"I remember the first time we were at this airport together," Will said, wrapping his arm around Hazel's shoulders.
"Yeah," Hazel grinned. That had been a good day - she'd been in New York for Nico's birthday, but she hadn't moved up there yet. Nico had had to go Newsies rehearsal (even though he'd had a broken leg), so Will had volunteered to get her to the airport and onto her flight. She'd been extremely grateful - navigating airports was hard.

Today, he'd came to see Nico and Hazel off as they left for the show.
"And I didn't get to come," Nico sighed, and then laughed. "Our gate is just up here."
Hazel tugged at one of her backpack (beige with black polka dots) straps and looked down at her ticket.
They walked a few more yards in silence, dodging businesspeople and college students and everyone in between.
When they reached their gate, there were a few people from the cast - well, Sherman and Calypso - already there. Most of the rest of them were on different flights.
"Good morning," Hazel greeted them. They quickly replied, and Sherman stood up beside her.
"Who's that?" He whispered, obviously meaning Will, who had Nico wrapped up in a hug.
"That's Will. My brother's boyfriend. Surprised you didn't see it on Instagram."
Sherman rolled his eyes; Hazel laughed.
"Bye Hazel!" Will called, breaking apart from Nico.
"Bye Will." Hazel trotted over and gave him a side hug. Will then kissed Nico once more, said another goodbye, and started out of the airport.
"I love you!" Nico called.
"Love you more!" Will called back, glancing over his shoulder and grinning.
"Bleh," Sherman teased.
"I think they're cute," Calypso admitted.
"What about you, Hazel?" Sherman asked. "You got a boyfriend?"
"No," Hazel replied. "Do you?"
"I'm straight!" Sherman exclaimed, but he was grinning.
"Sorry!" Hazel replied, a little too loudly. "I mean- the only theatre boys I really know are Nico and Connor Stoll - they're both-"
"Hazel," Sherman laughed. "It's okay."
Hazel nodded slowly, and Calypso stood up quickly and hugged her.
They were all laughing still as their boarding group was called.
