Date 3: Movie

"Popcorn?"

"Check!"

"Smoothies?"

"Check!"

"Snacks for when we finish the popcorn?"

"Check!"

"Water and juice on the side?"

"Check?"

"Movies to marathon with?"

"Everybody knows not to bother us tonight?"

"Check!"

"Let's get this show on the road!" I cheer and high-five Natsu and admired our handiwork. The coffee table was pushed off to the side and was covered in snacks, the couch was covered in blankets and pillows which I formed into a nest shortly afterwards, next to the TV was a stack of movies we have yet to watch and How To Train Your Dragon starting.

Just as I went stretch, I was tackled over the back of the couch into the nest with a squeal. My fall was cushioned but I don't think it really mattered seeing as my mate had a muscular body. I sigh and stretch myself across him, enjoying the warmth that seeped out of him. A peaceful silence spread between us as we watched the movie. Soon enough, 1 movie turned into 2, and 2 movies turned into 8 and it was nightfall. Sometime though the marathon, we had switched positions. I laid with my back to the couch and Natsu laid on me, his head resting on my stomach. It was peaceful.

Halfway through the 10th movie we ran out of all of our snacks. I pout as I finish the last granola bar. What? They taste good! Don't you dare judge me. After wiping my hand with a napkin, I lazily threw it across the room and into the wastebasket. Natsu let out a small cheer when it landed into it. I roll my eyes at his childness behavior and slap him lightly on his shoulder. He snorted and digged his head into my stomach before blowing raspberries causing me a laugh to bubble its way up my throat. I "try" to push him away and escape but he only held on tighter and blew more on me.

After a minute or to he let up, giving my stomach a small kiss before turning back to the movie. I gently rest my hand on his head and run my fingers through his hair and sure enough, I'm rewarded by purring a second later. I couldn't help but be thankful he's in my life.

So, I'm extremely late on this.
