(I copy-pasted this one-shot, so it may seem familiar to some of you. And I didn't edit anything.)

"Dared" Kai x Kourin or KaiRin with a bit of Misaki x Aichi or MisaChi one shot (Requested by @ItsMeCiel)

(Setting: School
Pretend that They're in one school, Kourin isn't an idol.)

"WHAT THE HELL DID I JUST LOSE?" Kourin muttered as her 6th card flew into the damage zone.

"Sorry Kourin, but you lose." Misaki smirked and Kourin sighed.

"You got me. A deal's a deal. Now what is your dare?" She asked the lilac-haired girl. 

Misaki was keeping her cards while thinking. Then she thought of an idea. "Seduce the best friend of your crush."

"THERE'S NO WAY THAT I'LL DO THAT!" Kourin exclaimed, luckily it was only her and Misaki in their club room.

"Don't back out from a dare. Remember last time when you made me date Miwa?"

"Returning the favor, I see...." Kourin mumbled as she heard what Misaki said. The blonde club member is left with no choice, then.

"Oh, and make him blush." Misaki added.

"Damn it Misaki, that's overkill. There's no way I can seduce nor make Kai blush." She protested, but Misaki has already decided.

Kourin sighed in defeat and kept her cards. She was about to leave when she added. "And give me 1-2 weeks. "

Misaki winked at her. "Take your time. You might end up-" She was cut off since Kourin slammed the door.

I hope she realizes her true feelings.

"Aichi....... Did you just lock all of my rear-guards?" Kai asked and Aichi nodded.

"You'll lose Kai. I'll tell you!" Aichi smiled and activated some abilities.

Kai was forced to discard 3 cards and he's left with only 2 cards. Aichi has 6 units total.

Kai was sure to lose.

After 3 attacks, Kai's 6th damage flew into the damage zone. "Damn it." He muttered and Aichi was looking victorious.

"Alright, you win. What do you want?" Kai asked Aichi and he thought for a while.

"Make it quick." Kai said impatiently.

"Fine, fine. Kiss Kourin-san." Aichi said calmly despite Kai being impatient.

"No." Kai immediately denied.

"Aw you're no fun!" Aichi whined.

"Stop that tone Aichi, it's kinda irritating." Kai deadpanned.

"But a dare's a dare!" Aichi added and Kai sighed.

"You can't make me."

"But I did yours last time! You made me-" Kai cut Aichi off.

"Jeez, alright, alright! I'll do it." He finally gave up.

Kai kept his deck and left.

This is going to be interesting.. Aichi thought as Kai left.

Ugh, curse that Misaki... Curse that Misaki...
Kourin kept on mumbling as she returned to her home.

She slammed the door open, and her sisters were startled. "Are you having your PMS, Kourin?"

Suiko asked as she entered. "Worse than that, thanks for asking." Kourin replied sarcastically and went to her room.

Rekka and Suiko stared at each other for a while before shrugging and continuing what they were doing.

Kourin laid down on her bed and sighed. How could I possibly do what Misaki said....?

Then her mind drifted to Kai. Ugh, I can't possibly do this. She sighed once again.

She just buried her face in her pillow and thought of how to do it... While cursing Misaki.

Kai sighed as he entered his apartment. He was thinking about his decision

Why did I agree, anyways?

Was the question on his mind as of now. True, he made Aichi do something worse but he didn't expect Aichi to return the favor.

I respect Tatsunagi. How could I possibly do this?

Damn you Aichi for making me think like this.

Kai cursed. He usually doesn't need to think and acts directly but this time it's hard. He needs to think.

I'll just think about it tomorrow.

He did his homework instead.

The next day, there was a project in Chemistry.

It was done in pairs. Kourin was expecting Misaki to be her partner but it ended up differently.

"Next.... Kai and Tatsunagi" The two of them were shocked. Misaki and Aichi did a fist bump.

Obviously, the two of them planned it. They requested the professor to do so.

At break time, Kourin was arranging her things inside her locker when she heard someone whisper. "Go to my house later for our project."

Kourin doesn't need to turn around to recognize that cold voice so she just nodded. It was obviously Kai.

Kourin knocked on Kai's door. It was only 5 seconds before he opened it. "Come in."

Kourin entered, leaving her shoes outside. She was amazed at how neat Kai's house was.

"Take a seat, Tatsunagi." He offered.

Kourin sat down as Kai said so.

Damn you Aichi, I can't possibly do this.  Kai cursed Aichi.

However, Kourin wasn't thinking about what Misaki dared her to do. She was thinking about their project.

She seems to notice that Kai was being tense. Then she remembered about Misaki's dare.

*u****i* , **** , I can say almost every curse word about you, Misaki.

She was cursing Misaki. No negative adjective was enough to describe Misaki, for Kourin of course.

Kai was debating with himself whether to do what Aichi said or not. He knows that Kourin was there for their project, but it can't be helped.

Both of them were thinking about their dares, which was true enough, stupid.

"U-Uh, Kai" "T-Tatsunagi" They said at the same time.

"You go first" "Go ahead" They said at the same time again.

"J-just go first." Kourin immediately said after that statement making Kai sigh.

He stood up and walked up to Kourin.

Just say it... Simple as that. He reminded himself.

I never thought as much as this in my whole life. Kai added.

"I know that you came here for our project, but it can't be helped..."

"What do you mean-" Kourin wasn't able to finish since Kai kissed her.

Kourin's eyes widened at first, but she just went with it.

Kai felt her response and was actually shocked.

He pulled away and apologized. "L-look, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to." he sighed and paused for a while.

Aichi didn't say that I shouldn't tell her, did he?

"It was just..."

"Aichi's dare. I know." Kourin cut him off.

"I'm sorry." He apologized again and Kourin nodded.

Why does it hurt? She asked herself. But she hid it.  

"It's almost 5, I gotta go." Kourin said and left.

Kai looked at his watch. "It's only 4:12..." he mumbled.

Kourin entered her room and slammed the door. Why does it hurt so much even though I don't love him?

She asked herself and buried her face on her pillow. She unconsciously cried.

She heard the door open. "Kourin, are you alright?"

Suiko...

"Yeah, I am!" Kourin lied.

"Then why are you crying?" Suiko asked her and sat on Kourin's bed.

I was...crying?

"I'll hear you out." She reassured Kourin.

"No need. You'll just laugh at my stupidity." Kourin laughed humorlessly.

"Why would I? I'm your sister."

Kourin sighed in defeat after hearing those words. She sat up, hugging her pillow. "You're actually crying, I see."

"I don't know why Suiko, but getting rejected hurts. Even though I don't love him." She said straightaway.

"Why would you get hurt, if you don't love him?" Suiko asked.

She's right... Why?

"I don't know either...."

"You might not know it yet, but you love him, whoever who is. I'll leave you time to think." Suiko left Kourin alone as she closed the door behind her.

I may not know it yet, but I love Kai?  Full of ridicule, Suiko.

The next day, Misaki noticed that Kourin was feeling down.

She just remained silent. I don't know why, but I feel guilty about Kourin being down.

"So, uh, Kourin, what happened?"  Misaki asked Kourin.

"It's nothing.." She mumbled. Misaki sighed and caressed her back.

"I know you're lying. Tell me about it."

"It's all because of that stupid dare of yours. Thanks for giving me that dare." Kourin replied, sarcasm evident in her voice and she left.

Misaki was left looking at the direction where Kourin went off to. She's hurt... And it's because of Kai. So she realized ..

Misaki sighed and went to the locker room.

Aichi and Kai were heading to their classroom. I think that I hurt her... Kourin and her feelings.

"What's wrong, Kai-kun?" Aichi asked and Kai sighed.

"Aichi, how would you know that you hurt someone?" He asked back.

"Why? Did you hurt someone? Kourin-san, per-" Kai interrupted Aichi.

"Just answer my damn question."

"Uh... She or he avoids you... Acts differently... I guess? I barely get  mad at anyone so I don't actually know."

Kai sighed after hearing those words.

They entered the classroom and Kai sighed. "Well, Kai-kun, that's your 9th sigh. What's wrong?" Aichi asked.

"Nothing is wrong." Kai denied. Then he saw Kourin enter. He walked up to Kourin and held her hand.

"I'm sorry. Can we talk about it later? At the rooftop." Kai requested. Kourin nodded as her response.

Aichi noticed this and winked at Kai, who glared at him.

"I'm here. Now what?" Kourin said coldly.

Cold as ice.

Kai thought as he heard Kourin. "First things first, I want to apologize. If I possibly hurt you, then I'm sorry."

"Get straight to the point. Misaki's waiting for me."

"If you say so.... Then I'll be straightforward. Tatsunagi Kourin, I thought over it last night, until I realized one thing." Kai paused for a while.

"Kourin," He held both of her hands. "What I did was wrong, it wasn't just Aichi's dare. It was also my decision. But, the truth is, I love you Kourin. I won't deny it anymore."

Kourin was speechless. But she just smiled as her response. Then she spoke.

"You know what, what I did yesterday was also Misaki's dare. But I also did the same thing and I also realized what you realized."

She tiptoed and placed her lips on his.

They pulled away and smiled at each other.

"What will happen to us now?" Kai asked.

"Do you really have to ask? I love you, Kai Toshiki."

"I love you too, Tatsunagi Kourin."

The next day, Kourin and Kai had a plan. Kourin brought Misaki to the field, Kai and Aichi were already waiting.

"So, why did you bring me here?" Misaki asked.

"Same question, Kai-kun. Why?"

Kai held Kourin's hand and nodded. "We challenge you to a tag battle!" They said in unison.

Misaki and Aichi exchanged looks.  "Same twist?" they asked making Kai and Kourin nod.

Their match ended with Misaki and Aichi's loss.

Kai and Kourin shared the same look. "Kiss." They said simply.  

"Eh!?" Misaki and Aichi protested, but there was no changing their mind.

Misaki and Aichi looked at each other, then turning their back and crossing their arms.
