While it is good to show originality, do not overdo it. Names such as Cookieshine is virtually unrealistic for the cats - they have no idea what a "cookie" is.

The most common unrealistic names I've seen would be Clans or cats named after gemstones. Gemstones? Are you serious? The cats do not know what a gem is! Do not name anything after gems like crystal...

Never use a human (or rather Twoleg) term in the warriors world. It is both unrealistic and utterly ridiculous. If you're writing a fanfiction, at least respect the basic rules of the actual series.

For example (taken from the previous guidebook that Shadow wrote), Shadow described sharks as "sharp swimmers" instead of directly declaring them sharks. The term is both creative, and nice to say - get what I mean?
