Ash got down the plane in Madrador City Airport .  Pikachu on his shoulder. He was ready for a new start. To forget all the pain. All the sorrow.  To become a new person. Better than the previous Ash. 

Professor  Cerise got down, followed by Goh and Chloe. Chloe was still sleepy so she leaned against Goh's chest. Goh seemed to enjoy it very much.

Ash was standing outside the Plane with the three other people. 

"Hey, Ash!"

Ash turned to see the Professor who wore a  'I know something you might wanna know ' expression. 

"What is it?"

"Umm, you remember you told me about many of your friends you traveled with before?"

Ash nodded.

"Well there is ninety percent chance that most of them will be here."

"What ! Really !" Ash couldn't now even feel the ghost of his grief anymore. Seeing friends always helped him. He almost forgot that his last words to his mom were harsh. He forgot that he was now the last of his Bloodline left. He forgot how he lost his title to someone like Calem.

"Pikachu! " The Yellow mouse cheered on Ash's shoulder. He shared the same enthusiasm as his trainer. But above all, he was happy that his trainer was happy.

Suddenly Ash remembered something.

"Hey, Prof ?"
"Yeah, Ash?"

Ash thought for a moment before the words spilled out,"Can I hide my identity for a while?"

Ash expected the Professor to be shocked and oppose the idea but instead, a solemn small smile formed his lips before he said,"Yeah,off course."

Ash was genuinely surprised. Cerise saw this and quickly added,"I know. It's because you want to live simply for a while. You still are the Former Alolan Champion. Your face is alone enough to gather a crowd."

Ash was more than relieved that the Professor understood.

Goh then added with a sly smirk,"Yeah talk about gathering crowds. His fangirls would be enough to fill ten corridors. "

Ah felt his cheeks heat up a bit. Pikachu snickered. Just then , Yamper came out from his pokeball in Chloe's bag and yipped," Yampa! Yamper! perr!"

This time it was Pikachu who blushed and Ash who snickered. From everyone's confused expressions, Ash spoke, "Apparently, Yamper once encountered an Emolga in the laboratories' playground.  She wanted a bite mark from this yellow furball on her belly."

Everyone burst out lughing.

 "Well this little guy turned out to be a player!" exclaimed Professor Cerise in an amused tone.

"We better get going, we have to meet Professor Cerise at his lab."  Ash and Goh stared towards him in confusion. He then chuckled, "Oh yeah, I  forgot. He is my elder brother and the regional Pokemon Professor of Torrent. I'm Sakuragi Cerise and he is  Smith Cerise."

Ash and Goh nodded in enlightenment. "So, we better get going. "

They went to the airport counter of their terminal and checked out their luggage. Each of them had a suitcase and their daily used bags. As they got out of the airport, Ash couldn't help but feel that Torrent was warm. Really warm. He wondered that are there any new Pokemon here.

"Hey Professor."

"Yeah," the man said as he signaled for a cab to stop. 

As Ash helped Goh load their luggage into cab, he asked,"Are there any new pokemon here in Torrent?"

"Well there are few new ones and some regional variants like Alola and Galar. Also in this region, you can find mega stones of pokemon native to other regions. Like Crobatite. You won't find it  anywhere else, not even Kanto or Johto, its regional home. "

A sense of wild passion filled  Ash's heart. By now, he had forgotten that his mother wad dead.

" I am asking for the second time. What the hell is this ?" asked a bewildered Bob.

"Oh , this?" Neo casually pointed towards the four winged Dragon.

"You may call it, NEO - INFERNO!"

Bob then regained his arrogant demeanor.

" I am not afraid of this mutated lizard. Tyranitar, Dark Pulse!"

The cab stopped at the front of a large white and red house, behind it was a even larger grey colored building. Clearly a lab. 

"Come on in!" A man who seemed like an older version of Professor Cerise came out of the main gate. The three teens  watched the two brothers embrace and then the older one, dressed in a t shirt , shorts and lab coat came and kissed Chloe's forehead.

" So, how's my favorite girl?" 

"I'm good uncle Smith. Meet my boyfriend Goh!"

"Oh! Goh! It's you. I remember like yesterday, whenever I paid them a visit or they did to me when she was small, she would go onto ramble about a boy with 'skin like chocolate muffins'."

Goh and  Chloe was like tomato berries at the moment. Ash, Pikachu and Yamper snickered.

"And you are - ASH KETCHUM!" The man said while turning to Ash.

 Ash sighed. This would be a long day.

With the speed of four wings, Inferno easily dodged the flurry of dark circles coming his way.

"Inferno, Draco meteor!"

With the power of the new dragon typing, inferno formed a glowing orange meteor in his mouth before launching it into the air. It then then grew in size and began to launch more burning meteors towards the battle field. 

Tyranitar isn't fast enough to dodge, so he is most likely to destroy the meteors coming its way. Now just for Bob to make the mistake.

"Tyranitar, use dark pulse continuously to wipe out any of those pebbles coming your way!"

Alright, the fool did it.

After some snacks, the elder Cerise brother took them to his laboratory . It was larger from the inside, ancient illustrations depicting Arceus, the legendaries and the mythicals adorned the walls. At the back was a large curved desk with a  CPU and several monitors, clearly a control desk.

"So, now ,something special. "

Everyone gave attention to him as he continued, "So far , till this year, new trainers were just given Pokeballs and Pokedex and then holy Arceus. But now , we have started the three official Torrential Starters !"

"That's great !"

" And further more, I would like to give the first batch to you people ," he said while gesturing at Goh,Ash and Chloe.

"WHAT !"

" US "

" BUT-"

"No buts. I want the first batch to go to some experienced trainers , so we have a lucky start for the new era in Torrent region that  is about to  begin."

The three agreed silently. Although in the silence, was concealed their excitement. Smith went to the control desk and opened a drawer,  and took out three Pokeballs. He waked Back to the four.

"So first," the Professor threw the pokeball,"a grass type!"

Time to pack some punches.

"Inferno, Dragon Pulse !"

Inferno formed a tri-colored ball in its mouth and released a beam of three colors which takes the shape of a dragon.

 The beam collided with the green monster, stirring up smoke.  

"Inferno, flap the smoke away!"

The Charizard began to flap its four wings, driving the smoke away. As soon as the smoke cleared , Tyranitar looked up only to see the last four meteors heading its way.

The battle was over.
