Lucy

Natsu passed me one of his passes again, I caught it just in time about to volley it in for a point after fifteen minutes of fighting for the ball in mid field.

I made the break through in correct estimation.

Once again, Gajeel's bigger body threw me off my feet as the ball rolled out behind the goal. Ow...

The crowd started booing at the refs' judgements. It was clearly a foul, one that can be given as a PK but of course not...

The goalie kicked the ball up the field again just as I was standing up. Well, barely, I stumbled a bit my shins murdering me (some of the players thought my shins were the ball about three times).

"You alright, Lucy?" Gray asked.

I nodded, "I'll be fine, really."

He nodded, running up field with me right behind him.

Cuckoo hut lady passed the ball out to their wingman right when Erza tried to stop the pass. The ball sailed right in front of her into a complete pass to their winger.

'A beautiful pass from Ms. Juvia Lockser.'

So that's her name...

The winger ran down the side, her green eyes looking a head. With a nod, she sent the ball fast into the penalty area for their striker to retrieve.

Loke was fast and he slid the ball out of there, right in front of the striker. Their striker, a curly hair ginger boy, fell forward before grabbing his right leg faking an injury. Victor blew the whistle.

The whole crowd booed and all of Fairy Tail ran over to where Victor just as he pulled out the yellow card in front of Loke's face.

"You can't do that!" Cana.

"That was a manly tackle!" Elfman.

"Are you really blind?!" Macao.

"That was fair!" Gray.

"No questions, alright? Number twenty-two one more than you're out," Victor pointed at the orange head. He mumbled something and kicked up grass but he was smart enough to keep his mouth shut. I watched the poor defender, frustrated with the unfairness of the decision. I didn't join in on the rest of my team's argument.

'Jack I don't think that should've been a foul, let alone a yellow card.'

'That I agree but Fairy Tail should be a little more careful now that they know that the referees are out to get them.'

"Fairy Tail!" Jellal's voice caught our attention. He and Erza was standing a little ways away from the chaos. "A moment."

I walked over as the rest of Fairy Tail sulked.

Once we were all gather Erza took a deep breath, "Alright, we all have noticed that the refs are purposely turning blind eyes on all of Phantom's many, many illegal hits but arguing with the man in charge is no option."

"So," Jellal crossed his arms. "We came up with a plan to move around the refs calls."

"I say we report this to the Fiore Officials," Macao growled.

"That can only be done after the game but for now," Jellal turned to me. "Lucy, whenever you get the ball, shoot. Redfox is just going to keep tackling you like that if you try to use one of your special volleys. We're all very well aware of your accuracy as well as your power behind every shot. You never know, one lucky shot might get us a goal."

"Gray, Natsu," Erza's turn. "Keep running down the field no matter what. Jellal and I will take up your rear, Max will stay back just in case. Loke, be careful but keep your line up to pull them offsides."

"Fairy Tail!" Victor called. "Line up for the PK."

Erza nodded, "Go!"

"Lucy!" Jellal turned to me. "One more thing..."

'What a beautiful shot! One of the best PK I've seen in a long, long time, Kim?'

'Just to be expected of Phantom Lord's captain. The shot was never a chance for Strauss.'

Victor blew the whistle to resume the game after the shot was taken. Lucy's brown eyes met mines before she laid the ball off to me. I turned and passed it back towards Jellal, plan in motion.

I ran out wide before sprinting down the field, all the while my eyes on the ball. Erza received the short pass from our teammates. She passed the ball easily through the legs of the big mid-fielder that tackled her minutes ago and received it on the other end.

'A perfect, perfect through the leg pass from the lady in charge of the losing team. Will this be a key play for the buildup happening?'

The captain laid the ball off to Lucy, just as the blonde was sprinting forward. I saw her leg pull back before she shot the ball at an impossible speed.

'I can't tell, Kim is that a pass or a shot?'

'That is hard to tell. Both Dragneel and Fullbuster are running for the ball. Oh! As well as Fernandez and Scarlet.'

'We can only wait and see.'

A bigger body rammed into mines but I stood my ground. Instead, I pushed into his body.

"You got some nerve, Salamander," Gajeel...

"Yeah well, Fairy Tail is gonna beat your sorry asses to the ground, Metal Face."

"What cha call me, asshole?!"

My forehead collided with his, "Metal Face!!!"

"Gajeel!" Somebody shouted from the sidelines. "Get your head back into the game!"

His red eyes turned away looking for the threat. I took the chance and appeared in front his face again.

"Move it, pipsqueak!" He snapped.

"Like hell I would," I snapped back, blocking his line of view.

I kept one of my eyes on the game seeing the flash of blonde hair making its way into the box. Lucy raised a hand to one of our players indicating she's free.

The player was Erza.

Taking on a few defenders and easily beating them, our captain passed it towards Jellal running alongside her. With one swift motion, the soccer ball was sent forward into the air.

A defender, a girl with a same exact build and size as Lucy started blocking the striker. Gray tried running in to rebound the ball just in case.

No need, I smirked. Lucy's got this one in the bag.

The defender jumped at the same exact time as Lucy. But Lucy's heel was faster. She slammed the ball towards the ground, causing it to bounce. I finally let Gajeel out of my sight as all the other defenders scrambled for the ball.

By the time they got to its general area, the soccer ball had already met the right corner of the net. The goalie looked dazed with no clue on what to do.

The crowd erupted in cheers, you could literally feel the stadium shake violently at their screams and shouts.

'Gooooooal! For Fairy Tail! The equalizer was definitely scored by a high class striker!'

'I agree with you 100% Jack. The new striker had the whole plan of attack calculated in her mind. The minute the ball was near her, there was no way Phantom could've saved it.'

I started running over to Lucy but my legs stopped moving half way. The whole time this happened, Lucy's back was to me so I could tell it was her through the giant number seven and her long blonde hair that covered her last name. Unlike the other girls, she got into the moment and forgot to tie her hair up.

Not the issue here...

My eyes widened as her head turned towards my direction. Her chocolate eyes met mines before she gave me the biggest and warmest smile ever; the hand with our team mark pumped into a fist.

I don't know what happened to me then. My heart hit it's highest note. My hands itching to touch her, my whole chest and abs tightened with the memory of her small soft hands wrapped around them not too long ago.

Lucy Heartfilia... what have you done to me?
