Hayden

Hayden

I stood in the hallway of Weston university, waiting for my friend. Jayden smiled as he stepped out of his classroom. "So, any hot girls in your classes?"
"Not really," I answered. Even though I was a workaholic, I hadn't enjoyed school at all. It had been a long day, and it was far from over. I was glad that Jayden and I were going to the same school though. "But I am stuck next to this total nerd in one of my classes." I ranted to my best friend.
"Sucks to be you, dude." Jayden laughed. I couldn't help but smile. He had a very positive energy around him, and that was one of the reasons I liked to be around him.
"Yeah." I smirked, "bet there are some ladies in the parking lot though."
"Let's go," Jayden grinned. "After all who wouldn't fall for you."
Okay, so you may be a little confused. Let me back up.
I am Hayden Woods, son of Freya and Jason Woods. I am the son of the richest people, yeah yeah, I'm a big deal. My parents run a big company, Woods Designs. It's a fashion company. Yeah well enough about that. More about me, I'm a tall, six foot, strong, good looking male. I have longer black hair, that is well kept, and silky smooth. It compliments my peach complexion perfectly. I'm a player and I know it, but I like to have fun while I can.
On our way to the parking lot, we run into our third member. Yeah, we're a group of three.
"Yo Nick!" Jayden calls.
"Hey guys!" Nick smiled. He wasn't much like us, but we still got along very well. Nick, who's real name is Nikolaev, is a skinny guy with glowing bronze skin and blue-black hair. He is the only one of us that has a girlfriend. They have been together for three years now.
"Hey dudes." Jayden said, "look at the nerd in the corner over there." He pointed at a girl; who's nose was stuck in a book.
"What a loser." I nodded.
Nick glanced over, "okay good, you aren't talking about my sister."
Jayden smirked, his dark brown eyes twinkling. "I see a couple cute blondes, you in?"
"Nah dude," I shook my head.
"What?!" Jayden ran his hand through his dirty blonde hair.
"I need to head to the office." I told him before walking over to my Lamborghini. "See you later losers!" I called as I started my car.
"Bye!" Jayden called after me as Nick yelled, "See you, bro!"
I drove for about fifteen minutes before I got to the office. I was greeted by our secretary, Stacy. "Good afternoon sir, your mother and father are here still." She winked, trying to be seductive.
"Thanks Stacy." I nodded before heading towards my parents office, gagging internally.
"Hello baby," my mom smiled. "How was your day?"
"It was great mom." I smiled.
"That's great to hear, sport." My dad smiled.
My parents aren't too bad looking, after all I got these looks somewhere.
I got my mom's dark hair and sparkling green eyes, but not her olive skin. I inherited my peach complexion from my dad, but not his mocha eyes or his mouse brown hair.
My mom walked up to me, giving me a hug, I had to stoop a little since she's only 5' 6". My dad patted my back with no trouble since I'm only an inch taller.
"I'm going to go to my work." I smiled at them. I made my way to my office across the hallway. Sitting down behind my mahogany desk, I started looking through the files on my desk.
A shadow fell across my desk, causing me to look up.
"Come join your mother and I for dinner." My dad smiled.
I glanced at the clock, seeing I'd been working for four hours. "Ok," I nodded.
Leaving the building, I grabbed my keys and asked, "Where are we going?"
"I was thinking of Italian," My mom suggested.
"I'll meet you at the restaurant," I nodded getting into my car.
Once at the restaurant, we placed our orders and spoke for most of the dinner.
"Well son, something has recently come up for another company, one that is often helping ours." My dad said. "We are thinking of offering some help, but we aren't sure what the price will be in return."
"Ok dad," I nodded, listening carefully. "Which company?"
"David's incorporated." My dad stated.
"Alright, that's enough about work you two." Mom chided. "When are you thinking of settling down sweetheart? You know we have decided that before we hand over the company, you have to be in a more stable relationship, so it looks good."
I rolled my eyes, although my mom has a point. She's been after me for a while since I am a well-known player. I loved her though and she's right. People would trust me more if I was it a stable relationship.
"I don't know mom." I said. "The right one hasn't come yet."
"Well maybe you're looking too hard." Said my dad.
"Just think about it, sweetie." Mom smiled as dad paid our bill.
After dinner with my parents, I made my way back to my penthouse.
I sighed, as much as I love this place, it was very cold and empty. It had five bedrooms, four more than it needed. I also had two other rooms, one that stood empty, the other is where I headed.
I have a secret, nobody, not even Jayden or Nick know. I opened the door to this room, smiling at the contents. In one corner stood a grand piano. Two guitars were hung carefully on one wall. There was a bookcase standing against another. It held many music books. I moved to my favourite area of the room, my drum-set. Picking up my sticks, let the rhythm flow through me. I let the beat take me away. When I played, I felt at peace.
I looked at the clock, seeing it was late. Getting up, I put my sticks away. Turning off the light, I closed and locked the door before heading to my room. Getting changed, I crawled into bed, letting sleep take over.
