Backstory: Their egg was left in a Silkwing hatchery by fleeing Leafwings after the Tree War's in hope that their baby would have a better future. Because of all the Silkwings around them, the egg developed to be more colourful, and the new hatchling was given to their first foster mother, who taught them how to hide all even vaguely non-Silk aspects about themself.
