it's almost pathetic,
how all of the people that have broken my heart,
are not aware of my very existence

gone are the days,
of countless letters,
endless prayers,
limitless dreams,
harsh realities,
and the breakdown of my mental health

don't get me wrong
i'm still not the brightest crayon in the box
and i still haven't learnt anything
i probably will never learn

but, for now at least,
my soul has reached its limit,
the skies have cleared up,
the sun still hides behind the clouds,
but the earth is dry
and the skies no longer cry

it's no longer heartbreak weather
but no good thing is permanent,
and soon enough my soul will recover,
and we'll do it all over again

but until then,
i bid you adieu.
