Lucy stood in fairy tail, she didn't want to be there, but she had to for money. Lucy looked at the board. She didn't want to go on a job right now... She was so ticked off about her stupid feelings. Also about Natsu. She covered her eyes hair covering her face. "Come on, Lucy forget about it... Just pick a stupid job, so you don't loose your apartment." She whispered to herself. She shook it off, and picked the easiest job. Help a man work his magic restaurant. She mopped as she walked out with paper in her hand. Natsu was standing there as she walked by. "Hey Lucy, can we... Maybe.... Talk?" Natsu asked nervously. Lucy ignored, but he grabbed her arm. "Let go..." Lucy said softly. Natsu turned her to look at him. "Look, I-" Lucy shook her head. "I don't care, Natsu... You wanted to hurt Loke, cause you didn't hear the full story. So you thought beating him senseless would do the trick." Natsu looked down. "Lucy I am... You are..." Lucy gave him an angry look. "I thought you were a good person Natsu! But your just like the rest of them! You hurt me, and a lot of people. I can't trust you any more!" Lucy stormed out just like before. She was infuriated at herself. She wanted to believe not accusing someone was the right thing, but she did it anyway. Why did this have to happen...

Lucy was at her house seeing what she needed to go on her job. A knock hit the door. Lucy opened it to see Gray. "Hey Lucy." Gray waved. "Hi Gray..." Lucy stepped out of her apartment carrying all her things. "So your really leaving for your first job, huh?" Lucy nodded with a fake smile. "Even though we're not a couple... And your-" Lucy shook her head. "Lucy..." Gray hugged her, and she dropped her things as he wrapped his arms around her. "I'm sorry... I didn't mean to..." Lucy sighed her head against his chest. "It wasn't your fault, Natsu hit my eye, not you." Gray smiled hugging tighter. "Promise me you'll be safe, and we'll come home with some good food from that chef." Lucy nodded. "I promise, Gray." He pulled her head to look at his. "Pinkie promise?" Lucy smiled connecting their pinky's together. "I promise." Lucy told Gray good bye, and left for her first job!
