It is the day where the Grand Ball happen. All the cells invited were giddy and excited for the party to happen. The red blood cells were working hard to delivery all the oxygen and nutrients on time to get ready for the ball, all immune cells invited were patrolling the area and the whole body to see that there is no pathogen before they relax and get ready. They destroyed every pathogen that was in their path however, due to to the current condition, it wasn't difficult since the pathogens were already infected with black goo coming out of them. They also realize that there are more black goo on the walls of the body as well as the number of female red blood cells have increased as well.

Luckily, there are still more red blood cells doing their job to act as a substitute for those who are missing.

AA, ME, AE and NT have been excited and giddy because of the ball as they are filled with excitement and determination to get their job done faster and go to the Macrophage to get ready.

" senpai, let's get these delivered now, we need to go to Miss Macrophage to get our dresses" said NT.

" yeah let's go kouhai-chan" said AE as she quickly put the box of oxygen on her trolly as she and NT sped away to their destination.

Meanwhile, 46 and his friends with their mitochondria shaking with excitement that the ball is happening tonight and they were going with their red blood cells.

" c'mon let's do one last patrol then we can change" said 46.

" I can't believe it's happening today" said 89 with joy in this tone as he thinks about NT, AE's kouhai.

" yeah, even though this is the way to lure out the enemy, it's still a ball right?" said 48.

" we need to protect them through all this, just like what Dendritic cell said, they may be targeted next" said 26 reminding them. Their faces got dark at the thought of anyone hurting their precious red blood cell that made Platelet's run in fear.

" I'll kill anyone who dares lay a finger on ME!" said 48 with rage in his voice that made some cells around him look at him with confusion and fear.

" 48 it's ok, we'll keep an eye on them alright, let's just finish the patrol and get our uniform from Dendritic cell" said 46.

They talked to Dendritic cell about the ball and they thought about just going in with their uniform to which Dendritic cell cut them off and told them it's a bad idea since it would look like that they are on patrol at the ball. He heard from his girlfriend, Macrophage, that their date, the red blood cells, would find it weird that they are in their uniform since this is a ball. The white blood cells were about to go to their superior to ask for a suit for the ball but Dendritic cell told them they can borrow a suit from him to which they agreed but Dendritic cell put one the sly mischievous smile to which they know that he wants something in return from them. Before they knew it, he asked them to bring their childhood pictured in exchange for the suits each. they wanted to decline but thought it would be worth it since they do want to look nice for their date. they begrudgingly accept.

" I really hope Dendritic cell does not show this to red blood cell" said 26 as he took out a small stack on pictured from his pocket which showed several pictures of him when he was a child in the bone marrow being all beaten and bruised from training feeling ashamed.

" knowing him, pretty sure he would" said 46 as he remembered during the influenza invasion, Dendritic cell distributed embarrassing photos to all of the immune cells to make them work harder. He shivered at the thought Dendritic cell would show this to AE to embarrass him or to black mail him to work hard.

" let's just finish this patrol then we can wallow in shame if Dendritic cell shows this to them" said 89.

They nodded as they started walking around the area looking for any pathogen before going to Dendritic cell and getting their suits from him.

Meanwhile with the red blood cells, they already finished their post as they are sitting down on the bench as AE and NT were eating some glucose and waiting for AA and ME to finish their post.

" I wonder when they will get here" said AE as she finished her glucose with NT looking around for her senpai and ME.

" pretty sure soon enough" said NT.

They waiting 5 more minutes before a voice called out to them.

" hey AE, NT you done already?" asked ME.

" oh ME! yeah we're done 10 minutes ago" said AE.

" sorry to keep you waiting, there was a pathogen at the path and the black goo was making the path difficult to walk by" said AA.

" oh I see, it's ok, your both here now" said AE.

" let's go to Miss Macrophage and get ready" said NT as she got up ready to leave.

" let's go" said AE as she got up.

The four red blood cells started walking to the bone marrow as they entered and walked around trying to find Macrophage and her room.

" oh red blood cells~" said Macrophage behind them. They turned around and smiled back at her. " come over here, your dresses are here" she started walking as the red blood cells followed her to her room.

They walked for a bit before they entered a room which they assume it is Macrophage's room.

" I thought you live in the spleen" said AE as she was a bit confused.

" oh me and some other Macrophage's tend to change from living to another building to the next to avoid pathogen finding the place and destroy it, plus it is also for me to protect these immature red blood cells from pathogens if they enter the bone marrow" said Macrophage.

" oh I see, that sounds smart" said AE.

Macrophage simply smile as she went to her wardrobe as she looked in and push her dresses to the side finding the dress she wants to give them.

" now then, where is that dress...?" said Macrophage as she keeps pushing some dresses out of the way. " oh here it is, here you go AE" she pulled out a dress from her wardrobe and handed to AE.

" oh thanks" said AE as she took it from Macrophage.

" you can change in there" said Macrophage as she pointed at the room to the side as AE nodded and went in there to change. " now then, I think I found your dresses in here"

Macrophage went through her wardrobe as she finally took out a dress and handed to AA, pointed at the room she can change into, she then handed a dress to NT and she went in the room to change and finally handed a dress to ME as she went in a room to change. In the meantime while waiting for them, Macrophage took out a dress for herself and started changing in a room.

After a couple of minutes, Macrophage is the first one to come out of the room as she looked at her self in the mirror. Macrophage is wearing a sleeveless cream colored long dress with a beaded neckline as well as she wore her hair into her usual braid with some wired white beads on her hair as she isn't wearing her hat.

" red blood cell? are you all ok?~" asked Macrophage as she knocked on each of their doors.

" uh yeah we are" said AE as she and the others sounded a bit nervous.

" are you all done? please come out so I can help you do your make up" said Macrophage.

They came out of the room as Macrophage gasped.

AE was wearing a long red sleeveless dress with an elbow length red gloves to suit the dress. Meanwhile, AA was wearing a long orange dress with a single shoulder strap on her left side of the shoulder with a silver beaded sash on her waist. ME was wearing a yellow long dress that is sleeveless but with a shoulder strap on both of her shoulders. NT was wearing a long purple dress that has a nice shoulder flow with a silver beaded sash on her waist like AA.

" oh my~ you all look beautiful!" said Macrophage.

" you think?" asked AE.

" of course my dear, those white blood cells will be amazed with your look, let's get some make up on to finish the touch" said Macrophage as she sat them down on her make up table as she helped them put some make up on and after they are done, she put on some on herself. " are you all ready for the ball?"

" I think so" said ME.

" great, lets go then~" said Macrophage.

they left the room and went out of the bone marrow and walked to the destination where the grand ball was held. as the white blood cells were waiting inside as they waited for the red blood cells.
