'So close, but yet..so far.' Kiku thought as Alfred was on the phone. Kiku was mere inches from kissing his best friend. So close he could feel the heat that came off of them. It was so weird. Liking your best friend? That was surely a weird thought. "Yo man", Alfred said interrupting Kiku's thoughts, "Sorry, that was England wanting to know where I was." Alfred then made that goofy grin of his that made Kiku feel butterflies in his stomach and making Kiku smile. "That is quite aright." Kiku tried to hide the pink on his cheeks by setting up a new game. Alfred already saw that blush. That blush was the thing that could bring a smile to him. He loved that blush more than he loved burgers. He liked Kiku just the same. 

  Later that day they got bored of playing games. They decided to watch some movies. But not any type of movie. A scary movie. Most of the time Alfred was just screaming and refusing to look at the screen, but then he noticed Kiku had a poker face on. So Alfred scooted closer and closer to him. "KIKU! HOLD MEEEE!!!!" Alfred screamed. Kiku was shocked at this and was blushing furiously. "I..UH...GET OFF OF MEEEEE!" Kiku was trying to get Alfred off of him, but that only made Alfred get closer to him. Alfred was still screaming and being 'the brave hero' who isn't scarred of anything.

   Soon, they became closer than ever. Kiku was now laying on the couch with Alfred on top of him. Again, they were inches close from kissing when Alfred's phone buzzed. Alfred quickly got off of Kiku and checked his phone. "Dude, I like got to go. England wants me home. So uhh. Bye?" Alfred then ran out the door. "What the heck!?" Kiku said.
