Sarah's Pov:

It was weekend so I decided to go to my hometown. 

I packed my luggage a bit of it that i needed and took the first bus in the morning to reach my hometown.

It has been so long when i last saw my parents. 

I guess a couple of months ago. They have always been complaining to me about not seeing them much often. 

And they are pretty much right in their own way as, Being a doctor I'm sometimes busy.

Well yeah... i admit not sometimes but 'always'. But i decided to see them today and by not informing them. I want to give them a surprise.

My home town is about one and half hour distance from the city. 
 I reached there at about 9 am in the morning. 

"huff... i made it pretty early here" I held my luggage bag and got off the bus.

Then i head straight towards my house which is was a 10 minutes walk from the bus station.

I knocked at the door and to my surprise my father opened the door. He is usually working in our store which is also near to our house. 

It is a small store but everyone in the hometown comes there. Its small, nice and well contains every daily necessary. 

"Hello Paa, Maa. I am back!" I get inside the house and greet them both.
of course, they were surprised to see me and I accomplished my mission in making them.

"oh what a surprise Sarah! its so nice to see you back home" MY home hurriedly came over to me and hugged me in a tight embrace. 

"hehe same here Maa" i replied.
"for how many days are you staying this time" she asked me with sparkling eyes waiting for my response.

"um...for 2 days i guess". I told her and she was kind of looking disappointing but i gave her some gifts and then her mood was lightened up.
  
we ate lunch together and i was helping my mom in the kitchen when our front door got a knock at it and it was startling. 

My father goes to check and found somebody told him that our store was robbed by some robbers and they took the money from the cashier. 

Both my mother and father were speechless at this time after hearing this news. I got panicked too. But tried to calm my father and mother. 

"what are we gonna do now, Lilly? we are ruined!" my father asked my mother in a very sad and panicking tone.

"how am i suppose to know...i don't know anything...oh God" my mother replied to my father Richard.

"D-Don't worry...we will make do something...im sure" i tried to console them and calm them down. When deep down i was startled by all this too. 

After me, our store was only source of income. 
 

It was evening now and we all did our dinner in silence, no one uttering a word or two. That's when i tried to break the silence.

"My hospital just gave me a bonus I am sure it will be enough with my salary until we can reshape our store" my father and mother just nodded and gave me a smile.

It was my last day at my hometown i re-sure my parents and and hugged them. after that I headed towards the bus station and came to the city back again. I was tired of traveling and quickly entered my small apartment and laying on my bed thinking about what happened in my hometown.

And sleep took over me. In the morning, I wake up with the heavy head. I looked at my phone and read the first notification that appeared on my phone screen.
