This is post the Force Awakens and consists of a bounty hunter turned Knight of Ren and a war between twin brothers, one fighting to stay good and the other fighting to turn away from the light. 

~Lose Control- Book 1. The day she lost her parents was one of grief and joy for Zeh Skurn. From then on she was both free from her Mother's horror of her power... but she also lost her father's love and protection. Of course she can't remember much of them now, not that she has time or the desire to with the field she works in. In fact, it was due to being a bounty hunter that got her tangled in the mess between the First Order and the Resistance. Now, captured by the Sith, Kylo Ren, she will have to choose which side she will finally join... and Skurn better pick right or her life will be over. Alder Solo, brother to Ben Solo, son of Leia and Han. He witnessed the massacre of the new order of Jedi, barely escaping with his own life as he fled. A coward, always the coward in the family, not like Ben had been. Alder couldn't even use the force, though his skill with a lightsaber was admirable. Now he has an opportunity to redeem himself and bring his brother back to the light, will he be able to accomplish his task and learn to accept his lack of the Force or will Kylo Ren destroy him completely? One thing is certain: The First Order has strength beyond that of the Resistance and with Zeh Skurn under their influence the Resistance needs Luke Skywalker found and Finn, Poe, and Rey must help Alder find his true path if they are to ever defeat Kylo Ren.

~Lost Hope- Book 2. A year has gone by since the First Order failed to get the map that would take them to Luke Skywalker. Kylo Ren has continued to train Zeh Skurn in the ways of the Sith, determined to get revenge on the Resistance and that scavenger Rey. The Knights of Ren have gathered at their base in preparation for the final strike that is to come once Skywalker is killed and Snoke's arrival is nearing. Both Kylo and Skurn are positive they will win this time. However, could they be underestimating the power of the light side? Rey is no longer just a scavenger. She has trained with Luke Skywalker to be a Jedi, and though not fully trained, is already powerful. Rey and her team of Poe, Finn, and BB-8 are determined to stop the Sith once and for all... for Alder' s sake. His parents mourn for him still but are strong, leading the Resistance tactically as they wait for another opportunity to strike at the First Order. This time, Kylo and his apprentice won't be getting away. But the dark side is stirring. Snoke's arrival bids more than his wrath for failure, it also brings a new face, or rather mask, to the Knights of Ren. Secrets that have stayed in the shadows will come to light with their master's arrival and ghosts from the past will keep appearing, warning and trying to guide those who are lost to bring them back to the light. Whether Snoke allows that or not isn't hard to tell, he will do anything to keep his prized warriors, even if that means killing them so the light side of the Force loses them as well. Powerful players have entered the scene and it is only a matter of time before chaos reins once more.

~Losing Order- Book 3. Kylo Ren is assumed dead by the First Order and Knights of Ren after the malfunction sent him and Zeh Skurn to the Hoth System. The two have been there for only a month but each day feels like a year as they struggle to find enough food to survive the cold, harsh, environment. Skurn has managed to hold onto life despite the odds and is finally well enough to travel, if they could find a way to get off the cold desolate world. Not only that, but the pull to the light seems to be the only thing that they haven't managed to escape from. Kylo and Skurn must decide who they are or to tear themselves apart. Meanwhile, Alder has managed to keep the Resistance going and has strengthened them with the help of his uncle, Luke Skywalker. However, he knows a storm is coming. The First Order will strike again and he would need to make sure his side was ready before that happened. But is his plans really what the Resistance wants? Or has Alder managed to fool his closest friends: Rey, Finn, and Poe into doing something they might regret. Will this spell the end of the Resistance and the First Order's victory, or will it give rise to a brand new rein?

I am also wondering if anyone is interested in a series following this one up. It wouldn't involve these characters but their relatives (like a next generation thing) and would probably only consist of one book.
