Lucy P.O.V.

I panted slightly from heat while curling myself into ball on the large bed around me. A sharp pain shot through me and I whimpered to myself. I felt a shift and looked up to see Velvet curling up around me, protecting me from anyone who isn't my mate.

"Its not safe here Lucy," she spoke gently, "I know you're in a lot of pain but it's time to go back. It's been three days and the worst has passed." I groaned and leaned onto her side, which caused her to tell me to watch my heat. I looked at her tiny scales with disinterest. Her scales are so small, it looks like they are combined. I run my hand over the scar she dad from when I first met her and frowned.

"I- I don't know. It's just.... It's just that when Natsu marked me I was scared. I know was he Fedro and all at the time but he didn't really fight back when he chose. He just, let go of the control." I whimpered again as another sharp pain shot through me. They are starting to become more frequent now. Velvet purred and nuzzled my side.

"I know but try, please?" I nodded and got up, stumbling. Velvet quickly caught me with a chuckle and gently pushed me forward. I released a 'Hey!' before a portal popped up in front of me. I turned back with a smile.

"I'll miss you mom." Velvet chuckled before licking me. I screamed and tried to get all the saliva off me. I pouted as my scales absorbed the saliva, happy to get nutrients from dragon saliva.

"Bye love, I'll miss you too." I saluted and with a wink, flew into the portal, immediately finding myself in front of the guild door. It's just like before but this time, instead of missing for 5 years, it's just been 3 days.

Slowly opening the door, I came face to face with the other slayers. I felt out bond click into place and felt at home again. I have a weak smile as the door shut behind me. Another sharp pain went through me and I whimpered once again.

"You're in heat." Laxus spoke softly, surprising us all. The others nod in agreement as it became silent once again. I shuffled akwardly and stared at my feet. Wendy reached out to touch me but I quickly shifted back. She pulled back, as if but need and I felt guilty swell up in my chest.

"Lucy!" I was pulled into a hug by a blue blur, who imediatly jumped back with a hiss. Levy stood their in shock will rubbing her burned arms, it made my guilt double as I heard Gajeel growl and pull her close to him. "WHAT WAS THAT!"

"I'm in heat." I stared at her blankly. She nodded before calling Mira over, careful to tell her not to tell me. They both gave me sympathetic looks as I whimpered again, this time clutching my middle. They lead me over to a large round table where I collapsed in despair. Gajeel and Laxus sat down on both sides of me, pulling their mates on their laps while at it. Wendy sat in front of me and I watched as Romeo came over and sat with her.

"This is why I didn't want to mate a dragon slayer." I huffed as Mira gave me some ice cream. I groaned in frustration as it completely melted into milk. What a waist.

"Don't lie." Levi smirked from Gajeel's lap. "You've had a crush on him for years." I groaned and slammed my head on to the table. I heard Mira and Levy laugh while the others start questioning me. In the end I told them I had started forming a crush on Natsu after a month of knowing him and it's still with me after all these years.

Soon Lissana joined us and I apologized to her for making her hide although she was lateady in a relationship. She accepted it before teasing me about knowing that I had a crush on Natsu..

"LUCILLE!" I heard someone yell and flinched. Avery crash landed onto the table in an angry fit. She started cursing at me and telling me how I felt her behind. She stopped when another sharp pain shot through me and I whimpered. The others looked worried now. I know I'm whimpering a lot more lately due to the heat but I didn't think it was that noticable.

"Wait, who's Lucille?" Romeo suddenly asked. Me and Avery both fliched. Why must he be the most observant one here. I turned my head to the side where I saw Gray and Juvia in an intense conversation and thought up an excuse.

"Its a pet name Avery thought of. Though it's mainly an inside joke, you wouldn't understand." The lie flowed through my mouth quickly. I hate lying but they are not ready yet. I saw Gray watching Juvia fondly before looking around the guild. "Where's Erza?"

"With Jellal." Came everyone's response. I nodded before turning back to them with a smirk. I pointed over to Gray while the girls looked over and gasped, istantly fonning over Gruvia and how they need to get together again. I laughed and agreed before whimpering once again.

It's was like that for three days. Just laughing and joking around. Until......

Cliffhanger

Omg Avery what are you doing. You almost got Lucy discovered. But how will they unwrap who Lucy is.

After Edit: Hello lovelies. I want to state something first. Yes Velvet was in this chapter and she knows that Lucy is in heat. In farther chapter, if I hadn't edit it yet, she will not know. Stated in this chapter, you are given aware of everyone's positions besides Natsu's. Do not fret, I purposely left Natsu out to show that Lucy is trying to forget on what he has done. Anyways,
