For the most part this series is complete other than the last book, though it follows a different set of main characters it is best to read the whole series to know who the others are. This starts off with X-Men first class and is currently in what is planned to be the last book with Days of Future Past.

~Conflicting Powers- Book 1. Paiton was found on the streets while Charles and Erik were searching for mutants to help them stop Shaw. However, her powers are out of balance with each other and can cause disastrous results, or even death to her and those around her, if she cannot learn to control them. Their job now is to help Paiton and the other young mutants use their powers for good as well as stop Sebastian Shaw from starting WW III.

~The Rise of a New Team- Book 2. Paiton has finally returned to Charle's mansion, which has been turned into a school for mutants. There she finds Alex and his brother Scott, who she gets along well with, much to Alex's slight displeasure. A new threat has risen though and Paiton and Alex will have to work with the new team in order to stop it... Or they will all face the consequences.

~Stryker's Revenge- Book 3. Everyone thought it would be peaceful after Magneto was locked up but then Stryker made his reappearance and Logan is in search of his past more than being a real team member. Paiton has gone missing and to those who new Azazel, are concerned when a new mutant with similar looks to him shows up at the mansion. When they learn of what Stryker is doing however, the X-men will need to team up with an enemy or face losing those they care for.

~Last Stand- Book 4. Alex has been slowly losing his mind after Paiton's 'death'. The only thing keeping him sane is his son, Jay. But when Magneto starts acting up again the X-men are called to fight. Will Alex be able to work with his brother and the others on the team to stop Magneto from destroying the cure and waging war with the humans? And how will he react when they find out Paiton is alive?

~Wavering Future- Book 5. Nine years have past since the last battle with Magneto and as no new threats have popped up Paiton, Alex, and Jay have been able to act like a normal family... well a normal mutant family at least. New mutants have been showing up in waves despite the cure being available for them and Xavier's school has grown larger than ever. But during Jay's ninth birthday everything goes wrong. The mutant world is threatened to go extinct as their world begins crashing down around them. This is Jay's story of survival, trust, life, sacrifice, death, and hope. Will he be able to alter the future from the past with his friends or will they die trying?
