~from (y/n)'s POV~

Eren seemed to follow a similar trail of thought. "So the person you were supposed to meet up with got stuck here too, huh?"

You nodded, dazed. Is this luck? "Yeah...I wonder if he's one of the people you already found?" you murmured.

Eren shrugged. "Could be. Want us to take you back to where we left the others?"

You nodded. You could always just text your boyfriend and ask to meet up, but maybe he could use a nice surprise. If he wasn't with the others, though, you'd have to let him know where you were. For now, you let Eren and Levi lead you through the park to a small picnic area adjacent to the Ferris Wheel. Sitting on the benches were six people, all around your age.

Each one looked up at you and introduced themselves.

"Jean."

"Marco."

"Armin."

"Annie."

"Sasha."

The last one stared at you for a second in shock. "(Y/n)?"

"Erwin!" you shouted, running over to him and hugging him.

"Hey, now," he said, sounding slightly uncomfortable, probably because you were showing a public display of affection in front of a small crowd. "So you're here, too," he said.

You nodded, about to speak when Levi spoke instead.

"She almost wasn't," he muttered.

"Would you shut up about the electric field, okay?!" you protested, exasperated. "I won't do it again!"

Erwin pulled back, concerned. "What's this about an electric field?"

"It's what's keeping us inside," you explained, and Eren winced.

"And (y/n) may or may not have run into it..."

"Are you okay?" Erwin asked, inspecting you quickly, and you blushed.

"I'm fine, really."

"So you two..." Levi let the thought hang, and you nodded, blushing. You looked over at Erwin to see his expression only to find him glancing at one of the girls - you couldn't remember her name. He looked back over.

"Hm?" he asked, sensing that a question had been asked.

Levi rolled his eyes. "Figures," he muttered before turning away.

What figures? Why is Levi pissed off?

You shrugged, turning back to Erwin. "What happened? I thought I saw you earlier, but then you were gone, and I was looking for you, but then-" You waved your arm toward the invisible dome of the electric field above you. "-this all happened, and I didn't know where you were-"

He stopped your rambling by putting his lips over yours, a short but sweet kiss. He pulled away, smiling. "It's all right, (y/n). I'm here, okay? You don't have to worry."

"Um, au contraire, I believe we have plenty of cause for worrying," Eren interjected. "Speaking of, we need to gather all the available food supplies and try to locate as many cell phone chargers as possible."

"I'll help," you immediately volunteered. Eren and Levi had already helped you out so much, and you owed them - not to mention that gathering supplies was crucial for your survival.
Jean, Marco, Armin, Annie, Sasha, Erwin, Y/N, Eren, Levi

"Thanks," Eren said, smiling. "I was thinking we could split up into groups of three? Levi, (y/n), and I could cover this section of the park-" He pointed to a region on a map of the amusement park, "-Jean, Marco, and Sasha could cover this part, and Erwin, Armin, and Annie could take the last section."

"Sounds good," the one who called himself Jean said, nodding at Marco, who nodded back. It looks like those two are friends from before this all happened.

Erwin nodded. "Works for me."

The others nodded their mutual consent, and Eren grinned. "Sweet. Let's exchange cell numbers and stay in contact. Everyone should check in every half hour with the leader from the other group, okay?"

"How do we pick leaders?" Jean asked.

Eren shrugged. "I just figured we could do it randomly? How about Jean, Erwin, and Levi?"

"That's totally sexist," Annie muttered, but Eren just laughed.

"Oh well. Ready?"

Everyone quickly exchanged numbers before the groups split up.

Although Levi was the "leader" of your group, Eren was in the lead, consulting the map. "Sorry for shoving you in our group," he apologized. "You probably would rather be with Erwin, right?"

"It's fine," you said. "I don't mind."

Eren was quiet. "He's your boyfriend, right?"

You nodded. "Yep!"

"How long have you two been going out?" he asked, sounding almost nervous.

But why would Eren be nervous? That doesn't make sense. I'm probably just imagining it because everything's so weird. "A year, give or take. Do you have a girlfriend?"

He shook his head. "I've got my hands full just taking care of my little sister- well, I did," he amended with an awkward pause.

Whoops. Touchy subject... "Ah. Right," you mumbled.

"Do you like him?" Levi said from behind you, and you looked back at him in surprise.

"I'm sorry...?"

"Erwin. Do you actually like that prick?"

You blinked. "Well, yeah. He's my boyfriend."

"Yeah, but do you like him?"

You frowned. "Of course I like him. I wouldn't be dating him otherwise, would I?" Would I?

Levi just scoffed. "Do you trust him, though?"

You started to say, "Of course-" but then broke off. Of course I trust him, right? I mean...sure, I doubt him sometimes, but he's just busy and I'm paranoid! "Yeah," you finally said lamely.

Levi scowled. "That bastard, he-"

"Levi," Eren warned, putting a hand on Levi's shoulder. "Calm down."

Levi was still for a moment before knocking Eren's hand off of him and storming onward.

"Sorry about him," Eren apologized a long moment of silence later, laughing awkwardly. "He's just being grumpy today."

"Er...right," you said, rejoining Eren in the search for resources, but Levi's words remained in your mind.

Do you trust him?

Without Erwin by your side, you couldn't answer as confidently as before.
