It's the first day that the red blood cells got back to work and now, at least AE was able to find her way with or without her kouhai since they usually get the same post and sometimes different.

" senpai, remember to send letters to the black blood cells" said NT reminding her senpai.

" yeah yeah I know" said AE as she took out her note book and started writing. After a while, they made their way to the post box as they put their letters in ready to be delivered. They looked across the street and saw AA and ME already putting their letters in.

" senpai you already wrote to them?" asked AE as she and NT started walking towards them.

" yeah, they wrote a letter to me first" said AA as she took out the paper.

The red blood cells also took out the paper the black blood cells wrote to them. They started reading each others letters.

Dear AE,

I'm glad that your starting your work now. Your such a hard worker. I hope you won't get lost and do your best. Hope to hear from you soon. Also, don't let anyone talk horribly to you like that ok? Your the best red blood cell I know.

I hope your doing well? Me and my friends are. Please take care of your kouhai since she looks up to you a lot. And I understand why, your really smart, hard working and not to mention really beautiful in my opinion, I hope you and your friends are doing well on your work. Hope yo hear from you soon.

" aww! he said you look beautiful" said ME as she showed her letter. AA's face then turn into a shade of red as she keeps smiling at her letter.

Dear ME,

Thank you for the bread you gave me. It's really delicious! I'm so happy that I met you. I don't think I've ever seen someone really beautiful and smart before. I hope your doing well in your job since I know your a really hard worker. Your friend, AE have told me how she met you and I'm so happy that you were really nice to her. Hope to hear from you soon sweetheart.

" he is such a tease" said ME as she still remembers the time where she first met 48 and he just started flirting with her. She rolled her eyes but had a small blush when she re-read her letter.

Dear NT,

it's been amazing meeting you. I really like listening to your story and how you met your senpai. I really think your a hard worker and someone really smart. I'm glad your doing well in your work. Also I don't know if anyone told you this before but you have such a cute and beautiful smile that goes well with your beautiful face. I hope to hear from you soon. Have fun at work today with your friends.

" it's nice to hear from them. I hope they are well and doing fine" said NT.

" yeah, are you both on a break now?" asked ME.

" oh yeah, it was me and kouhai-chan's last delivery just now. Are you both on a break now as well?" asked AE.

" yeah we are. what do you want to do?" asked AA.

The four red blood cells thought for a while. Since they don't go back to work in an hour and a half, they were not sure what to do since they already eat their glucose and still have lots of energy to spare. That is until AE have an idea.

" hey let's go to the bone marrow" said AE.

" isn't that the place where you three were born and taught?" asked ME.

" yeah do you guys wanna go?" asked AE.

" sure" said AA.

" let's go then" said NT.

They started walking towards the bone marrow and since ME isn't from this body, her friends lead her the way while telling stories about their time there. AA explained she is one of the top students in her class of red blood cells and because of this, during their graduation she was the valedictorian. Meanwhile in AE's case, she was always clumsy like she is now and was always teased by her classmates which caused her to not have many friends. But one that stood out to her is the fact that she encountered a pathogen during her time and while she and her red blood cell's classmates were running away from a while blood cell who was disguised as a pathogen for them to practice running away and hiding from a pathogen after they matured to a red blood cell. However, she was saved by a immature white blood cell but AE doesn't remember his face nor catch his name but is still grateful for his help and hoped to see him again and thank him. ME was surprise to hear that a pathogen was able to hijack the bone marrow but was thankful that the white blood cell was able to defeat it. For NT's case, she said that she is one of the most smartest and hard working of all her classmates however, she tends to be cold and blunt with others and despite her graduating, not many of the red blood cell want to take her in to be their kouhai and some don't want to partner up or be friends with her due to her cold nature, her bluntness as well as she heard that she's too competent that there isn't much to teach her until AE decided to take the role and NT realizes that there is still more to learn and doing the job isn't just about knowledge but also the dedication and passion of the work that AE taught her and because of that, her respect for AE has increased significantly. ME was surprise to hear all these stories since for her, there isn't much going on but she did say that during her time in the bone marrow, she was a good student and graduate so there isn't much stories going on.

" well I'm glad that all of you are able to have a good time at the bone marrow" said ME

" yeah we did. Well here we are" said AE.

They are currently at the entrance of the bone marrow. As the enter, there are erythroblast around playing with their friends and on the playground.

" aww, they look so cute" said AE. " *sign* there's so much nostalgia whenever I come back here"

" yeah your right" said AA.

They kept on walking around the field and towards the building. The three red blood cells remembered the hall that they graduated in.

They looked inside from the doorframe and the place has the chairs, stage with some candles as well as a piano, violin, clarinet and a flute on the stage. The three red blood cells remember the Macrophage's would play the instruments when a group of erythroblast who's time was to graduate. The Macrophage they knew would play the cello and to be honest in their opinion, she would always play it beautifully.

They entered the building and went up the stage as they gently touched the instruments.

" senpai, do you know how to play the piano?" asked NT as she looked at AE who was gently touching the roof of the piano and looking at it with a smile on her face.

" well during my time here, I would play the piano when it's free time. It's quite nice" said AE who was looking at NT. " do you play the violin?" she asked as NT as she saw her holding the violin.

" yeah after I read all the book and did all my work, I would get the violin and start playing it. It is nice" said NT. " AA, do you play the flute often?" she asked as AA held up the flute near her face.

" Yeah I used to, I sometime miss playing the flute" said AA "ME did you play the clarinet when you were in the bone marrow?"

" well in the body I was in, it is optional to play an instrument since some red blood cells take it as an extra activity. I chose the clarinet since I like the sound of it as it calms me down" said ME as she held the clarinet.

" hey let's play something since we're already here. Plus no one's around but just us" said AE.

" well it has been a while but it doesn't hurt to play" said AA. NT and ME also agreed as NT held the violin and placed it on her shoulder between her chin and ME put her mouth on the clarinet read to blow on it.

AE sat down on the chair as she placed her fingers on each note of the piano ready to press on it and AA put the flute hear her mouth ready to blow.

AE started the note as she and her friends started playing the instruments they chose. The notes were sound of music as each note they played were nothing but magic as the played in sync with each other focus on their and their friends notes. Unbeknownst to them, a Macrophage was passing by but she heard someone play the instrument in the hall as she peaks and saw three of her students and the transfusion red blood cell play the the instrument.

After the red blood cells played, they hear someone clapping as they turned to their left side and saw the Macrophage at the door entrance as she clapped at their performance smiling at them with her eyes closed. They realize that they were too submerged in their instrument and thoughts to realize that the Macrophage has been listening to their small performance.

" oh hi Macrophage. How are you? and were just listening to us play?" asked AE as she got up from the chair and walked towards Macrophage.

" oh hi dear, I'm fine. I was just passing by since it's break time for the erythroblast kids and I just happen to hear the wonderful music you girls were playing. It's really magical and beautiful" complimented the Macrophage to the red blood cells.

The red blood cells put the instruments down and walked towards the Macrophage.

" sorry that we came here I hope were not intruding anything and we were just about to leave since we're on a break now" said NT.

" not at all. I'm happy that you still remember how to play it. Also, ME0808 right?" asked Macrophage.

" uh yes Macrophage?" said ME

" I'm amazed and impressed that you can play the clarinet since not many red blood cells want to play it and Macrophage's don't really want to play it since the sound of it is a bit sad and deep"

" oh thank you. I like playing it since for me it sounds calming and relaxing" said ME.

" I see, I'm just happy to see all my former students here" said Macrophage as she went in the hall and started sweeping the floor.

" well we'll be on our way, see you soon Macrophage" said AE waving her good bye but was stopped.

" wait red blood cells" said Macrophage stopping the four red blood cells.

" yes?" said NT.

" this may be strange for me to ask but, what are your dreams?" asked Macrophage.

" excuse me?" asked AA.

" do you have any dreams such as what you want?" asked Macrophage.

The red blood cells eyes widen as the looked at the Macrophage and at each other. They didn't really expect this question much less from the Macrophage. They haven't really thought about the question nor what they dream about either having something. But... the more they thought about it, they have this feeling in their hearts that they do want and dream about something they want but... they don't know what to do about it nor do they know if the thing they want will want them back.

" it's ok if you can't answer it yet. it's a bit silly of me asking, you four can go if you want" said the Macrophage as she keeps on sweeping the floor.

The four red blood cells nodded as they said their good bye and started walking out of the bone marrow as they thought about the question the Macrophage asked them.

Maybe there is something they want after all...

sorry if there is not RBC x WBC scene's here since in this chapter I just want to give more time for the red blood cell and have them play some instruments as well as give some time with the Macrophage. Side note, I really have no idea how to play the violin, flute nor clarinet since I have never played it before nor know the notes but I do hear the music of it. I only know how to play the piano when I was younger so I know more about the piano so I'm sorry if I got the instruments a bit wrong I really have no idea how to interpret it. Hope you all enjoy.
