(No one POV)

Lucy growled and huffed. Smoke came from her nostrils in response as she shifted into the rock. Now facing the direction the noise came from. She saw a flash of pink and got into a crouch, ready to tackling the anything and use her claws to kill them.

Suddenly, Natsu walked out the bush swearing and stumbling. She shot up and cocked her head to the side as she noticed him covered in tangled vines. He groaned as he held up his hand to her, clearly telling her to hold up. He grumbled  at his predicament, on of hi wings were tied to his chest while the other stuck out into the air and twitched. It was clear that he was flying and crashed.

Lucy stared at him as he got the vine more tangled up in his wings and eventually ended up on the ground biting at them. He squirmed against the floor whining and rolling around int the dirt. Lucy blinked before looking at him weirdly and breaking out laughing. Natsu stopped for a second before he gave her pleading look, which only made her laugh harder.

"Why don't you just burn or cut them off." She said with a breathless voice. Natsu gave a thoughtful look as he realized she was right. He groaned once again and burned them off. As he stood, Lucy shimmered off the rock and walked over to give him a hug. He immediately responded and wrapped his arms around her waist while she tucked her head under his chin. Her hands trembled as she clung to his vest.

"Hey, it's going to be alright. No one is going to hurt you, I won't allow it." He whispered to her. She sobbed into his vest and clung to him with all her might. Sniffing, she collapsed to her knees, bringing him with her.

"They didn't believe me." Her voice was high pitched but was a clear statement that rang around the clearing. Natsu shushed her and pulled her onto his lap, were he rocked her gently. His hand went to her hair as he pulled knotes out of it to ease her mind.

"Hey, why don't we get out this forest and go on a date, hopefully it'll clear up soon." She nodded against his chest in response. Not used to her quietness, he picked her up princess style and carried her back home.

Omg, I'm so sorry gu- *dodges brick*ys. I was going through medical problems (still am), my mom blamed it on my writing and reading and banned me from it. (Still read). If you were checking out my conversations on my profile you would know, then last week my family friend died. It hit me the hardest seeing as we had so much in common and I we were more in touch than anything.

It was terrible, I had asked my mom to take us to check on her in the hospital when I felt a snap, like a connection severed. I cried and minutes later, my sister got a text telling her she passed. It gets worse when they stopped caring after a day.

I also had a massive writer's block, and school was in the way.

I'm sorry, I'm extremely sorry.

Anyways,
