The Lunatic Lightly's.

The Lunatic Lightly's

"Dear Godric Gryffindor." Lavender gaped, her head tilting forward at the sight which met our gaze.

Out in the open front yard of Hogwarts was two huge dragons in the middle of what looked to be the midst of a brawl with each other. However, if you studied the brawl close enough you would be able to see that it was obvious neither party wanted to hurt the other, it just a petty fight.

Paying no mind to the brawling dragons was Alexius floating in the air in a horizontal position, so that it appeared he was lying down. His hands supported the behind of his head, while he sang a familiar tune in the most god-awful tone.

"I just wanted you to know!" Alexius dramatically cried, pointing to the heavens which was slowly shifting into the night. "That baby you're the best!" I watched the idiot with a blank look, shocked that he decided to start levitating like that in the wide open—where anyone could see him.

"I GOT MY RED DRESS ON TONIGHT!" He shouted suddenly at the top of his lungs, fluttering his eyes closed. "Dancing in the dark and the pale moonlight. Done my hair up real big beauty-queen style, high heels off, I'M FEELING ALIVE!"

Lavender nudged me, bringing her lips close to my ear to whisper. "Please tell me this is Alexius and not some random stranger."

"It's Alexius." I confirmed, shaking my head as he sang.

"Oh my god, I feel it in the air; telephone wires above, sizzling like sun—nothing scares me anymore!" I was officially at a loss for words.

"Is he okay." Lavender whispered in a slightly scared tone, making my eyebrows furrowed.

"Unfortunately," I turned to her, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. "Yes, this is his normal behavior." Lavender let out a disgruntled puff.

"HEY!" The thunder in my voice caught Alexius's attention, causing him to stop singing. "Do you mind shutting up? We're not exactly looking for the attention." I crossed my arms scowling, Alexius completely ignoring me, his gaze fixated on Lavender.

"And who are you with your brown hair and sapphire eyes?" Alexius questioned, levitating his body toward us.

"Um..." Lavender shifted uncomfortably under Alexius's stare. "Lavender Rowle." She gained her confidence back, looking him straight in the eye.

"Oh my!" Alexius fawned, fanning himself as if he were hot. "Your the one who knows the truth, but of course!" He cried, levitating so he was mere inches from Lavender's face, Lavender looking slightly wary of him.

"Bro, stop creeping my friend out!" I reprimanded Alexius, hitting his arm as he floated. "And come down from there! What if someone see's you?" Rolling his eyes, Alexius floated back to his feet.

Wearing a flippant smirk, he held out his hand to Lavender. "Alexius, but while we're here at Hogwarts I'm Alexius Lightly." Alexius smiled, as Lavender hesitantly placed her hand in his own.

He winked at her as they let go, causing her to blush fiercely. It was no secret that Alexius was a rather good-looking guy. I; however, tended to overlook that most of the time making me forget.

Casually looking back to the brawling dragons, I flicked Alexius on the head.

"OW." He glared, rubbing his head.

"Why are you letting them brawl like that?"

He scoffed, crossing his arms. "I didn't see you trying to pull them apart when you came out here, so you're also letting them fight." Knowing he was right, I groaned turning to face the dragons.

Bringing my fingers to my lips, I whistled loudly breaking the two apart. "No fighting you two." Both dragons settled on delivering a glare to one another, making Alexius chuckle.

In a matter of seconds I heard the one thing I didn't want to hear. The school bell.

All our faces paled as Alexius and I looked down to our clothing. Lavender seemed to just take notice of Alexius's clothing, not bothering to hide her wandering eyes as she checked him out. Of course, Alexius didn't notice but I did. I smiled, knowing there was nothing truly there; her just admiring his physique.

"Hurry change clothes." With that sentence leaving my mouth, our gear was gone replaced with the fine clothing we had before.

I groaned, feeling the corset just as tight as before. Lavender jumped, looking to our changed attire in shock. "I liked your hair Pandora, you should have kept it down." Lavender pouted at my now pinned hair.

Before I could reply, I was cut off by Alexius grabbing both our hands pulling us behind a large column which easily hid our figures. "The students are coming! Sadie, Maisaleon, don't give is away!" Alexius yelped, as we hid watching the students run out of the castle looking to the dragons in shock.

First it was the Hufflepuff's and Gryffindor's who filtered out the door, watching the dragons from a safe distance. My eyes found Walter who I had noticed changed a bit over summer. His hair seemed to be even more blonde, and his stature just a bit taller.

I smiled as he looked to the dragons in pure wonder, unlike many who held fear in their gaze. Now that I thought about it, Lavender had changed a bit over summer too. Her hair was shorter with less curl to it. Unlike before it was no longer just a mousy brown, but held an almost unnoticeable red tint to it—a sure sign she was outside a lot over summer. If it the hair wasn't enough of a sign, than her sun-kissed skin would have been a clear give away.

However, one thing stuck out to me the most. With furrowed brows, I leaned into her whispering, "Did your boobs get bigger?"

Lavender flushed bright red, Alexius snickering from where he sat able to hear out conversation perfectly. "Did your boobs get bigger!" She hushed a yell back in a defensive voice.

I only shrugged. "I hope so." My answer caught her off guard, making Alexius snicker all the more.

"They did." He suddenly piped in, a glare from me hitting him.

"I didn't ask you." Our banter was cut short by the one and only Ravenclaw and Slytherin House making their way through the crowd.

Almost immediately, a group of eight Slytherin boys easily pushed their way to the front—scowls drawn on each of their faces. In the center of the boys was the one and only; Tom Marvolo Riddle.

He had grown through the summer gaining a small but noticeable boost in height, it added on to his already intimidating structure. His hair was black alike to always, a bit longer than before and his eyes appeared all the more blue. He looked even more handsome than before if that was at all possible, something that made my insides churn with want.

However, a glint on his finger made my heart stop. The Gaunt family ring. He had done it. Killed his father and made another Horcrux. I took deep calming breaths reminding myself that this had to happen, I wasn't allowed to tamper with fate that dramatically.

Tom tilted his head, watching the dragons curiously. It was a look in his eyes that was familiar, it was the look that he had sent his Basilisk the night I followed him into the chamber. It was the look that he sent all snakes, a look which said he adored the creature alike to a dog owner.

Swallowing, I took deep breaths—forcing myself to stay planted and not run to Tom. Tom's gaze soon left the dragons looking to a sight behind him, the student body split apart making room for the Headmaster and Professors coming through. Dippet, Dumbledore, and Kettleburn lead the way—an excited glimmer brewing in Kettleburn's eye.

The Headmaster gasped upon the sight of the huge dragons, looking ready to faint. Immediately the Headmaster turned to the Care of Magical Creatures Professor in panic.

"Are these dragons tame, Silvanus?" His tone held worry, glancing at the dragons every few seconds.

Kettleburn snorted at the Headmasters worry, waving him off. "Of course they are, had they not been tame I reckon we'd all be dead." He tried to joke, but that only seemed to make Dippet more faint.

Dumbledore stayed calm, looking at the dragons with a smile shaking his head.

"However, I wouldn't recommend going up to them without the owners present." Kettleburn stated. "Just because they are tame does not mean they won't react negatively to a stranger coming up to them." His tone reflected truth, every student quite eager to hear what the authority of the school had to say about this.

Tom watched them with calculating eyes, obviously eager to know who the owner was.

"Of course," The Headmaster agreed, looking around—his eyes furrowing when he found no sign of us.

"I thought you said they were out here, Albus?" Dippet turned to Dumbledore, making the Professor chuckle.

All the students listened eagerly, trying to pick apart who the owners could possibly be. Tom tilted his head, looking through the students trying to find anyone suspicious looking.

"Of course they're out here, I suspect they must be hiding though." Dumbledore clicked his tongue, gaze falling to where we were behind the column.

At Dumbledore's obvious shift of attention to the column, every single person out there suddenly turned there head to where we hid behind the column. We all paled, looking to each other nervously not daring to peek out from the column.

"Maybe if we don't look they'll stop staring over here." Alexius suggested quite loudly, and because everyone over there was silent his voice was quite easy to make out.

Dumbledore chuckled to himself upon hearing Alexius's voice. Lavender and I both glared to Alexius, who gave a sheepish smile.

"Alexius Lightly I presume?" Dumbledore's voice called loudly, making us all flinch.

I looked to Alexius with a look that clearly said, 'This is your fault and I have no problems with throwing you under the bus'.

"Alexius, Rhiannon, how about you come out and say hello to your fellow peers?" Dumbledore's tone held an underline of amusement.

It was like slow-motion when Alexius and I looked to each other. With no hesitation whatsoever, I pushed Alexius out from behind the column in the open. He stumbled barely staying on his feet, as soon as he steadied himself he gave a handsome smile and wave in everyone's direction nodding.

Rolling my eyes, Lavender and I waltzed out after him. "This was completely his fault!" I yelled, pointing to my brother-figure childishly. "He's the one who apparated us to Romania and bought the dragons, I blame him all the way." I held my hands up innocently, Alexius's mouth falling open at how I just blamed him outright.

To be fair, we always did this to each other.

"You're the one who got the date confused and apparated us three fucking days late!" He yelled back, looking to the Professors.

We knew wizards apparated to get to places, so we referred to everything in a non-suspicious way. Whispers broke out through the body of students, mainly things going around such as 'Lunatic Lightly's'. I smiled at that, Alexius joining me as he smirked mischievously to the student body.

My eyes were quick to meet Tom's bright mysterious irises. For the first time, Tom looked at me akin to what I believed to be relief. They suddenly turned hard, as he gazed upon me looking me over—his gaze lingering a moment longer on my chest.

So my boobs have gotten bigger.

Breaking gazes from Tom, I looked over to Alexius who was nodding his head in appreciation at the female population of Hogwarts. I rolled my eyes knowing it wouldn't be too long until a prefect found Alexius fucking a girl in the broom closet after curfew.

His gaze suddenly met the irises of Tom Riddle. Alexius's brown color suddenly peeked in recognition, flicking back and forth between Tom and I not so subtly. Alexius found the need to wink at Tom in an odd way, making Tom tilt his head narrowing his eyes.

"Jesus Christ, please Alexius." I muttered in a low-tone, begging for Alexius not embarrass me in any way.

"OH MY LORD, WHY IF IT ISN'T TO-" My hand whipped out so fast, it was just a blur of motion.

Within a millisecond the palm of my hand was covering Alexius's mouth. Alexius began screaming through my palms, licking it trying to get it off. I wrinkled my nose in disgust glaring at the seventeen year old.

"Don't say anything." I hissed, before disgustedly taking my hand away from his face, wiping his saliva on my dress.

Headmaster Dippet watched us interact, his mouth agape unable to believe our behavior. Pausing for a moment to collect himself, he looked at us sternly.

"So after you saw you missed the train; by three days, you decided to go to Romania and buy dragons?" The Headmaster stated, tone full of disbelief.

Alexius and I both looked to each other casually nodding. "Yeah." Our voices said in unison, causing for the Headmaster to rub his temples.

"Dear Merlin." He sighed, Dumbledore placing a calming hand on his shoulder.

"While it was incredibly reckless, I see no harm done. In fact the Care of Magical Creatures class now has dragons as a class pet." Dumbledore tried lifting the mood, vouching for us.

I gave him a thankful smile, something which he returned. The Headmaster obviously not wanting to deal with this simply nodded.

"I suppose you're right." He stood straighter, looking to the student body. "EVERYONE PROCEED TO THE GREAT HALL FOR THE SORTING OF MR. LIGHTLY AND DINNER!" He bellowed, making the students jumps into action.

With one last long look from Tom, he turned speed walking to the Great Hall—his followers just behind him. His robes billowed out behind him alike to some sort of superhero cape. I snickered at the thought of Tom being a superhero. He was more like a villain if anything.

Dumbledore turned back to us smiling kindly. Lavender left us to go with the rest of the student body hoard, waving a small goodbye.

"Why don't the two of you go change into your robes and then make your way to the Great Hall. I am sure we're all eager to see which house you belong to." Dumbledore said the last part to Alexius, who looked eager.

With that we grabbed our trunks off of the dragons, ordering Professor Kettleburn to be careful with them and we were off the bathrooms.

"YES! I'm about to be sorted!" Alexius shouted, jumping in the air clicking his feet together sideways.

We raced down the corridors, Alexius sprinting happily and me trying do the last few buttons of the white dress shirt. We had been quick to change into our uniforms, Alexius wearing the grey color meaning he had yet to be sorted.

I; of course, wore only the skirt and dress shirt—my robe and sweater no where to be found. The first few buttons of the shirt were left undone and the tie hung loosely around my neck. Alexius actually looked well put together, the uniform neat upon his body.

As soon as we stepped into the Great Hall, everyone went silent looking to us wide eyes. Yep, the Lunatic Lightly's were back. Patting my brother's shoulder mockingly, I scampered off to the Gryffindor table eager to leave the spotlight.

I could feel Tom's eyes following my every move, but I made no attempt to look at him. Leaving him curious was my best option. Alexius watched me leave him standing the middle of the Great Hall with a glare, as I quickly sat in between Walter and Lavender; Walter watching me in shock.

"Dragons." Is all Walter managed to get out, an exasperated look adorning his face.

"Hello to you too." I sarcastically stated, watching the Headmaster stand from his seat, flashing Alexius a welcoming but wary gaze.

"Attention Hogwarts students!" Dippet gained every student's attention. "As you already know our dear miss Rhiannon Lightly has finally decided to join us for this school-year." A few laughs rang out at that, people looking my way making me want to hide under the table. "But not only that, her brother; Alexius Lightly will be joining the sixth-year students as well!" Alexius gave a cocky wave at everyone, girls dramatically giggled eyeing him up and down. "Please do be respectful as he is sorted and no matter what house he may join I ask for every student to give him a warm welcome!" Headmaster Dippet announced, grabbing the sorting hat off the teacher's table and motioning for Alexius to sit on a stool upfront.

Unable to stop myself, I turned to gauge Tom's reaction. He wore a blank face, yet his eyes wandered over Alexius's figure—no doubt trying to pick apart any similarities between the two of us. Alexius excitedly pranced up to the front, sitting on the stool with no hesitation.

I watched, crossing my fingers that he would be put into Gryffindor. It was silent for the a few moments as the hat was on his head, Alexius silently muttering under his breath to it. Suddenly, the hat forced Alexius to turn his head to the Slytherin table—everyone watching anxious.

It was obvious the hat was considering placing him in that house. I mean it was true that Alexius resembled a Slytherin in some aspects. He was cunning, resourceful, and very ambitious. However, something just didn't fit right.

Alexius was too caring, too stupidly brave to fit into Slytherin. Alexius was determined, he was determined to show that he was not a demon—he was not a monster like most deemed him because of his parentage. He was honorable and chivalrous, and most of all courageous. Sometimes too courageous.

As if thinking the same thoughts as me, Alexius suddenly scowled at whatever the hat was telling him. Narrowing his eyes at the Slytherin table, he simply shook his head no and instead turned to the Gryffindor table with a gleam of pride in his eye—forcing the hat to look with him.

Inaudible gasps were heard from Alexius's obvious outright rejection of Slytherin house. People didn't reject the house the hat selected. Dumbledore tilted his head, a small smile eating at his lips as he watched the teenage boy.

The hat itself suddenly let out wide grin, chuckling. "GRYFFINDOR!" The hat's shout was loud, causing for the Gryffindor table to stand up clapping loudly—all of them prideful of Alexius choosing Gryffindor over Slytherin.

The Slytherin table glared at us Gryffindor's for our obnoxious cheers, and crude remarks.

"YES! WE GOT BOTH THE DRAGON RIDERS!" One first year yelled.

"Look he's so handsome, Gryffindor's finally got our own Tom Riddle!" Girls squealed, Alexius winking at them.

"Oh, shut up!" It was Abraxas Malfoy leading to the booing chorus that Slytherin was throwing at us.

Looking to Abraxas who caught me eye and only sneered at me—I smirked. He wanted us to shut up? Well, I was going to do just the opposite.

Standing from my sitting position, I immediately began howling loudly—my voice heard over the many others.

"WOOHOO!" I was suddenly standing on the table clapping my hands loudly.

Lavender began scolding me, and Walter tried but failed miserably to hold his laughter back. I stomped my feet, all the while holding eye contact with Abraxas whose eye was twitching. Alexius held his hands up in mock victory jogging to the table getting patted on the back, and having his hand shook as he made his way over to us.

"Together forever." He laughed as I quite literally jumped into his arms, wrapping my legs around his waist.

"Hell yeah." I hugged him, burying my face in the crook of his neck before hopping down.

Hugging Alexius was nice. It felt like home and he radiated warmth. Ruffling his hair affectionately, the two of us sat in between Walter and Lavender once more. Lavender who gave up on scolding me, nodded to Alexius in greeting a few laughs leaving her.

Walter held out his a hand, a grin on playing his lips. "Walter McQuillon." He shook his hand with a smile.

Alexius smiled back, nodding his head. "Thank Merlin I won't be the only boy with these two." Alexius said, looking to Lavender and I as we both gave him offended looks.

I smirked upon hearing the word 'Merlin' leave his mouth. Alexius may had been reckless, but he was smart. He knew how to cover his tracks successfully, after all he'd been doing it for awhile. His past forced him to. Alexius had a hard childhood, and it took him a year of knowing me for him to finally open up about it.

Alexius was the son a demon named; Crowley. However, Crowley had no clue of his existence; Alexius only knew the name of his father from his mother. The demon Crowley had walked into a New Orleans Brothel where he had been taken with; according to Alexius, 'the most beautiful whore around'.

At the time, Alexius's mother didn't know Crowley was a demon, and slept with him for a fair sum of money. Crowley was gone by the next day, neither party knowing that they had conceived an Antichrist. Later that very same year in the month of October; Alexius was born much to his mother's disdain.

Because Alexius's mother had been the most beautiful and most popular woman, the owner had allowed her to continue living in the Brothel with Alexius.

Alexius's mother was never pleasant to him, yet never abusive. In his eyes it was obvious she held a sort of contempt at him, though she never outright told him that. They were poor only living off of what his mother earned, making it so that she needed to hand-make his clothes most of the time.

She had also homeschooled Alexius, believing the public school to be mind-warping. It was when Alexius was only three that his powers began manifesting. His mother had dealt with it, researching what could possibly have caused it. At first she believed it to be her sins of being a whore which had caused this; however, she soon realized he showed signs of being an Antichrist.

It was then she came to the conclusion his father; Crowley, must have been a demon. She knew she would be able to summon him if she truly wanted, but she both didn't want Crowley corrupting her son and she didn't want to get into the Satanic requirements of calling for a demon.

What she didn't realize was Crowley was definitely not the worst of demons. Yes, he killed and yes, he tortured. However, he was not the worst of the worst when it came to the terms of a demon.

She had told Alexius of his parentage when he was eight, and made him promise not to go seeking for his father; something Alexius stuck by. Though, Alexius was always curious he stayed by his mother's dying wish.

His mother died when he was just ten, from a type a herpes—something Alexius was expecting. After her death he was no longer welcome to stay in the Brothel, so from there Alexius experimented with his power and began traveling—doing the most with what he had.

I admired Alexius for his bravery despite his rough upbringing. It wasn't until a year or two ago that Balthazar admitted to hearing something correlating throughout the supernatural world. Apparently, after the Winchester brothers managed to throw Lucifer back into his cage with Michael—Crowley became King of Hell.

Alexius wanted to investigate—possibly talk with his father, yet he stuck to his mother's wish. He thought it best if no one knew of his existence alike to me.

I was shook out of my thoughts by the Headmaster, quieting everyone down. "Let the feast begin!" Dippet exclaimed, just as the table was filled with the usual amount for dinner.

I supposed after all of last term, I was used to it. However, Alexius was not. "Hell yeah!" He smiled, beginning to shovel many foods on his plate making me laugh.

As I ate away the delicious food, I caught gazes with Tom. His cold blue irises glared deeply into my own and seemed to burn my entire body. I knew that look in his eye; he wanted to talk.
