Chapter One

Dedication: LouisTwinklinson bc shes awesome and has amazing stories!

I really wanted to write this book because I thought it would be a change from what you see normally. There's a lot of CEO!Harry fics (not that there's anything wrong with them, I personally love them) but I just wanted to give some variety. Also wanted to see where I would personally go with this story.

Will be updated randomly.

CHAPTER 1

"Jennifer, I thought I told you to get these files to me yesterday." Louis shouted from his office, tossing the files he had been given onto his desk with a huff. Why were his employees so incompetent. Especially for simple measly tasks.

A mousy beta who went by the name of Jennifer instantly scurried inside the large office, eyes wide and quivered in her spot like a leaf.

"I'm so sorry sir, but I had some trouble getting the review back from Greg after he volunteered to help-"

The Omega held his hand up, making the poor beta squeak and clamp her mouth shut.

"Ms. Fritton, let me give you a piece of advice that I had learnt years ago." He started, slotting his fingers together and rested his elbows on the desk. His stare on the beta pinned her to her spot; nodding her head obediently.

For an Omega, she has never been more intimidated by an Alpha as much as she has been by her boss.

"Whenever you decide to recruit the help of someone else, friend or fellow employee, it is your responsibility, not Greg's, to make sure everything is done by the deadline. Next time, you better have the files on my desk three days before or you can consider handing your job to someone else more qualified." Louis lectured, watching as the Beta swallowed thickly as if fighting off her emotions.

He sighed, deciding to not let the poor girl suffer any more before waving her off.

"Go, I expect to see you bright and early tomorrow, Ms. Fritton." He dismissed her and the Beta scurried out as quick as she had entered. The Omega sighed, muttering curses under his breath when a voice spoke up.

"You're a right brute, you know."

Louis snapped his head up, spotting the alpha standing there who was leaning against the door frame and just rolled his eyes. It was no one of dire importance.

"Oh go suck a dick, Liam." He muttered and motioned for Liam to enter.

The Alpha chuckled and walked into the office, and slouched in the seat opposite the CEOmega.

"What do you want?" Louis sighed, leaning back against his large office chair. The chair was large enough to dwarf the 5'6" omega, but his attitude and personality made up for it a thousand times over.

"That is no way to talk to your best friend." Liam tutted. "But I was wondering if you saw that Alpha again? You know, the one who kept pleading for a date? Arthur?"

Louis grimaced. "Oh. Him." He said with distaste. "Let him take me for coffee, it didn't go further than that. He was too clingy and downright annoying. Honestly, there was more personality in the breadcrumbs on my napkin than he ever possessed."

The alpha belted out a booming laugh, head thrown back before he settleda few moments later. "Oh well, the next one I pick will be the one for you."

"And then they'll expect me to submit to them within the first 10 minutes of meeting. No thanks," Louis rolled his eyes, continuing his task on reading the finalization of signing with some technology company. He didn't need or want to be someone's bitch.

Ever since Louis presented as an Omega at 16, he swore he would never let an Alpha walk all over him and treat him like a sex toy or just something to knock up then ditch. He had seen it happen to his mother enough times to know how it can break an omega. So he worked hard at school and eventually graduated from Harvard at the top of his classes and started working at his Grandfather's music company EMPIRE MUSIC as his assistant.

Now at 24 years of age, Louis was one of the youngest billionaires in the world after he had inherited grandfather's company. He had a developed a cut throat attitude, and did not give two shits who you were, Alpha or not.

After a couple of moments, the Omega glanced up to look at Liam and raised a brow when he saw him already staring at him.

"Don't you have patients to tend to?" he questioned after he signed the papers before putting them to the side.

"I'm on break," The young cardiologist spoke with a grin, "Anyways, Zayn is nearly finished his photoshoot, should be done tomorrow morning... We were wondering if you wanted to join us for lunch tomorrow?" He asked as he leant back in his seat and propped his feet up on Louis' desk.

Louis cringed at the sight of Liam's boots on his pristine desk, using the back of his pen to nudge his feet.

The alpha got the message, removing his feet. Louis ignored the slight scuff marks left behind.

Louis sighed. "Ah, I'll see, I have a meeting with Styles Tech tomorrow." He said as he thought over his schedule.

"Oh, that's exciting. I heard Desmond Styles is developing a new version of the Style Scope." Liam spoke, voice laced with hints of enthusiasm.

Liam had been one of the first buyers of the very first prototype of the Style Scope, a device that acted as a holographic mobile projected from a adjustable ring. It had the reduced the risk of radiation by more than 47% compared to other mobile companies, and effectively climbed its way to the number 1 most wanted and safest piece of technology in their generation.

Louis cracked an amused smile at the alpha, who despite his rugged and tough, mature doctor looking exterior, acted more like an excited pup at the best of times. "Yes, well, I have a meeting with them to talk about partnering up our companies."

The two chatted on for another twenty minutes before they were rudely interrupted by a knock on the door, Jennifer meekly peaking her head through the slight opening she made.

"Mr. Tomlinson? Your 2 o'clock is here." She said nervously, glancing at the Alpha in the room and nodded her head in respect before looking at her boss.

The CEOmega flitted a glance to the clock on his wall, sighing.

"Thank you Jennifer." He said dismissing her, schooling his face to his no-nonsense-I'm-the-fucking-boss look. As soon as she left, Louis turned to his best friend. "Sorry, Li. Looks like we're gonna have to cut this chat short." He said, standing up with Liam and fixed the tailored suit jacket of invisible crinkles.

Liam chuckled as the two walked to the door, opening it and let the Omega walk out first.

"Such a gentleman." Louis said teasingly as he swaggered out like he owned the place (He did own the place).

"I'll see you later, Lou. Have fun dealing with over-confident wannabes." Liam pulled the shorter lad into a hug which was easily reciprocated, the Omega letting out a laugh.

"And you have fun saving lives and telling idiots their lifestyles aren't healthy." Louis spoke once they pulled away, waving goodbye as his friend went to the elevator and sighed once he was gone.

Giving himself one last tidy up-glancing at his reflection through the pristine marble and fixing his jacket, he strutted down the hallway, passed the secretary's desk and bustling employees; loving the feeling of everyone's eyes on him.

Mixtures of admiration, fear and even hints of lust were present as the most powerful Omega in their hemisphere graced them with his presence.
