9-Pieces Of A Puzzle
"Stop."
Izuku felt the familiar sense of his quirk temporarily erased. He opened his eyes, bright greenish blue orbs hidden under the orange spectacles focused on the voice.
"Eraserhead." He said with a grin.
"Why are you like this." Eraserhead furrowed his brows. He already knew the answer.
"Oh, y'know, nothing much, except the fucking quirk society." The hooded vigilante grinned, followed by the other two's silent nods.
Eraserhead sighed. He hates cases like this the most, to catch misguided children for their 'crimes'.
Shit, he closed his eyes.
He looked at Owl again, hoping it wasn't too late, and the child grinned.
"Looks like it's game over, Eraser." Fox saluted.
"I think we prefer you over the heroes, Eraserhead." Bat's eyes are full of mirth.
"You're not getting away." Eraserhead grumbled, readying his capture weapons.
But then Owl grabbed Fox and Bat's hands. Fox chucked something at his direction.
A smoke bomb, Eraserhead realized, shit, just as the bomb bursts.
He blinked once.
And time stopped.
The trio vanished without a trace.

He should've seen it.
The break in from the press wasn't a random one-timed thing.
It was planned.
If he'd bothered to look into it sooner, Hitoshi wouldn't have been hurt that badly.
He shouldn't have suffered those nasty injuries.
Eraserhead shouldn't have to bear that pain to protect a class he barely even know.
None of class 1A, hell not even Bakugou Katsuki, deserved to go through all that.
"You couldn't have foreseen it in the first place, Izuku." Himiko comforted him.
"I could. I should have." The redhead denied.
"You couldn't have known in the first place." She frowned. "Stop blaming yourself. You didn't do anything wrong." She added the 'wrong' to make sure he doesn't have an excuse to blame himself more.
"Now what do we say, let's give Eraserhead a visit and leave him some gifts, sound good?"
"...yeah, sound good." He smiled, eyes soft with a bright blue glow.
She grinned.
"Great! Now let's break the news to Dabi."

The first thing Aizawa Shouta saw when he woke up was white.
And then he saw something from the edge of his visible eye.
A gift?
Was it from one of his students? But they aren't allowed in here, same goes for the other pro heroes except Recovery Girl.
He'll have to take a look at it some time later.
_______________
'Ah, the problem children. I should've seen it coming.'
Shouta stared at the letter with an odd glint of fondness in his eye.
[Heyyy, uhhh, Eraserhead, hope you're ok and not in serious need of medical attention.
Owl's freaking out cuz he blames himself for your injuries, even though it's not. -Bat
Hey! It is my fault! I should've known the crusty piece of shit would make his move! The nerve of that guy!
Owl couldn't have seen that coming, so he takes no responsibilities. Simple as that. -Fox
Not you too!!
Anyway, back to the matter at hand:
We all hope you get well soon, and here's some Katsudon our mother made for you, so appreciate it.
If you waste it, we'll hunt you down to the netherlands. -Fox and Bat
They're joking. -Owl
We're not. - Fox and Bat.]
Those problem children really are troublesome. Shouta's bandaged lips quirked up a bit.

"So, any ideas for the upcoming Sports Festival?" Takeo asked as he took a bite out of the onigiri.
"I don't really know right now. If it was a year ago, i would've leaped at the chance to become a hero and prove to Katsuki that i'm not useless." Izuku said with a faraway expression.
"But now?" Hitoshi asked, despite already knowing the answer.
"We want to help the people Heroes never bothered to help. And to do that..." Himiko smiled bitterly.
"We either become heroes, or something else. As long as people are safe." Izuku finished.
Hitoshi looked at them with understanding, and gave a sympathetic nod.
Takeo raised a brow, but didn't ask them to elaborate.
"Good luck, i'm rooting for you guys." Takeo said with a huff.
The trio laughed.
Hopefully things don't take a turn for the worse this time 'round.
But then they just had to jinx it.
-------------------------------------------------------
"Now look closely, and try to predict my move. Don't try too far, it won't work in the long run." Shizuki stared Izuku down as they readied for a spar.
Without warning, Izuku bolts.
A hand blocked his fist, another blocked his leg. And before the red eyed man could take a hold of his leg and twist him down, Izuku retracted it and used his other leg to swipe the Vigilante's footing.
Unfortunately for Izuku, the man isn't a legend for nothing, as he used his hand to break the fall and use it as the spring to swipe the younger redhead's legs instead.
"Oof!"
Shizuki grinned as the kid rolled back in another stance.
Good. The opponent won't wait until you stand up to fight.
And he charged again.
Meanwhile, Dabi's training with Himiko on the same reaction spar, just a bit different.
While Himiko tries to work on her ranged combat, Dabi works on his hand-to-hand skills.
Hitoshi, meanwhile, was running around with a whole safe on his back, while simultaneously wearing weights on his legs.
It is safe to say the beach will never be same again, ever.
-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-
Red eyes looked at the local televisions again when he saw familiar images on the corner of his eye.
"[-some more villains are found tied up in alleys again, it's them again!]"
"[Some people have taken to calling their trio of saviours-]"
"Hey, have you head about the trio of vigilantes? The one in Musutafu!"
"I've heard they give a Pro Hero a boot when the found out he was abusing his status as a hero! The evidence was even shown in public!"
Chizome was taken aback. These kids seem to be better than he expected.
"Heroes these days are only for show, most of them didn't even care if we got hurt or die."
"Haven't you heard? These guys are the ones who did the heroes' dirty works. It's unacceptable! They should be credited properly!"
"Did you hear what people's been calling them lately?"
"It's such a great name, pretty accurate if you tell me!"
"They call them-"
Just in time, the street light flickered.
"The Guardians of Hell's Gate: Cerberus."

"That's a pretty shitty name if i do say so myself." Shizuki deadpan. "And i know it cuz i'm made up of the author's imagination."
"Also, huge thanks to these people on this list:
Is that everybody? I'd hate to miss someone!" Izuku announced. "Anyways, if you're tagged here, then you are being thanked by the author. They especially love the comment chain you've made on Chapter 3 (also sorry DuckyTin for waking you up if you're reading this at this time of day)."
"Also thanks to all the readers and anyone who's been this far into the story. We really appreciate the votes you've given us." Himiko grinned happily. "The author is really happy, even if they don't usually show it to others."
"Seriously, i see them laughing their ass off alone in their room. Hard to believe they're the same shy kid when it comes to interacting with new people." Dabi smirked.
"Dabi wouldn't have been saying that if it weren't for their low self esthshdbsksn-"
Well it's time to shut up now, bye!!
