"More Than a Friend" MiKai One-shot (Requested by @EmiliaUchiha)

(A/N: I just checked the table of contents and saw that they mostly have Kai in it... Except for the MiwaMisa one... O.o KaiSaki, Asaka x Kai, Kai x Oc, MiKai, KaiRen O.o

P.S This isn't as good as the other ones... I'm busy because of school and such, preparations here and there)

"Yo, Kai!" Miwa greeted as he entered Kai's apartment, startling the brunette who was cooking, causing him to get a first degree burn. Kai hissed in pain.

"Ah, sorry!" The blonde apologized.

"How did you get in? I'm pretty sure that the door was locked." Kai asked as he turned off the stove and went to treat the burn. He put his hand under running water.

"...I'm not sure if I should answer that..." Miwa hesitated. He got the first aid kit under Kai's bed and handed it to him.

The brunette opened the first aid kit and got the bandage. He was about to wrap his hand when suddenly Miwa held his hand and got the bandage.

"Let me treat this, after all it was my fault that you got burned." Miwa told Kai. Kai hesitated a bit but the other teen insisted.

Miwa made sure that he didn't hurt Kai as he wrapped his hand. Kai nodded as his thanks when Miwa was finished.

"What were you cooking?" Miwa changed the topic and Kai sighed.

"Sashimi." He said simply.

"Let me continue this, instead. You might get a burn again-" Miwa was interrupted.

"If a certain someone didn't startle me, then I wouldn't get hurt."

"Fine, fine. It's my fault. Let's have a cardfight instead. You can't refuse that, can you?" The blond suggested and Kai sighed before nodding in agreement.

He got the playmat under his bed and laid it over the small table. "Stand up, Vanguard!"

"Stand up the Vanguard!"

"Kai... How about we make this game more interesting?" Miwa asked.

"Like what?" Kai asked back.

"The one who loses would have to follow whatever the winner would say for a day." He said.

"Fine with me." The brunette nodded in agreement.

"Draw. Ride!"

(Time Skip to the end of fight~~~~ No idea about Kagero Seal Dragons and Perdition Dragons~~~)

"Finishing blow, Blockade Inferno!" Miwa declared and dealt the last damage needed to defeat Kai.

"Damage check...Agafia! Heal trigger. Power to Overlord and heal one damage." Kai revealed a heal trigger to his relief.

"I'm not yet done, Kai. My rear-guard Blockade Inferno attacks!"

"Damage check...Ikuso...Draw Trigger..."

"Heh. I was just lucky today, eh?" Miwa said making Kai sigh.

"Who are you, Morikawa? Basing everything on luck?"

"That's mean, Kai... Anyways, don't be mean to me!"

"I'm not being mean on purpose. It's just you who takes everything seriously." Kai told Miwa while returning the placemat under his bed.

"Liar. You are, just admit it." Miwa said and smirked a bit to Kai.

"What?" Kai asked as he noticed the blonde's smirk.

"Nothing, it's just I knew that you would lose so that's why I brought up the interesting part of the game." The blonde told the brunette making him raise a brow.

"And how did you know that I would lose?"

"Because... When you fought with Aichi at card capital earlier this afternoon, I noticed that you were only using grade 0's to guard."

"How does that connect to the topic?" Kai asked.

"Shush! Let me finish first. And so that I noticed that when your fight was over you didn't shuffle your deck and seperate the triggers." Miwa said.

"I never knew that you could really analize situations."

"You're being mean again..." Miwa muttered.

"I'm just stating a fact, nothing else." Kai said and sat on the bed. He was deep in thought.

"What are you thinking about, Kai?" Miwa asked as he sat beside Kai.

"Nothing important." The brunette replied still lost in thought.

"You know Kai...There's something that I really want to do... I can't..." The blonde hesitated. Kai yawned a bit, barely noticeable.

"Miwa...I want to sleep...Leave." Kai said.

"Eh? You don't seem sleepy at all." Miwa replied.

"I really am..." The other teen stated, trailing off.

"Alright, I'll leave if you..." Miwa said with a small smirk, then leaning over Kai's ear to whisper something.

"...No." Kai refused.

"No malice. We're just friends. You know that, ri-" The blonde was interrupted by Kai since he did what Miwa had told him to do; kiss him.

Miwa's eyes widened as Kai put his hand at his nape, but he soon got into the kiss as well.

After a few seconds, Kai pulled away. "Now I did what you were telling me to do, leave now." He demanded.

"Fine, fine. See you soon." Miwa replied and left.

They were having the same thoughts, concidentially.

"I wish that I said More than a friend..." Miwa muttered.

"I wish that it was More than a friend.." Kai whispered to himself.

(A/N: I was laughing in my mind since I was listening to some songs while writing this chapter. Seriously though ^^
