Cat Noir's POV

"Hello, Cat Blanc. I am Hawkmoth."

"I know very well who you are! And my name is Cat Noir!"

"Tsk tsk, you sound so upset to hear from me, but all I want to do is help you."

"You don't want to help me! You don't want to help anyone but yourself!"

"That's not true. I really do want to help you."

"Help me what? Destroy my partner?"

"Of course not, I just want to help you make amends with your partner. And I only ask a small fee in return."

"Yeah yeah, mine and Ladybug's miraculous, right?"

"Ah, what a smart feline you are."

"Well, it's what you always want. So I took a lucky guess."

"Hm, yes. So, are you willing to let me help you?"

"Of course not! I'd rather never see Ladybug again than help you!"

"Mm, that can be arranged."

Somehow, he's hurting me.

I don't know how, but he is.

Squeezing my insides, I can barely breathe.

"Stop! Stop it!"

"Not until you help me get what I want!"

"Ne-ver!"

"Suit yourself."

It's almost as if he's here with me, choking me, taking my life away.

In my moment of distress, the akuma seeps into me, overwhelming me with its darkness, until I cannot resist, no matter how much I want to.

Hawkmoth has taken over.

He's in control of me now, I'm his servant.

I'm unaware of anything that's happening now, the akuma is doing everything.

I silently apologize for everything I'm about to do, and hope Ladybug, and Paris will be able to forgive me.

You went to bed fairly early, Cat Noir hadn't show up at his usual time frame, so you assumed he'd asked one or both of the girls out, and one had said yes, and he was too busy with them to visit.

Not even a text though, and that was very unusual.

You brushed it off and went to sleep.

Only to be awoken by a loud thud, like someone had landed on the roof.

Really? An akuma at this hour? You think exasperatedly.

You get out of bed and creep to the window, then look out, hoping to say hi to Cat Noir after the person gets back to normal.

What you see makes you gasp, and your heart stops for a moment.

On a roof not far away, is Ladybug, fighting a much lighter version of Cat Noir.

It's not actually him though, right? Because why would he be so white?

But it is him.

And he's fighting well.

Ladybug's POV

I can barely hold my ground, I never expected this to happen, I wish I could take it all back.

I know I hurt him, but I don't know why I did it.

I'm not that mean on a regular basis, at least, I don't think I am.

And it's only been this week, when I've been so mean.

And usually only when I've been transformed.

I wonder if it's something with my miraculous, or Tikki even?

I can't think about it now, I have to help my partner.

I think his akuma is in his bell, it's the only thing other than his eyes, which are an icy blue, that's not white.

It's purple.

"Ladybug. You hurt me, you said I don't deserve a miraculous! How could you say that to your partner? Maybe you don't deserve yours! So I'll be taking it!"

"Cat, please! I know you're in there, and I'm sorry! I don't know why I said those things, I didn't mean them!"

Cat Blanc/Noir's POV

How am I still aware that Ladybug said those things?

And how do I know that she's being truthful about not meaning them?

I try to fight the akuma, but then I hear Hawkmoth speaking to me.

"Don't fight it, Blanc. Or I'll have to use force again."

The pain was so awful last time, I don't want to go through it again.

But he does it anyway.

Squeezing me, as if I'm a doll.

I almost collapse, but the akuma pulses through me, and overtakes me again, and I once more loose myself.

Ladybug's POV

His eyes flash green for a split second, and I know I'm getting through to him.

But Hawkmoth must have broken whatever progress Cat was making, because the ice blue returns, colder than ever.

"Just let me have your earrings!"

"No, Cat! Let me have your bell!"

"Why would I do that?"

"So I can free the akuma!"

He just snarls at me and reaches for my earrings.

I leap back, then jump to the roof of the next building to try and regroup.

"Ladybug! In here! Quick!"

I look down and see y/n, leaning out her open balcony door.

I quickly go inside and she shuts and locks the door.

"WHAT HAPPENED TO CAT?!" She immediately shouts to me.

"I, um, I..."

"You what!?"

"Imayhaveaccidentallygottenhim akumatizedbecauseIyelledat himthatIdon'tlikehimandthat heshouldjusttellhisfeelingsfor youtoHawkmothandhaveyou takenasbait?" I quickly say it all, and it probably all sounds like one word.

"You did what!?" Y/n says so I tell her, but more slowly this time
=============================You stand there in shock, only half understanding what Ladybug said.

"I may have accidentally gotten him akumatized because I yelled at him that I don't like him and that he should just tell his feelings for you to Hawkmoth and have you taken as bait?" She says, slower this time.

Your eyes widen and you just stare at her.

"First of all, why would you say that?! Second of all, he doesn't have feelings for me..." You trail off sadly from the last part.

"What do you mean? He just told me that he did?"

"What!? But, he said he likes you and some other girl!"

"So we know that he actually does, or I should probably say did, like me. But what other girl?"

"I don't know, he said that he liked you and another girl he'd recently fallen for, and he asked me what he should do." You say with a shrug.

"Y/n, he was probably talking about you!"

"He was?!"

"Yes!"

"Ooohhhhhh. Wow." You blush, but suddenly remember what's happening.

"Ok, enough talking about who Cat Noir likes, you need to help him!"

"I know. But I don't know how!"

"Well, just do like any other akuma!"

"But then I have Cat Noir to help me!"

"Oh yeah. But what about your other superhero friends?"

"I don't have time to get to them, Cat would find me. I was barely able to get in here."

"Hm. What if... What if I could help?" You ask tentatively.

"You don't even have a miraculous! What could you do?"

"I don't know... Maybe it's better that I don't have miraculous?"

"How could that be better?!"

"Well, he'll know it's me, and maybe I could negotiate with him?"

"No, y/n. That most likely is not gonna work. This isn't the Cat Noir you're used to, this is an akuma!"

"Well let me at least try! I can't just sit by and do nothing! He's my best friend!"

"I guess we could possibly try it... But I don't want to put a civilian in danger!"

"I'll be fine. Just let me."

"Ugh, alright. But I'm staying close by."

"Great! Let's go!"

You peek out the window, and when you don't see Cat Blanc you go onto the balcony with Ladybug.

"Ok, we're gonna swing to that roof over there and look for him. Got any master plans?" Ladybug asks.

"You're supposed to be the one with a plan!"

"Hey, it was your idea to do this!"

"Let's just get over there, then we'll see what happens."

"Whatever. And hold on tight."

"I know what to do."

"Ok, if you say so."

You link your arms together around her neck and she flings the two of you to the next roof.

You both hide behind a giant pipe so he doesn't see you.

"Look! He's over there!" You whisper to her, and point to a roof two buildings away, one you couldn't see from the window.

"So, what do you plan to do to help?"

"Uhh, maybe you should see what your Lucky Charm thinks we should do?"

"Good idea. Lucky Charm!" she calls for her special power and a tube of chap stick falls into her hand.

"Oookaayy. What the heck do I do with this?"

She looks around for a moment, then says "Ugh! I can't figure it out!"

"Could Cat Noir be part of what you need?"

"Maybe. Oh, and he's going by Cat Blanc now. So, you probably shouldn't call him Cat Noir."

"But he's still Cat Noir?"

"Yes, but akumas tend to get angry when you use their regular names." She explains.

"Oohh."

"Yeah. So, I guess we should either get him over here, or go to him."

"Which roof has the most space?"

"This one, I think."

"Then he should come to us."

"Ok. I'll get his attention."

She stands up and yells at him.

"Hey, Cat! You want my miraculous? Come and get it!"

He leaps over, and immediately reaches for her earrings.

She looks down at the chap stick attached to her belt, then at Cat, then back to you.

Her weird glances leave you puzzled, but you get even more puzzled when she wraps her yo-yo string around him and another pipe, then she jumps over to you.

She quickly whispers the plan to you, completely shocking you in the process.

"WHAT!?" You exclaim.

"You heard me. Just do it! That's not gonna hold him long!"

"But, what if he doesn't actually like me, what if he gets upset, what if-" She cuts you off by stuffing the chap stick tube onto your lips, and you take it from her and apply it correctly.

Why it's needed you're not sure, but decide to trust her.

"Cataclysm!" You hear Cat shout, and he disintegrates the pipe he's tied to.

Ladybug quickly snaps up her yo-yo string and nods to you.

You take a deep breath and step out, making sure to stay close to Ladybug.

Cat's eyes flash from green to blue a few times before settling on blue.

"HAHAHAH! Ladybug! You're too scared of me so you send y/n, who doesn't even have a miraculous!? Hah, what a wimp! I can't believe I ever liked you!"

"She didn't send me. I sent myself."

"Oh? And what are you gonna do?" He says with a smirk as he walks toward you, until you're just a step apart.

"Um. This." You say, then step closer, and simultaneously put your hand on his shoulder, while grabbing his bell.

Before he can protest you bring his lips to yours, he just stands there for a moment, but then you feel him kiss back.

You squint your eyes open, and break his bell off, then toss it to Ladybug.

She quickly breaks it, and grabs the akuma.

"Miraculous Ladybug!" She shouts as she throws the chap stick, and you pull away from Cat Blanc, just before the magical ladybugs turn him back to normal.

He looks around, distorted, until you envelope him in a giant hug.

"Kitty! I missed you!"

"Where was I?" He asks as he hugs back.

"Um, you were, um-" Ladybug breaks in before you can finish.

"Uh, Cat? I just wanted to say I'm sorry for what I said, I never meant it. I think something is wrong with my miraculous, I'll have to look into it. I can't talk now, but I'll explain more later. Meet me tomorrow at our usual time?"

"Ok. See you."

"Bye guys, and y/n, thanks for the help!"

You smile and say "My pleasure." with a small blush.

She jumps away, then Cat starts his. inquiries.

"What help? What did you do? I'm still... Oohh wait! Wait wait wait! I was akumatized! Oh my gosh, y/n! I didn't hurt you or anything did I?!"

You smile at his concern and assure him, "No, you didn't do anything to me. Kicked Ladybug a couple times though."

He sighs in relief and says, "Good. Not about kicking Ladybug, about not hurting you, I mean."

"I know what you meant," You giggle.

"Now. Come inside and tell me what happened." You say, pulling on his hand.

"Um, ok..."

He lifts you up and jumps to your balcony, then you both go inside and sit on the bed.

"Ok, so, I took your advice and told Ladybug I liked her, or at least, I tried to, until she told me to go tell my feelings to um, the other girl I mentioned, that she knows I like the other girl, and I might as well tell Hawkmoth I like the other girl, and I didn't deserve my miraculous, and then she just left!" He tears up, and you can't help but feel furious at Ladybug.

She had said some of this to you already, but not in much detail.

But she did say that the 'other girl' was probably you, but you're not so sure she was correct.

Although, he didn't pull away from the kiss earlier.

And since he was akumatized he definitely should have pulled away, right?

You realize you haven't answered so you hug Cat again and say, "Ladybug is wrong. You deserve your miraculous just as much, or more, than she does! I don't even know why she's upset that you like her, you're awesome!"

Cat gives a huge smile and hugs you even tighter.

"Thank you y/n, you've always believed in me. I love you."

You feel your eyes widen to saucers and you know you must be redder than a tomato.

"Um, I um, I mean, uh!" Cat flusters and you laugh.

"I love you too, ya dork."

"Like as friends?"

"Well, yes." You hope that he gets your insinuating of liking as friends, but also something else.

"Um, yeah. That's what I meant. Friends."

"Great. Well, I guess you can ask the other girl out now?" You say sadly, wondering if he really meant friendship love.

He sits there for a minute, just staring into the distance, and you quirk a brow at his odd behavior.

"Uh, yeah. Right. I'll ask her soon." He eventually says.

Well, guess he doesn't like me... You sadly think.

So does he just go and flirt with whoever?

"Well uh, good luck." You say, really trying not to let the sadness seep into your voice.

"Erm, thanks."

"Yeah. Well, I hope she says yes. She'd be crazy not to." You smile, though it probably looks sad.

"Uh thanks. I'll let you know what happens."

How wonderful, he's gonna tell me all about his new girlfriend.

"Cool. I hope things will work out great." You try to say it nicely, but probably sound bitter.

"Me too."

You secretly wish it doesn't work out, but feel awful for being like that.

"Well uh, I guess I should go home and get some sleep. It's late." He says.

"Uh yeah, probably."

He smiles and stands up.

"Bye Cat, I'll see you later." You say as he walks to the door.

"Bye y/n, see ya."

He looks back and waves, so you mimic.

After he jumps away you fall into the bed and groan into the pillow

I really thought he liked me, especially from what happened with the akuma.

Why didn't he pull away?

If he didn't like me, he definitely should have, since he was already upset enough.

You eventually fall into a fitful slumber, but not before a few tears flow down your cheeks.

Just to clarify, I wrote this before the episode came out, but after the trailers, so I didn't know that's actually where the akuma was, but I knew what he looked like. I wasn't trying to copy😆
