You stuck out your tounge while your dog playfully looked at you struggling.

You worked hard as did Levi.

For two hours, you focused your attention solely on your work and finally, it has been finished.

"Done!" You excitedly shouted.

You showed it to Levi, proudly grinning wide.

"Look Levi! Ta da~ I made a mini-me. And in this way, you'd feel like I'm right beside you." You chirped.

You made a stuff toy out of the kit with supplies.

It was a plushie with E/C buttons as it's eyes. It has H/C yarn as it's hair and a cute dress. The color of it's skin tone was S/C.

The plushy resembled you.

(A/N: The plushy looks like the Gray-sama plushies Juvia make from Fairy Tail. Btw I don't actually know when a plushy like that would be finished and how it's made, probably with a  sewing machine, but who cares it's for the fanfic ya'll :P )

"Is that... you?" He held it suprised.

"Me as a stuff toy that's right."

"I didn't know you could sew this well." He praises you while playing with the plushy's cute little arms.

"It was a little long since I made one. But hey! I managed to pull it off. Am I not amazing?" You giggled.

Levi pauses and looked at you softening his eyes.

"Yeah... you are." He mumbled.

"Bark Bark!"

You turned to your dog and crouched to it.

"Tell me when you're done, I need to feed Buddy." You stand up looking at him.

"You can go now, I'll catch up with you. Someone will assist you so you have nothing to worry."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. I'll have them prepare dog food and water for Buddy too." He says pulling out his phone.

"Thanks again Levi." You smiled.

"Your welcome."

'Besides, you have no idea how you've helped me more than I did to you...' He thought to himself looking at the plushy you have.

He chatted a person on his phone and ended it.

"I'll have Gunther accompany you. Is that alright?"

"Yes, it's fine."

After a few minutes, a knock was heard which you skipped to the door, opening it.

"Y/N. I'll be escorting you to our cafeteria." Gunther smiled.

"Hey Gunther! Levi, I'll get going now. Don't push yourself too much on work!"

You closed the door leaving Levi alone.

As his eyes left the door, it then landed on the plushy that was on his hand.

He felt special with it. Just knowing that you spend your time making something difficult just for him made him feel one of a kind. Especially that you were the one who made it.

He pulled out your handkerchief and smelled it one more time already missing you.

Smiling, he brought himself back to work finishing it quickly to see you early.

Half way there, you two tumbled upon someone.

"Mr. President! Good Afternoon." Gunther suddenly bowed in front of a tall and blonde man.

You turned your head and saw Erwin, the Company's President in front of you both.

"Good afternoon sir." You also bowed.

"Greetings to you both. And Y/N, you can call me Erwin."

You smiled and nodded.

"What brings you here sir?"

"I just wanted to check on our personal guest Levi brought. How are you?" He says gesturing it to you.

"I'm doing great! The building looks magnificent and huge. How about you Erwin?"

"Thank you for asking, I finished my lunch."

"That's good to hear. By the way, I heard you and Levi are childhood friends?"

"Yes we are. I was 16 back then and he was 15. Hanji was about the same of our age "

"Then you have known each other for years! Impressive." You grinned.

"Correct. But it seems like Levi is closer to you than me or Hanji."

"Haha, nahhh, not really... but I know Levi has secrets he never shared me about that you two know!"

"Most likely... Y/N, I have a peciular question to ask you."

"Shoot." You smiled.

"Do you have feelings for Levi?" He whispered enough for Gunther and you to hear.

You felt your heartbeat quicken while your stomach did flips as you had trouble speaking feeling blood rush to your cheeks. while Gunther choked on his own saliva.

"I'm sorry. I should have given you a heads up." He says tucking his hands on his pockets.

"N-no, that was enough! But, we're just friends! So don't get the wrong idea!" You said as you digged your face to both palm of your hands.

"But 'just friends' don't look at each other like that."

"What?" You moved your face away from your hands.

"Nothing... I mean- It's just that, for years I've known Levi and his past, I have never saw the storm and chaos in his eyes calm down.. until you showed up." He smiled sincerely.

You flsuhed red thinking what Erwin said. Levi said you were important to him, could it be that this is what he meant?

"I'm sorry. I must have gotten you speechless. Anyways, who's the dog here? I'm a bit of a dog enthusiast myself."

He crouched down to your dog and petted him which Buddy accepted eagerly sniffing him to remember his scent.

"You are?"

"I am."

"His name is Buddy, a D/B. He's been with me for a long time. Basically a bestfriend to me. He have protected me a lot too. But I won't say what happened considering the face you might make after I say what my dog did to my past suspects."

"Face?"

"Yeah. Levi did a scared and an unbelievable face once I told him what happened."

"Well, you three should get yourself a meal."

"Right. See you around Erwin."

"Farewell."

To the cafeteria

Once more, people were whispering, murmuring and eyeing on you since the fact that Levi invited you as a guest spreaded wild fire on one day.

Other couldn't help and get close to you and pet your dog since they were happy to see a living creature besides human inside their hell hole.

"Y/N. Stay here for a while, I'll go check the room if there is anything wrong. Ok?"

"Room? It's fine if I stay outside here."

"Mr. Ackerman didn't want anyone to disturb you eating or interact with Buddy. He also wanted to insure you that you won't be recieving any ordinary meal from the cafeteria regular foods. He even hired a chef to cook yoir favorites."

"Seriously?"

"Seriously. Anyways, just stay right there and don't move."

You nodded in agreement as Gunther went inside the room.

You made sure to leash Buddy since there were foods everywhere just in case.

Buddy decided to roam to the limits of his leash and sniff people.

You would say hi to them as they did back on you, the others would ignore, and most would interact with Buddy and you.

Not until a certain person was pissed off seeing a dog sniffing his shoes.

"OI! Could you at least keep your dog somewhere else? I heard this was supposed to be a ni animal zone! Especially inside the cafeteria."

He stepped forward to you causing Buddy to try and attack which you A. / B.

A. - Small Dog
-immediately scooped him up.

B. - Big Dog
-immediately grabbed his collar and tie him on something far from the man.

"Bark Bark!"

"I'm sorry if my dog pissed you of.." You hung your head down low.

"Tch! It'll be more than saying sorry girl!"

A commotion started to occur.

Not knowing you were close with Levi, he grabbed someone's tray and threw it at you.

You hadn't have time to react or dodge making the food land on your clothes.

There were stains of porridge and salad on your clothes while noodles were on your hair making you look horrible.

"Bark!!" Your dog desperately tried to reach out for you while yanking on his leash not working.

"You think you could just break the rules in here?! You disgusting bitch!"

"S-sir I really am sorry.." You shaked.

People were looking at you in sympathy but no one helped. Until someone approached you.

"Hey! The girl says she's sorry so leave her alone!" Someone with brown hair and emerald eyes shouted back

"And who are you to intervene? This is our situation here so get out wannabe! And you all! Don't try to get included in this or else I'll also make you feel pain!"

The man who hurted you pushed the male into the ground hurting his back.

"And you..." He growled at you.

He grabbed you by the neck lifting you up on the air.

He was clearly choking you making you struggle to breath.

"Y/N, I'm sorry I was late-" The door opened revealing Gunther who dropped the smile and turned to a terrified look.

He was scared to the fact to what the outcome would be if his boss sees you in a state like this. He'd go thrice as angry.

"Sir! Please let go of the girl." He says strictly.

"Psh! As if! Don't you know how much I hate furry and annoying monsters like those?!" He says grasping you harder.

This time, you couldn't choke out the words you wanted to say.

You were left in a desperate situation where you would do anything to breathe. You felt beig squeezed as your eyes started to swell.

' help..' , You felt your eyes started to grow heavy as a desperate Gunther and frustrated man kept on bickering.

Levi entered the cafeteria grounds to see a small crowd cricling around something.

He sighed in annoyance and disappointment hoping Y/N haven't see this.

As he went nearer to the crowd, a path was made as his employees bowed.

Once his eyes laid on a strangled H/C girl who was desperately choking out air.

Stepping a bit closer, the girl was you.

He felt anger in him boil through his vines.

Gunther saw Levi in the crowd watching him shout insolent and offensive words to you. Such as a"Fucking bitch!"

Suddendly, he appeared behind the suspect and placed his hand on his shoulder making the man flinch.

The man turned around to see his boss glaring at him.

He gulped down big, shivering.

Levi gave him eyes that could just bore your assaulter's eyes. The man felt being sunken to the floor by a huge hole just by locking his eyes on Levi's.

The man turned his head and unstraggled you seeing his boss towering him.

"Boss!" He bowed.

But Levi was having none of it, he kicked him on the chest making the man stumble back.

Levi tucked his hands on his pockets and looked at him mad with dark eyes.

Thump.

His foot met the person's face. Shaking, the man crawled backwards in embrassment and fear.

"Who's the shit who gave you the fucking permission to hurt her?" Levi growled.

The crowd witnessed in fear seeing their boss get angry over someone who hurt you. That wasn't enough for him though, targeting the man's crotch, the raven-haired kicked it hard making his victim yelp.

Once he was satisfied, he approached you, crouching.

"Y/N? Are you alright?" He darasticly changed the tone of his voice, afraid his words may break your weak state.

He looked at you worried seeing you shaking from trauma.

He saw how food were on you knowing that the man threw you a tray filled with it. Your breathing was haggard and uneven.

He clenched his fist seeing your teary eyes.

"L-levi..." You managed to give out words.

You looked down at your lap in embarassment.

"Shh... don't cry Y/N. I don't want to see you cry."

He hugged you and soothed your back and petted your head.

"Gunther. Settle this problem. And get the dog to a place where he'll get less human contact. Make sure you'll put him to sleep. He won't calm down if Y/N won't make him. I'm taking a day off."

"Yes sir."

"And you all!" Levi turned his attention to his clients, "Finish your fucking lunch and get back to work. No shit happened here." He hissed harshly. Quickly, everyone agreed and nodded their heads not able to look at their boss' eyes.

You two were on the couch inside Levi's office after you took a bath and ate lunch.

The silence you both brought wasn't awkward at all, you both were comfortable with the silence.

Knowing that it doesn't really mean filling every space with words.

As Levi stole a glance, he started to break the silence.

"Y/N. Are you alright?"

"Yes, thanks to you though." You smiled.

"Are you sure?"

The thought of you being choked earlier crossed his mind causing him to clench his hands in guilt and annoyance.

You saw Levi hovering his eyes with locks of his hair and his clenched hands.

You moved your hands and placed it on top of his making him jump slightly and look at you who was smiling.

"You don't need to fuss about what happened earlier Levi. Important thing is that he's out from sight and that I'm still here." You purely smiled.

"But-"

"Anyways! Where's Buddy?"

He sighed as you changed the topic.

He knew how big your heart was to the point you forgave and accept others who aren't even worth of forgiveness and acceptance from one.

"I apologize in advance but we locked him in a room alone... it might affect him poorly but I don't want to create the problem worser... especially if your dog might kill someone.."

"True. But can you take me to him? I'll make him calm down."

"I'm sure you can. Follow me."

After you took Buddy out, Levi escorted you out his building and bring you back to home.

While in the van, he decided to apologize you once more for not protecting you earlier from assaults and embarassment.

"I truly apologize again for what happened today Y/N. It was dense of me to leave you without notice." He says as his blood boiled remembering what happened earlier.

"It's fine! Don't call yourself an idiot either. It was dumb of me to let Buddy interact with people." You waved both of your hands.

"Don't call yourself that Y/N."

You laughed and shrugged letting a sweat drop.

You then had the urge of wanting Levi to come with you back home. You weren't sure if you can handle the streets alone today after that incident.

After a while of debating and putting up courage, you then continued.

"Hey Levi, can you drop me home?" You shyly asked.

"Sure."

And at that moment, Levi wished for a traffic.

"Sir, Miss Y/N,  I'm sorry to interrupt but there seems to be traffic."

"I see." Levi shortly answered even though in the inside he was slightly happy knowing that he'd spend more time with you.

"Well, looks like I'm stuck with you for a while! Now, let's play 21 questions!"

For sure, you were exhausted from what today has to offer. So you decided to lay your head on his shoulder and take a nap for a while.

"You don't mind do you?" You asked him feeling your eyes droop.

"I don't. You need to rest anyways. I'll wake you up as soon as we arrived."

"Thanks.. Levi.."

After an hour talking and a long day, it was no surprise that you'd be in deep sleep.

Dugdug. Dugdug.

His abnormal heartbeat began once more knowing that you were snuggling to sleep on his shoulder.

You even hugged his arm making you look adorable.

You unconsciencely moved even closer to Levi for body warmth since you were cold.

He adjusted his neck tie with his other free arm and cleared his throat.

Levi looked outtside the window trying to distract himself. However, he couldn't control his urge to look at you especially when your face looked more angelic.

He took note how long your eyelashes really were and the way your thin lips pouted while your other cheek squished on Levi's shoulder.

But now, he couldn't help but wonder how your cheeks really looks so squishable. He wanted to poke it.

Raising his arm hesitantly, he moved it to your face only backing it up and land it to his face only realizing how embarassing and creepy it was for him to do that especially to her.

"She's so fucking adorable what the fuck." He mumbled in his breath.

By the time the van arrived, he woke you up and escorted you back to your house.

Greeted by your family, he had a small talk with your Grandmother and brother outside with you.

"Pardon to interrupt our talk but I think I should get going now." Levi looked down at his watch.

"Ah, yes! You are a busy young man Levi. Well, farewell now." You Grandmother smiled.

He nodded then looked at you.

"Will you be alright?" He asked you still worried.

"Don't make a fuss about Levi. I'm fine now thanks to you. You should go now though." You smiled.

"Right. Thank you for your time."

"Be careful Levi."

"You too cupcake." He gave you a small smile as you ruffled your hair.

You looked at him astonised as he went back inside the van and looked at you one last time.

Blood rushing to your cheeks, remembering what he called you earlier.

Cupcake

You looked down at the ground embarassed while playing with your hair.

It was a nice nickname..
