Sorry lovelies *dodges brick*, I have no idea how to plan a date and I've been stuck on this topic for months so I'm winging it.

A new beginning is starting.

Lucy's P.O.V.

Natsu carried me back to our house where he sat me down on the bed before anything else. I'm so grateful to have him as my mate, I mean, he's so loving and caring. The way he saves me when I'm in danger, makes me laugh when I'm upset, comforts me when I cry, it's almost like it's all a dream, and that frightened me. What if this is all a dream and one day I wake up and it's all gone.

I must have dazed out because I felt something brush my tears away and flinched. I looked up to see a flicker of hurt fade away from Natsu's face that made me start stuttering out apologies. I shakily brought my hand up to his face, to which he leaned into and held back a flinch.

Gently, as if he was to break me, Natsu grabbed the tip of my chin and hovered his lips near mine. I deeply inhaled and froze slightly. He looked me into my eyes then down to my lips. He was asking for permission to kiss me.

This wasn't like how we where in deep mating season where all we did was fuck. This is something different. I can see the love in his eyes, the feeling to take care of me. I felt it in my own eyes as I hesitantly nodded.

He kissed me so gently, so sweetly, I forgot where we were. I forgot all the missing papers we left at the guild, I forgot their faces, I forgot how the guild betrayed me, betrayed us and the pity faces of the dragons when I exploded. Shocks of electricity shot down me from the kiss. It tingled with love and kindness.

Natsu pulled back and looked me at me in astonishment. He rested his hands by my side and knocked heads with me. I finally understood the gesture, Dragons do it to each other in comfort when one's mate is hurt or injured. I slid pass his forehead and nuzzled into his neck, shock like waves pass between us making me let out a shuttering sigh of content.

"You knew all along." I whisper. He freezes slightly before nodding. I realized he has been kneeling in front of me the whole time and pull him into a hug. His body shook with a purr that I felt myself return. He pulled away slightly and nested a small kiss on my temple.

"Get dress love, we're going on a date." He mumbled into my head. I shut my eyes and nodded, we stayed like this for a short period, me smelling his sent and feeling his hot breathe fan over my face causing me to shutter. Eventually, he had to let me get dress. He got up and walked out the room with a small smile on his face. I'm sure I was smiling too as he closed the door.

Then it hit me. That was mine and Natsu's first kiss after we mated. The thought made me blush brightly​.

Holy fuck that was weird to write. I still have ZERO idea on how I'm going to write out this date but wish me luck. Any suggestions for dating is accepted, along with fan art *wink*. Just kidding, I've never got fan art before.

Anyways, I'm sorry this took so long and I feel so guilty not giving you more, but I am trying, I'm so glad I was even able to write this properly. Lately my dyslexia has been getting way out of control and I need to write to help it out.
