As Neo and Ash walked back to the locker room. Ash had removed his mask and was deadly quiet. His face in a frown. Zappy and Pikachu walked beside their respective trainers.

Neo asked,"Everything Alright?"

"Nope," Ash decided to speak the truth.

"What happened then?"

"You see, there's a guy named Calem Xavi-"

"You mean Camel!"

Ash chuckled,"Yeah him. But how do you know him?"

Neo's face then wore a frustrated frown.

" I lost the Kalos League finals. To that Bastard," Neo sighed.

"Well but I am Sure Neo Inferno gave his Darkrai a run for its money," Ash replied. Optimistic as usual.

"Nope. At that time, we weren't even able to form the fire vortex inside which the bond evolution happens...So, what is yer history with Camel?"

"I lost my title to him."

"What Title?"

"Of the Alolan Champion."

"Oh yeah the Champion," Neo casually remarked but then gained his senses,"Wait...the Champion?! You were a Champion!"

Ash sweat dropped, "Yeah. That of Alola ."

"Can't believe you didn't tell me."

"Well I wanted a normal School life."

After a few ramblings, Neo finally calmed down.

" Alola. Yeah. Heard about it. But never went there."

"Lillie is from Alola only."

"Oooh. Isn't that Z - ring there on your wrist.. Heard about it on the net. Maybe in summer Vacation , I also Can go there to get one."

"Yeah sure!"

Neo then continued," But I don't guess you losing to Camel is the reason of you sulking. From what I have observed, you are optimistic. So, I don't guess you are one to cry over the milk."

Ash considered for a while," You are right?"

"Ok, Then tell me about it over lunch. We will sit alone if that gives yeh a vibe of Privacy."

Ash nodded as they went to the cafe and sat down at a table in the corner.

"Well , You see I traveled through many regions before coming here."

Ash narrated the story of Kanto to Unova before he Finally came to Kalos.

"There, I traveled with Clemont, who you met day before yesterday and his little sis Bonnie. And the third person was Serena- she is a Performer . I met her in my childhood. In a summer camp In Pallet town but she had to move away due to some reasons. Then I kinda met her In Kalos when I was in Santalune City. After some complications that were solved,I invited her to travel along with me."

"Okay..That much I understand. What how is she related to Camel?"

"Let me get there, Neo. So after that , she had gathered a team of Braixen, her starter, Sylveon and Pancham."

Neo nodded.

"Then?"

Ash explained how she changed her outfit after losing her first Showcase and how she won three keys after it. Then came the part where Serena almost won the title Of Kalos Queen.Finally the story came down to when Ash lost his first battle against Wulfric.

Neo chuckled while Zappy snickered.

Ash's face wore a confused look.

"What's so funny about me losing?"

"N-nothing. It's just that you lost cause Your Bond Phenomenon failed and I-I W-on cause by Bond Phenomenon failed," Neo managed between Laughs.

"R-r-rai chuu!"

Ash's look got even more confused,"How?"

Hearing this, Neo's laughter stopped as his face turned Beet red.

"That's a story for another time. Continue with yours," Neo said in an embarrassed tone.

Ash nodded,"So, then I was sulking around, sitting on a log when she showed up and man ! She was able to knock me out of my depressed state with a couple of snowballs and a few words of shouting. A feat nobody has achieved."

Neo tilted his head,"I can knock you outta yer depression in an even shorter span of time."

"How so?"

Neo grinned,"With a hard kick on yer butt!"

Ash grinned back but then Continued with the Story a soon as he completed it, Neo spit out the Cola he had been sipping.

In a fit of Coughs , while Zappy thumped his trainer's back, Neo finally Exclaimed, eyes wide,"YOU GOT SNOGGED BY A KALOSIAN GIRL...AWW YOU'RE SO LUCKY!"

"What's special with that?" Ash asked, Eyebrows raised.

"Umm...Kalosians, especially , blond Kalosians are considered to be among the the most beautiful women in the globe."

"Really?" Ash questioned, curious.

"Yeah. Why would I lie?"

Ash nodded. On the outside, it seemed he was neutralBut on the inside, he was bubbling with emotion.

Ash then came to the main part,"She is here In C.U.T-"

Neo sprang to his feet,"Then the hell are we doin'! Let's go meet her!"

"- And she's dating Calem Xavier."

Neo felt his eyes widen in horror,"NO! Not that Skinny Satan !"

Ash sighed,"Yeah."

It was the next day, the start of the eliminators.

"THE FIRST ELIMINATOR IS OF NEWT AND RED AGAINST DAN AND JORDAN !"

"I swear I am gonna make Blitzfang bite his ass if he Calls me Newt one more darn time," Neo growled in a hostile tone.

Ash chuckled as he shook his head. He really liked this guy.

In a matter of minutes, Ash and Neo were up against Dan, the guy who was disrespectful towards Gladion in the battling class ans his friend , Jordan , who in Neo's vision looked like a ' Sand head creep'.

On seeing Neo, Dan's face chortled in fury, "Ahh.You again! Well Today is bad luck for you as I am against you!"

Neo and Ash were mildly amused.

The referee called out,"Trainers, bring out your Pokemon!"

Dan grabbed a Pokeball and threw it violently. In a flash , the familiar Iron leg Pokmon came out and gave a battle Cry.

"METTAA!"

Neo noticed the silver band its right fore leg. Most probably A Mettagrossite . Better not take any chances.

"GO, JOKER!"

Neo threw his Pokeball and the forest Pokemon came out.

"SCEP! SCEPTILE!"

On Joker's wrist, In a copper band, rested the newly acquired Sceptilite. Ash saw this and Decided to make the things a bit more interesting As he took out Sceptile's Pokeball and threw it,"Sceptile I choose you!"

Sceptile came out and Jumped beside Joker.

Jordan threw a Pokeball and out of it came a Blaziken, A blazekenite in its metallic head band.

"Trainers ready?"
The four nodded.

"BATTLE BEGIN!"

Without wasting any time , Jordan Pressed the Key stone that he just carried in his pocket while Dan pressed A keystone that angled on the zipper of his green jacket.

"METAGROSS, MEGA EVOLVE!"

"BLAZIKEN MEGA EVOLVE!"

The strands of lights connected with the respective mega stones and Metagross and Blaziken Mega Evolved. Blaziken was now black and orange in Color with a more defined, quirked crest on its head and strands of flare now flowed from its wrists. Metagross floated in the air with a spike near its mouth. Its Four arms were now longer and faced the front. Also It gained four shorter legs that faced opposite the large ones.

Neo and Ash nodded at one another and prssed their own keystones. The strands of Light emerging from them joined to the Sceptilites equiped by Sceptile and Joker. A bright light began to emerge as it disappeared , two mega Sceptiles could be seen.

"SCEEPTILEE!" The grass and Dragon Types roared.

"LET THE BATTLE BEGIN!"

"Metagross , Flash Canon!"

"Blaziken, Blaze kick!"

Metagross formed a sphere of Silver light in front of its mouth and launched a Silverish White beam towards Sceptile.(Sceptile is Ash's while Joker is Neo's).

"Joker, Leaf Blade!"

The two leafs on Joker's wrist joined while glowing into shining green Sabers. Joker then jumped between Sceptile and the flash canon while crossing the leaf blades in front of him, bisecting the flash canon. Blaziken Jumped over Joker's head with its feet on fire when-

"Sceptile, leaf storm!"

Just as Blaziken was about to Hit Joker, Neo's Sceptile ducked and from above it came Sceptile's tail stinger, spinning Like a Drill while being surrounded by energized leaves. The leaf storm hit Blaziken in its chest, sending it flying as it Flew through the air.

Jordan gave out a command,"Flare Blitz!"

Ash turned to Neo and said,"Keep that Metagross Busy! Just do it!"

Blaziken was engulfed in flames that turned blue and rushed towards Sceptile. Ash nodded towards Sceptile and the forest Pokemon began running At a fast speed, Blaziken following him.

Neo got what he meant and Commanded,"Leaf Blade On Metagross! Back to Back!"

Joker again formed the green sabres on his wrists and began a Flurry of slashes towards Metagross.

"Psychic!"

Before Joker could slash Metagross, the steel type's eyes glowed blue as Joker was lifted into the air with a blue outline.

"NOW SLAM HIM INTO THE GROUND!"

Metagross used Psychic to Ram Joker onto the ground and then left him again and to slam him again.

Dan was grinning evilly seeing this.

"Frenzy Plant!" Neo ordered.

Just as Metagross swung Joker towards the ground, The Sceptile Extended its arms such that Instead of  being Slammed, his palms stuck the ground, causing gigantic green roots to emerge just beneath the floating Metagross, Sending it flying into the air.

"Dragon Rush!"

Joker jumped into the air  with a blue dragon shaped armor of energy and rushed at Metagross, slamming into it mid air , causing it to yell in pain. Joker landed on the ground while Metagross fell with a thud.

The mega Evolved Iron leg Pokemon then got up and began to float in the air.

"Zeh Head butt!"

"Joker, run !"

Metagross's head glowed blue as a light blue coating of light formed around its body. It then began to rush forward towards Joker, who began to run. 

Joker saw Sceptile running towards him as He and Neo grinned.

Just as Joker and Sceptile were almost face to face, Ash and Neo yelled,"JUMP!"

The Two Sceptile's jumped and from behind Ash's, emerged the flare Blitzing Blaziken, who kept on rushing forward, unable to stop. Metagross too couldn't side-float at time and Zen head butt and Flare Blitz collided, causing an Explosion.

Dust rose and The Two Sceptiles jumped backed in front of their trainers. The dust was taking time to clear. As the Dust finally began to disperse , a badly beaten Metagross and Blaziken could be seen. Then flames erupted around the levitating steel type. Burn damage. 

"GROSSS!" The Pokemon yelled in Agony. When the flames subsided, an Swirly eyed Metagross in its base form could be seen.Dan gritted his teeth as he returned his fallen Pokemon.

The mega Blaziken who was on his last legs looked at the two Mega Sceptiles in fear.

Jordan Decided to give one last go,"BLAST BURN!"

"Energy ball!" Neo yelled.

Blaziken was enveloped in scorching flames and was about to punch the ground when a jade colored ball of energy with a green core rammed into its stomach, sending it flying Back as it landed on its back.

Ash then smirked inside his mask. Ready to end it, he yelled,"Solar Beam!"

Sceptile jumped high into the air, right over Blaziken, the yellow and red seeds on its back collecting energy from the sun. As he began to descend, The seeds on his back were glowing tremendously and a light yellow orb formed in his mouth. Just as he was about five metres above Blaziken, who struggled to get up, Sceptile launched a large yellow beam of solar energy and....the rest is history.

Ash and Neo were again alone at a table in the Cafe. Pikachu and Raichu were rambling about Ketchup and Jam.

"So, Proceed with your love story," Neo remarked as he finished his burger.

"Well, so There is nothing left but I don't know Why would she date Calem."

Neo was also Thoughtful," Yeah, from what you tell me, Serena doesn't seem to be one to fall for that rascal. Don't worry,bro. First,let the tournament get over then we get yer girl back. Trust me, He ain't gettin' away with her." 

"Thanks Neo."

The next two days went smooth. Calem and Blade were the most savage duo with the other being Neo and Ash or In the Audience's point of view, Newt and Red. The quarter finals were the easiest yet. Crusher, Neo's Drudigon along with Krookodile defeated the opposing  Samurrot and Ferrothorn in just one Thunder punch and Stone edge.

Calem used his Lycanroc which immediately caught the attention of Gladion's Midnight Formed Lycanroc while Blade used a Golem against two girls' Flareon and Dragapult. 

Korrina and Clemont barely managed to win against a Manetric and Tauros using Magnezone and Mienshao.

Paul and Gary used Mega Aerodactyl and Torterra against two brothers' Dragonair and Hawlucha.

It was now time for Semi finals. Clemont and Korrina were to face Calem and Blade. The two teams were on the right and left sides respectively.

"TRAINERS, BRING OUT YOUR POKEMON!"

"Go, Lucario!" Korrina threw here Pokeball as the Aura Pokemon came out with a roar,"LUCAAR!"

"Go, Luxray!" Clemont threw the Pokeball of his own ace the gleam eyes Pokemon came out,"LUXXRAAYY!"

Blade threw his own Pokeball And out came out a menacing Alakazam , One of its spoons held an Alakazite. Calem threw his Pokeball with Agression, out of it came a Fearow, flying around while squawking,"Fearrrow!"

"TRAINERS READY? BATTLE BEGIN!"

Jordan grabbed the Key stone in his ring and pressed it,"Alakazam, mega Evolve!"

In a flash of light, a floating Mega Alakazam appeared,  Now Five spoons floating in front of it. It was floating in the air cross legged. It now had a long beard along with a red gem on its forehead.

Clemont gave the first command,"Electric Terrain !"

The Scientist nodded at Korrina , who returned it.

"RAAYYY!" Luxray growled and Lightning Bolts, large ones, Escaped its body and scattered in the air, yellow light flashing and blinding everyone. When the lights dimmed, Mega Lucario could be seen standing beside a Luxray who glowed  yellow along with the battlefield. 

"Psychic! Grab that Luxray and Throw it into the air!"

Alakazam's Eyes Glowed Blue as Luxray was lifted and launched into the air with a blue outline.

"Now use power gem!"

"Use Aerial ace on Lucario!"

"Lucario, Counter with Bone rush!"

"Luxray, Charge beam!"

Alakazam's gem glowed and A bright red beam shot out , heading for the falling Luxray. Fearow shot out at full speed at Lucario while being covered in white streaks of Energy.

Luxray, while being n air, released a beam of yellow electricity that collided with the Power gem. The charge beam, being empowered by the power gem easily overpowered it and headed for Alakazam, who dodged by simply floating aside.

Lucario formed a long green bone of energy and Rammed it into the aerial acing Fearow, sending it flying back.

"POWER UP PUNCH ON ALAKAZAM!" Korrina yelled.

"No, Korrina don't do it!" Clemont exclaimed.

Too late.

The aura Pokemon shrugged and ran towards the Psychic type, jumping into the air.

Calem quickly whispered something in Blade's ear, who smirked before nodding.

"Confusion!"

Lucario stopped just before Alakazam, whose eyes were glowing purple. The jackal like Pokemon's pupils dilated as it ran back towards Luxray, who just stood there.

"Thunder fang!"

Luxray opened, its mouth, canines sparkling with electricity and Bit down On Lucario's fist as He grunted in pain. It dealt some damage but Lucario was snapped out from the confusion.

"Thanks, Clemmy," Korrina said sweetly while smiling at the blond boy. Clemont burst into blushes, not able to say something, yammering.

The opponents decided to take advantage of this.

"Brave bird!"

Korrina looked up to see Fearow engulfed in flaring blue energy , heading to slam Into Lucario. The Blond girl smirked.

"Metal Claw!"

From the back of Lucario's hands . emerged three blackish grey claws. He swung them up, striking Fearow on the chin before it could land a hit, sending it flying upward. 

Calem growled. That Blond bitch had some nerve. 

"Use Hyper Beam!" Calem Yelled. 

"Alakazam, use Psychic to hold the two in Place!"

Spearow formed an orange sphere in front of its mouth and Alakazam's eyes glowed Blue as Luxray and ;Lucario were held in the air with a blue outline.

Clemont gave the next command,"Thunder On Alakazam!"

Luxray released a massive charge of electricity up into the air, Being empowered By Electric Terrain, It grew even larger and came Crashing down on the Psychic type before anyone could react. Alakazam lost its focus and Luxray and Lucario got down as A hyper beam flew over their head.

 Calem growled in Impatience.

Alakazam was breathing heavily along with Luxray and Fearow while Lucario, having plenty of stamina left, being a fighting type  made for physical power.

"Now's our chance! Lucario Aura Sphere!"

Everyone was confused as a fighting type move would do Little to Know damage against a flying or Psychic type. However , everyone saw an understanding look on Clemont's face. 

Lucario joined his paws and formed a dark blue ball of energy with Light blue sparks in its core.

"ON THE GROUND!" Korrina added.

Lucario rammed the aura sphere on the ground, creating a dust cloud that covered the entire battle field, including The Trainers. Even fearow was not able to escape the dust.

For a moment, the audience heard nothing but then a faint yell was heard and the next moment Fearow was flying with out of the Dust with a Wild Charging Luxray flying upwards with a super powerful sheet of thunder around him.

"Giga Impact!" Calem yelled. 

Fearow turned around and was covered in spiraling beams of purple and yellow energy, meeting a Head on Colision with Luxray. Both of them were still for a moment in the air, pushing against one another.

At last, Luxray was pushed down and sent crashing down at the Battlefield. The previous dust hadn't cleared when a second dust bout rose. 

Alakazam then came floating into the air.

"Use Psychic!" Blade yelled.

Luxray and Lucario were again raised into the Air as the dust cleared.

Calem rolled up his sleeve to reveal a Purple Z - ring, a flynium z resting in it. 

Fearow landed in front of him and Calem spread his arms wide in a perpendicular position and brought his raised Right arm over his left palm. He then immediately crossed them as Z Power flowed between Calem and Fearow.

"Supersonic," Calem growled as he raised his body,"SKYSTRIKE!"

Fearow was covered in blue flying type energy that was highly Unstable. He flew into the air, gaining height and speed. The bird proceeded to fly up to that extent that it remained visible only as dot in the sky. Alakazam Held Lucario and Luxray in the air such that they faced each other so Any attack they released would hit the other one. The dot in the sky then begin to grow bigger and bigger. Soon the form of the bird pokemon could be made out as It came dive bombing with the dangerous energy surrounding it.

 As soon as it got at the distance of hundred metres away from Lucario and Clemont, Alkazem dropped the two Pokemon onto the ground as Fearow covered the distance in the blink of an eye. Dive bombing straight into Lucario and Luxray as huge explosion occurred. The Land shook and Clemont and Korrina almost lost their Footing.

The dust cloud that rose was so huge that both the interior and Exterior of the Stadium were submerged in it. Calem was heard yelling ," Flap your wings you useless Crow!"

Soon the voice of Fearow was heard squawking and goosebump inducing winds begin to glow and soon a Flying Spearow and Floating Alakazam came into view.

When the dust completely cleared, A large Crater that covered the entire battle ground had the Aura and Gleam eyes Pokemon In it, Lucario in his base form. Both were badly bruised and knocked out.

Everyone was shocked at this level of power that Calem displayed.  

Clemont and Korrina were worried for their Pokemon. So, they quickly returned them and begin  to run towards the Clinic, that was attatched with the dorms on the second floor.

Nobody in the entire University said a thing for a while.
