And formless matter pattern (stock image)
Oliver and Jon live in a cabin similar to this one, but it it not on stilts, and is slightly smaller.
The living room of the cabin/ stairwell reference photo geometric purposes mainly. Furniture would be in different locations.
Oliver's room is upstairs, closer to the living room, and conjoined to Jon's via a two door bathroom. Other side of the room would have a dresser, and rest with lamp, on the wall above desk would be corkboard filled with photos, the whole room is littered with photos, artwork, and small sculptures and the occasional food bowl/plate or glass of water.
Jon's room, also upstairs and with a small balcony with a telescope. Usually the bed is never made, and there are blueprints and sketches for machines strewn about the room. There are three rat cages stacked on tip of eachother, no longer housing any rats and tit now serves as a makeshift tv stand.
Sticky notes and notes clipped to strings with daily reminders are taped to the ceiling fan, and TONS of bowls of food are stacked on the dresser and nightstand.
Upstairs attic sans bed, mainly for geometric use.
A foldable table in the front corner, covered in blueprints and crumpled equations, one blackboard with an indecipherable code in clown language, stacks and stacks of squeaking rats in cages that are half covered by a blanket, newspaper and shredded paper on the ground. All in the far left corner, in the center is the in progress machine which takes up majority of the space in the attic.
Douglass's house, exterior design (still a ways away from Oliver's, but within building permit distance for general contractors, much less kempton, and inside the home is fairly dark and closed off. is separated by a square archway, that runs horizontal from living area to kitchen, and a hallway that runs back the house with Douglass's room being the last.
Cassidy's house, further into the city, and much closer to the school, it's old but still very welcoming and warm, bright colors designate each different room with various collections of rocks large and small and obvious white witch paraphernalia. Two awesome and loving witch moms inside.
Labratory at the west end of town, much larger than initially anticipated, not really NASA but basically the same. Sterile and hospital like inside. There is a large warehouse in the north wing that houses the super collider.
Dimensional interim/ The Cornucopoa.
A complex array of swirling colors that represent an infinite amount of alternate universes and the millions of dimensions that exist. At the center is a big black circle, much like a black hole. It's not, it's a mass of empty space where dark matter used to be.
Cornucopia city reference is almost if not entirely colorless, a stark contrast to the surrounding landscape and the citizens residing inside.
Dark matter substance, containing every element known to man and not, it looks like a galaxy or a star scape. The "natural" form of clowns, that can be a solid, liquid, gas, color or anything in between. The only difference between untamed dark matter and a clown is that a clown generally will have white eyes still formed in the mass and will have a bean.
Dark matter that makes up a clown can be controlled without being in the same vicinity of its clown, including through dimensional planes so long as the clown has enough matter to stretch that far.
General reference to Pine Town school (Junior High and High school)
Pine Town reference, though smaller than flagstaff AZ
Landscape reference.
Pine town in general is higher elevation, the more eastward the lower the elevation, so from Oliver's house (which sits at the edge of a hill going downward east) the shift in foliage occurs, there is a lake at the bottom of the hill nestled between two very large hills/slopes. Further north east is a mountain range that crosses over toward the west, and one very large interstate that passes through the town. Most notably, there is a cliff that juxtaposes the shift in elevation approximately 400 yards to 2 miles north east of Oliver's house.
Due to the elevation, Pine Town snows every winter, and has a booming skii lodge for tourism.
It's also known for holding observation of the stars every summer at the local laboratory, and many strange visual anomalies similar to aurora borealis that can be seen primarily during the fall (coincidentally, these spike when testing is done on the super colider)
Due to the isolation of the town itself, it garners a lot of retirees and wealthy vacationers, but its primary source of citizenship is from the employees of the labratory, making up at least 70% of the adult population.
