✒ {Roleplay Guide #2} Chapter One: The Naming
You click on the read button of that Warriors roleplay, and read through the rules. You get super excited when you get to the form. You resort to becoming a long-term member as a kit.
As you prepare to fill out the form in the comment section, you realize you don't have a name for your character.
Hey, Clan--it's Shadow and here, we're gonna talk about OC prefix names for your kit character.
Here's the real issue: there are too many prefixes to choose from. Comment down below if you agree with this.
It's just a plain fact! You read through lists online, see allegiance pages, but it's a overload. Name generators...eh. Sometimes the product doesn't make much sense.
Tip 1: What's the personality of your OC? If you want a cute little kit, try something like Berrykit. Cherrykit and Lilykit also sound adorable and gentle. Did you find the common part in their names?
Yup, they all have a "y".
If you want the kit to be mean, try Darkkit or Clawkit. If you want them to be talkative, Loudkit or Heavykit are good possibilities.
Tip 2: Do you see any queens in the role play who are expecting? Cool! Read through the comments and see what major event is going on right now. Thunderstorm? How about Stormkit? Is the clan going through a tough time? Maybe you could be Hopekit. Try and come up with a name that relates to the Clan event.
Tip 3: What's their backstory? Try a name that's based off of the clan life. What do they love? If they like to play a lot, Runningkit? Have the name resemble their interests.
Tip 4: Do you have a type of cat that you like the appearance of? Firekit for an orange pelt, or Dapplekit for a dappled cat.
Tip 5: Did you notice a death in the clan? Find out the cat's name and name your kit the same prefix...or suffix. For example, if a cat named Mintnose has passed away, you could be named Mintkit.
