Levi's cellphone rang, making him excuse himself from his companions.
Picking up, he places his phone near his ear.
"Hello?"
"Sir."
Levi widened his eyes a sudden rush of chill went down his spine. 'Y/N's guard?'
"Ms. L/N seems to be inside the house far too long than we expected..."
"What? Oi, get her out of there or I'm firing you all."
"Mr. Ackerman..."
"Did I fucking stutter?" His voice got louder.
From the other line, the guard gulped before clearing his throat.
"But.. we may get issued with illegal trespassing."
"Oh for fucks sake- I'm heading there now. You all keep an eye on the house and send me the address." He ran his fingers through his hair.
"Yes sir."
Levi quickly ended the call before worry began to bubble inside him.
"Aghh. I shouldn't have let her out." He mutters, voice laced with regret.
The other two adults noticed and began to get concerned.
"Hey shorty! You okay?"
"Screw off four eyes. I need to leave." He grumbles.
-
Levi is currently driving recklessly.
Out of pure luck, he was on his fastest car in his garage and he thanked lady luck for it.
The ravenette was disappointed of himself yet again as the same thing is slowly happening once more.
Clenching his teeth, he gripped the wheel tightly before taking his last sharp turn.
Seeing a familiar car parked in front of a house, he quickened his vehicle's pace.
Roughly pressing his foot on the brake, he tries to calm himself and opened the car door as guards immediately escorted him.
"Is this the house." He almost growled, glaring inensely at the house in front of him.
"Yes sir."
Levi pursed his lips.
He doesn't even know who or what was inside and who you were visiting.
And honestly, he was pissed at himself for letting you out of the house now.
Most especially when you're carrying his child.
Balling his hands into fists, his eyes sharpened as the bangs of his hair created a deep shade on his eyes.
"We're breaking in."
Hesitant, the head guard nods making the others follow.
'Let's kill this fucking scum.'
-
"What?! Why did you break in?! Levi you idiot!"
"I-I misunderstood! You were taking too long!"
A woman laughed. "Well if this isn't interesting!"
Your mom that is.
In the living room were there a bunch of embarassed guards while your mother sat with an amused and wide smile.
Levi turned to your mother before bowing in a perfect 90° angle.
"I deeply apologize for trespassing your home Mrs. L/N!" Levi says, flustered.
Your mother laughed, wheezing. "Oh my, it's alright dear!"
Your boyfriend straightened his posture before awkwardly walking towards you.
"Why didn't you tell me you'd visit your mom?" He half whispered and yelled.
You giggled. "Are you embarassed~?"
"Hell, more than that.." He groaned.
You kissed his cheek before smiling and held his hand. "I'm sorry I didn't told you~"
He sighs. "I was worried as fuck Y/N... You looked so hesitant and nervous last time I saw you.."
"That's because I am! My mother is an extremely talkative person and she literally doesn't know when to stop- I swear!" You partly exaggerated.
"Don't pretend as if I'm not here kiddos!"
You continued, ignoring her while Levi continued to look confused.
"Most especially when we publicize about our relationship. Did you know how many times she'd call and text me each day?! Oh gosh.."
Your mother stood up before resting both of her hands on your shoulders from behind.
"Yes!! Darling why didn't you told me right away you're dating the Levi Ackerman." She pouts.
Clearly, your mom was childlish and seems to be playful.
You only sweatdropped. "Cause I know how you'll talk non-stop.."
She laughed only waving her hand off in dismissal before her attention turned to the raven-haired CEO.
'Oh brother..' You deadpanned as your mother eyed Levi as if judging him.
The ravenette stood straight, making sure not to mess up his first impression more.
"So this is what you look like in person..." Your mother says, her hand caressing her chin.
She smiled widely. "I approve!" Then laughing.
"Oh what did I ever do to deserve a blessing like you Y/N." Your mother squishes your cheeks.
"M-mom.." Now it was your turn to be embarassed.
Levi chuckles making you blush more.
Your mother noticed so she smirks before whispering in your ear. "So when is your wedding~?"
"Mom!!" You groaned, your face going into a deeper shade of red.
"I'm just kidding love! Besides, we shouldn't tolerate a pregnant woman's feelings."
She laughed delightfully before hitting your hips with hers playfully.
"Anyways, I'll go get snacks. I'm sure I have more leftover sandwiches for the guards~" She says before leaving the room to the kitchen.
"Guess I was worrying over nothing." He scratches his neck.
"Wah~ Aren't you annoyed by her though? Not that I am though but I just want to make sure.."
"Well I have Aunt Antoinette."
You chuckled. "Yeah but she's cooler."
"Did you just talked back behind your mother like that?"
"What? No~" You giggled, slightly sticking out your tongue.
"You playful brat." Levi smiles, lovestrucked.
-
After giving the bodyguards snacks, they waited outside for a private family talk while the three of you sat at the dining room.
"I'm sitting with my rich and famous son-in-law!" Your mother squealed.
Cringing out of disgust you stared at her unamused. "Mom... please stop."
Levi only smiled, completely out of character, but he's facing your mom so it's definitely an exception.
Usually, he would be annoyed at anyone who defines him with what he has.
Such as money, rank in the business world and popularity.
Though he never expected that he'd actually be proud of it since your mother is interested in it, earning him an easy thumbs up.
"Oh! Excuse my manners, my name is Kazuto Yukki." She smiles.
(A/N: supposed to be M/N but- SAO anyone?)
Upon hearing her last name, Levi's expression turned to a confused one.
You noticed and lightly laughed. "Ah, my mom's remarried."
Surprised, he contained it and wanted to hear the full story of your family from you later.
"I see. I apologize for mistaking your last name earlier Mrs. Kazuto." He slightly bowed his head.
Your mother waved her hand. "It's not a big deal at all! So, tell me more about yourself. Even though you are already famous." She shrugs off the last part.
(A/N: I was supposed to add Levi's nationality but I'm not sure if he really is Jewish and/or German ;-;)
"Levi Ackerman, 24 years old. I am the founder and current CEO of an international company called the 'Ackerman Industries' which develops and manufactures advanced weapons and military technologies."
Amazed, your mother's eyes twinkled in delight as she clapped.
Levi smirks silently out of pride.
You scoffed making him glare at you to which you glared back.
"Impressive! Oh what ever did I do in my past life to gain a lucky and wonderful girl like my daughter." She began to be emotional as she rests her hand on top of her chest.
"Seriously..?"
Levi genuinely smiled more. "I agree with you Mrs. Kazuto.. Y/N is someone I want to treasure and spend my whole life with. I.. can't seem to imagine one without her.."
Hearing those words, your heart skipped a beat wondering how this man couldn't get embarassed of what he says.
Your mother squealed (like a dying whale to you) as she became twice as happy.
Then your mother happily gave you both parenting advices and experienced talk about handling babies.
As the family talk continued, it sadly has to stop as it's almost dawn and traffic will be hard.
Planning to ask your mother something, Levi told you to head on inside the car.
"That's fine. But please don't embarass me even longer mom.." You replied him before turning to give a look to your mom.
"Since when did I dear?" She laughed lightly.
Groaning, you made your way inside the car first.
Your mom then turned to your lover as she crosses her arms with a smile.
"So what can I do for you hun?"
Levi wore a serious expression.
"Earlier at the table when you asked if I'm asking you to approve our marriage- I suppose I need to be straightforward and ask if... it'd be alright to engage your daughter? If she says yes, I plan to have the marriage a few months or years after our baby is born"
Your mother's eyes happily twinkled.
"Is that even a question? Of course!" She giggles.
Levi contains his smile before slightly bowing. "Thank you Mrs. Kazuto. I'll make sure your daughter is happy and safe with me."
-
"So what was that about?"
You and Levi were in his car while his guards were at the separate one or the one you used to get there before.
Driving back to his residence, Levi knew it would be time to ask about your family.
"Nothing really. I just wanted to ask a few details about you."
You scoffed jokingly. "Sure~"
Levi only chuckles as he stole a glance and pinched your cheek.
"Ow! Hey!"
"That's what you get for not telling me about your parents."
You pouted. "Well you never asked."
"I-- I'll pretend I didn't hear that." He deadpanned making you smirk out of victory.
"So mind telling me about them now?" Levi asks.
"Sure. It's about time you know. It's a bit complicated but I'll try to keep it short."
Levi nods as he waits for you to continue.
"Apparently my parents lost their romantic connection. It was probably because of the lack of time and stress from work, which led to many arguements. Then suddendly, my mom wanted a divorce since she wants to remarry someone. My dad agreed and they did. Me and B/N didn't want to be separated from each other so my parents came to terms to leave us with my dad's mom since my mom's died now. My grandma and mom don't have bad blood with each other so it made the situation easier. And well, my dad left the country while my mom remarried but they still support us financially and if lucky, emotionally."
"So even if your father left the country you both didn't live with your mother?"
"That's another thing. My brother was still young back then so he never understood much, especially how and what to feel about it. So he grew up, disliking our mother's husband."
"Does the husband have a bad behaviour?"
"Oh no, it's not like that at all! In fact, I'm cool with him since he's a nice and caring man."
"I see..."
That was until Levi noticed you kept carressing your small baby bump.
"So, how are you and our baby feeling?"
Our.
For some reason, that made your heart flutter happily.
You smiled before looked down to your hand that caraessed your small baby bump. "Aw~ See? Your father does care for you."
Levi glanced and chuckles, finding your actions adorable.
You continued, "So when you leave my womb, don't be scared of papa. He's really soft and sweet in the inside. Don't let others or his face tell you otherwise."
He laughs. "Do I really look that scary?"
"Well you're handsome and hot." You pointed out.
"Careful dear, you might fall even harder for me." He smirks, reaching out for your hand and kissed the back of your palm as you blushed.
