The white blood cells are waiting at the grand ball hall for the red blood cells to arrive.

46 was wearing a white suit with a black tie as he is still wearing his hat. 26 was wearing something similar but with a black bow tie instead. 48 was wearing a black suit with a black tie while 89 was wearing something similar but with a black bow tie like 26.

" I wonder if they are ready yet" said 48.

" are they lost?" said 26.

" or worse, have they already been kidnapped?!" said 89 who was worried and scared.

" no, Macrophage told me she's with them so it's fine, plus no pathogen will try to hurt them if they are with Macrophage" said 46.

The white blood cells finally calmed down as they waiting for a while. They then saw a group of red blood cells approaching and they quickly realized it is AE,AA,ME and NT. Their eye's widen as a blush appeared on their face.

AE's hair has a red glitter head band which match her long sleeveless red dress and elbow length red gloves as she is wearing red eye shadow, red lipstick and red eyeliner. AA's hair is tied into a braided bun with her side hair braided back with her long orange dress with orange eye liner as well as a nude color lipstick. ME has her hair braided like Macrophage's as her original glasses is changed to a yellow colored frame to match her yellow dress as there are yellow colored star shaped near her eyes with yellow eye liner. NT has curled her black hair as it has now butterfly hair clips around with purple butterfly shape eyeliner near her eyes and purple that goes well with her purple dress.

'so beautiful' thought the white blood cells, they didn't realized that the red blood cells are standing in front of them as they are also blushing.

" hm? well white blood cell? are you going to say something to them?~" said Macrophage.

" oh uh you look really pretty tonight" said 46 with his eyes softening as he smiled at AE with her blushing.

" you look stunning" said 26 with AA blushing and while smiling widely.

" you look amazing" said 48 with his usual smirk on his face with one of his eyes brows raised with ME blushing but also chuckling at him and playfully hitting his arm.

" you look beautiful" said 89 with his eyes closed and smiling at NT brightly as NT gave him a small smile.

The red blood cells blushed as they look away for a moment trying to keep their composure.

" thanks you, you look great too" said AE with her closing her eyes and smiling at him as 46 smiled back.

" your still wearing your hat?" said AA with a confused look.

" oh yeah, I thought it might finish the touch" said 26.

" it looks fine"

" I like your suit" said ME

" thanks princess" said 48 trying to be sly.

" you look nice" said NT with a blank face as she looks at him up and down.

" thank you" said 89 with him smiling at her while she inspected him.

" well then, shall we go inside?" said Macrophage as she held her left arm out and gestured them to go in the hall.

They nodded as the white blood cells took red blood cells hand and welcomed them inside. The hall was huge as a crystal chandelier was hanging above and the room was brighten up with white and yellow lights. There was a stage at the end of the hall the opposite of the entrance. There was a table with some nutrients and food for cells to eat with some table at the side as well and chairs. All of the cells around them were dressed in elegant clothing. Even NK was dressed in a dress that is a sleeveless black top until the waist that is a long flowy dark green dress. However, she didn't bother putting on make up nor style her hair. Memory T even wore a black suit with a white shirt underneath it but no bow tie nor tie as he is still wearing his 'MEMORY' hat.

" wow. it's so beautiful" said AE with her eyes widen and a huge smile on her face.

" yeah, so beautiful" said 46 as he looked at her.

" hey red blood cells, you all will be on in 20 minutes" said Macrophage reminding them of their performance with their instruments.

The four red blood cells nodded as Macrophage smiles and walk away to Dendritic cell as the white blood cells stood there confused.

" what do you mean you will be on?" asked 89.

" is there something you need to do?" asked 26.

" you'll see" said AA winking at them.

" in the meantime, do you want to dance?" asked 46 as he offered AE his hand and bowed a bit closing his eyes.

" oh, that would be nice" said AE as she took his hand and they went to the dance floor as they started dancing to a smooth music playing with some other cells.

The three red blood cells looked at their partner as they also gestured if they want to dance. They agreed as they went to the dance floor and started slow dancing to the music.

As they danced looking at each other in the eyes, it is true to their feelings, they like- no, they love the red blood cells from the moment they met. Before 46 met AE, he didn't think about being with someone much less then a red blood cell. His friends and other white blood cell comrades described him as someone that knows feelings but doesn't act on it like a robot and they even said he looks like a cold cell who only likes to kill pathogens. That was before he met AE and every since then, he experienced something he never thought he would experience and that is, love. He fell head over heels for her that his friends held this leverage over his head like a guillotine. He knows that he is in love with her and is willing to protect her from any pathogen that were to lay a finger on her. AE felt warm whenever she's with 46. it made her heart skip a beat and smile whenever she see's him far or near by. she realized with her friends days ago that they are in love with the white blood cells and want nothing more then to stay by their side. She knows for a fact that he will protect her since all the times before, he would come in and rescue her. His friends told her that he would always play the hero and look like it whenever she's nearby or if she's the one in danger as 48 would say that he's trying to show off to her as she just laughed.

Meanwhile, AA was slow dancing with 26 as she smiled at him but... there has been a question in her mind.

" hey 26?" she asked.

" hm? yes?"

" what are your eyes like? I mean, what do they look like?"

" oh? do you want to see it?" he asked. AA have never seen his eye's before and even his friends never seen his eyes before to which she finds it weird and wonder if he can even see at all.

" if you want" she said.

He let's her go for a minute as he took off his hat with his right hand as he used his left hand and lifted up his bangs.

AA gasped at his eyes. It was almond shaped as his eye color is black like all the white blood cell but he has long white eye lash. AA thought he was handsome without his eyes when she met him but now, he looks more handsome.

" your eyes look so amazing" she said.

26 blushed as he put his bangs down and his hat on his head before holding her hand again as they continue on dancing.

26 have met AE's senpai before a few times but they never really talked and he thought she was really pretty as well as smart and hard working from what he heard and saw. They only talked after AE introduced to them to each other and because of this, it encouraged them to talk to each other more often. The more time he spend with her, the more he felt his heart racing as his mitochondria was giddy when he sees her. That's when he realized, he was in love with her and he should really thank AE and give her a lifetime supply of glucose and coffee to thank her. (pretty sure 46 would phagocyte him if he doesn't explain). AA have seen him a few times but didn't really talk to him and if it weren't for AE, she would have never seen this side of a white blood cell before. She realize that 26 is someone really kind and gentle as well as caring and she has to admit, she is in love with him and wants nothing but to be by his side. They both continue dancing while looking at each other and smile lovingly. 

Meanwhile with 48 and ME, they were both just telling each other some cheesy pick up lines and some joke which made each other laugh while dancing as ME just rolled her eyes and 48 just keep on telling jokes. 48 and ME have never really met. They only see each other after she and her red blood cell group have entered the body and since then, they only see each other and not really talk until AE introduced them to each other have they really talked. 48 have to admit, ME is really cute and beautiful especially when he flirts with her and her blush and her being flustered makes his heart jump and made him smile. He have to admit, he thought he was flirting with a helpless kitten which is ME as he assumed she is similar to AE who is always flustered when he flirts with her as this caused 46 to glared at him with daggers but no, ME is someone who can talk back and retaliate as she is shown to be someone fierce and feisty and 48 have to admit, he likes it. before he realized it, he was in love with ME and pretty sure those pick up lines he's using on her, he actually meant it and those jokes, it's for her to laugh since he wants to hear her laugh and see her smile. ME didn't think much about 48 since in her opinion, he's just another white blood cell but the more he met with him after AE introduced him to her, she has been thinking about jokes and pick up lines to say so she can make him speechless and fight back, before she knows it, she started falling for him more and the pick up lines and jokes was supposed to make him laugh so she can hear it as well as see him flustered as she thought he looked cute. ME does have to admit, he is really handsome even if he is a flirty bastard.

The dance between NT and 89 was quiet but peaceful as well as calming since they are looking at each other with loving eyes. 89 have seen her a few times before meeting NT properly due to AE being close to 46 and themselves. He thought NT was cute at first. He never really seen her smile before and because of this, he motivated himself to at least see her smile once even if it a small one. And when she did, his heart fluttered, her smile made her look more cute and more beautiful. The more time he spend with her, the more he felt his heart skip a beat and he knew that he is now in love with NT. She is someone dedicated to her work as well as her respect for AE after the hemorrhagic shock and someone smart. Even though they started bumpy, he's just happy that he and NT got along well after that. NT haven't met 89 before but she did see him a few times and those times was when she was stuck between the walls and his friends ended up helping him get out. it wasn't until her senpai, AE introduced them that they actually got to know each other. NT thought white blood cells are violent by nature due to their blood thirsty nature to kill pathogens. Due to this, NT got off the wrong foot with 89 before clarifying with him and the more time she spend with him, the more she realized that her senpai is right. White blood cells protect us and is the guardian of the body since they are the first line of defense. NT, before she realized, 89 is someone really nice and caring. She also notice he is someone creative since he likes to use weapons he created on his own and using objects around him. She realized her heart skips a beat whenever he complimented her and that's when she knows, she is in love with him.

They were enjoying themselves before they heard a microphone static.

" hello? is this on?" said Helper T. All cells then turned to him as he realized it is working. " good evening all cells, I'm so glad you all came here and all of you look amazing"

The red blood cells felt a tap on their shoulder as they turned around and saw Macrophage.

" it is time red blood cell" whispered Macrophage to them. They nodded as they excused themselves as they went with Macrophage to the side of the stage.

At the side of the stage, the Macrophage gave ME the clarinet, AA the flute and NT the violin. AE realized the piano is already set up at the stage with the harp next to it.

" I would like to introduce you to the cells that will be playing for you this evening, please welcome them to the stage" said Helper T as he opened his arms and gestured for the four red blood cells and the Macrophage to come on stage. Everyone clapped for them as they went on the stage.

They looked at each other nervously however, the Macrophage just smiled at them to help them calm down. AE nodded as she took a seat and placed her fingers on the piano while AA held the flute near her mouth, ME put the clarinet to her lips while NT placed the violin between her china and left shoulder as she positioned the bow on the violin strings. Macrophage took a sat at the end of her harp as she put both her arms up with one at one side of the harp. They took a deep breath before both AE and Macrophage played a note while the rest followed.

every cell was shocked especially the white blood cells since they never realized that the red blood cells can play the instrument well. The tune of their instrument is soft and calming as if all problems and the current situation were gone and the tune is all they need. The red blood cells smiled as the audience stood there in awe of their music. This went on for a few minutes, nothing but peace and the tune until a normal cell spoke out.

" it doesn't matter if she can play the piano or not, she's still a defective sickle cell" said the normal cell.

This made the audience softly gasp as AE pressed the wrong note which made her friends and Macrophage to look at her.

'defective? Sickle cell?' thought AE. I mean, she always have red hair and she always get lost not only that but she has a hair flick on her right side which is like a sickle crescent shape but she has never thought she would be a sickle cell. Her friends looked at her as she has tears in her eyes.

" AE..." said AA softly

" hey it's ok, AE" said ME whispering to her.

" senpai..." said NT softly feeling bad.

The three friends knows that cells such as the red blood cell and normal cells would talk about her when she told him when they are with her on punishment but they never thought someone would say it to her face. They now don't care what anyone says about them but they would not stand for AE to be insulted like this.

" I'm so sorry but... I've got to go" said AE as she got up and ran to the side of the stage with tears streaming from her face.

" oh who the fuck said that!?!?!" shouted 89.

" come one out and say it again you bastard!" shouted 48 ready to attack the cell that insulted AE.

" I dare you to say it one more time" said 26.

The red blood cells put down their instruments as they approach them on the dance floor as all the cells now look at them.

" hey 46" whispered AA to 46. " go find AE, we'll take care of this"

46 nodded as he run off to find AE.

" alright then who was the one that said it huh?! show yourself you coward!" shouted ME looking around to find the culprit.

Meanwhile, AE was somewhere in the hall but she ran so far that she realized she is at the top floor of the building sitting by the window with her head down and her arms hugging her legs as she cries with her make up ruined with her tears.

She thought about herself and the comment made. She knows she's really clumsy and gets lost easily. She does get comments like this. Defective they say. Klutz they teased. Even her classmates during her time in the bone marrow would tease her saying she will not do a good job once she becomes a red blood cell. the more she thought of this, the more she realized she didn't have any friends during her time and even if she did, it was only short lived. She is friends with her senpai before NT and ME but even then, she isn't around much since she had her tasks she needs to do. It was until 46 entered her life that made it better. She was happy that he was always there for her even in the dark. She knows he was the one that helped her to deliver the oxygen to the heart and is there to listen to her stories.

It wasn't a bad life though right?

Cliffhanger! It's gonna get intense from here on out! I've been wanting to write about these last few chapters for a while so that's why I'm writing a lot but I hope you all enjoy this chapter and story so far. A couple more chapters to go alright?
