Confrontation

Celestia Rogue

Everything is dark and the sky along the moon is bloody red. I can hear painful screaming of the theians who is being dragged on the ground and countless of demons stronger than what I've faced in Yara, appearing.

The world is like hell and it burns, it destroys everything and it screams suffering.

The once beautiful place became a horrifying world, filled with darkness.

"Celestia!"

I can hear familiar voices screaming my name, I felt so weak as I looked at them.

Everything is blurry as I was lying on the ground.

Then I saw a pair of feet landed in front of me. My chest tightened as I look behind the man who is in front of me right now.

The feeling of betrayal is overwhelming me as I look at the god's grinning face behind him.

His eyes were full of contempt and wickedness.

"Look at me, Celestia."

Malamig na saad ng lalaki saaking harapan saka ako sinakal na nagpaangat saakin.

There I saw the man I love, filled with dark aura and menacing power around him.

"The moon is beautiful isn't it?"

I said with a genuine smile on my face while remained looking at me coldly as we flew in the sky.

"Aziel.."

I called his name sofly thenm touched his face. Ngunit tila ba hindi niya ako nakikilalang walang emosyon ang matang tinitigan.

"I'll kill you..."

Mariin niyang saad na mahinang nagpatawa saakin.

"I love you.."

I whispered with a smile as I felt his dark power piercing in my heart, breaking it into pieces. 

Hingal na hingal akong napamulat ng mata at agad na napaupo roon.

The anger in his eyes in that dream felt so real, it's suffocating.

Napahawak ako saaking dibdib habang hinahabol ang paghinga. Paulit ulit iyong nagrereply sa utak ko na lalong nagpasikip saaking dibdib.

Napahilamos nalamang ako saaking mukang natigilan nang may nag abot saakin ng tubig.

I was startled seeing Draco's face.

"What's the matter? did you have a bad dream?"

He asked concerned with eyes looking at me affectionately. Far from the emotionless Draco in my dream.

"Yes, just a bad dream..."

I said then hugged him.

"What is your dream about?"

Tanong niyang nagpabuntong hininga lamang saakin.

Nagdadalawang isip ako kung dapat ko bang sabihin sakaniya iyon.

"In that dream everything is in chaos."

I said then looked at him intently. His eyes were just staring at me, he seems worried about something.

"This world is in complete havoc and I felt so weak."

Napahilamos ako saaking mukang tinignan siya.

"And in that dream you were looking at me emotionlessly, in that dream you don't care about me at all.. and then, and then you---"

Mariin akong napapikit nang mahigpit niya akong yakapin.

"No... that's never gonna happen."

He said as if he already knows the next thing that I am going to say. 

Para bang alam niya ang nilalaman ng panaginip kong iyon at hindi ito matanggap.

"Look at me Celestia.."

He said making my heart race as I remembered those words from my dream.

"Look at me, Celestia."

That cold tone replayed in my mind. But Draco's tone right now is far from it. 

Ang malamig at walang emosyon niyang mga mata sa panaginip ko ay napalitan ng pag aalala habang titig na titig ito saakin.

It's as if he's scared of something, it's as if he's scared of loosing me.

The eyes of someone who could never harm me.

Looking at him now somewhat eases my pain. The tightening in my chest is gone as I thought that dream will never happen.

"I will never hurt you, I will never turn my back on you, okay? please believe in me."

He whispered making my heart race as I nodded my head on him.

"I know Draco, I know that."

I sighed then smileed at him then stood up from my bed.

"It's just a bad dream, don't worry too much."

Sambit ko saka iniligpit na ang pinagghigaan.

We were back in Zaveri after Eithan's burial.

"Why are you here anyways?"

I asked Draco.

"I felt your energy messing up, I thought something might be happening to you so I immediately went here."

He sighed then patted my head.

"I'm okay, don't worry."

Sambit ko saka kinindatan siya. 

"Let's eat some breakfast."

Ngiti ko saka akmang lalabas na ng kwarto nang bigla niya akong binalot ng kumot.

"You're wearing thin cloth, you might catch a cold."

Nag iwas tingin niyang saad na nagpakunot ng noo ko.

"I never catch cold with this body. Ang sabihin mo seloso ka lang talaga."

Natatawa kong saad saka kinuha nalamang ang roba at iyon ang isinuot saka lumabas ng silidd.

At tama nga ako dahil bumungad saakin ang matatandang hukluban na at home na at home sa bahay ko ngayon at nag aagawan pa sa almusal.

Wow the gods of mytheia is here in my house fighting over a piece of bread.

Napatampal nalamang ako saaking noo roon.

"Why the hell are you guys in my home?"

Taas kilay kong tanong.

"We felt your energy messing up so we immediately went here."

Sagot ni Kiara na tahimik na nagbabasa lamang ng libro katabi ang nature god.

"Kaya naman na pala ni Draco at inistorbo mo ang tulog namin kaya dito nadin kami nag almusal tanga.."

Sagot naman ni Leonard na nagpangiwi lamang saakin.

"Ang sabihin mo mga patay gutom lang talaga kayo."

Iritang saad ko habang pinagmamasdan ang mga ito.

Well I'm glad that they are okay now because of Aspen's return.

It was a few days ago when Aspen, the god of nature came back to us.

They are still warry of each other but agreed to cooperate.

"Seth?"

Gulat na sambit ni Kiara nang makita kung sino ito. It's the Emperor of Zaveri, Seth.

So that's why his energy always felt strange and familiar?

Napatakip siya sakaniyang bibig at napaluhang mahigpit itong niyakap.

After hearing her story and how she was forced to stop seeing him, how he helped her escape. It's no wonder that she is more than glad to see him again and even turned out to be a good friend of hers.

The emperor of Zaveri, Seth Drake.

So that's why they immediately got close despite of him being an emperor. He seemed to really care about her too.

"S-Since when?"

She asked, Seth smiled and wiped her tears as he handed her the white rose.

"I woke up a month ago."

He revealed making all of us stop.

"And you chose to reveal that now?!"

Iritang tanong ni Leonard na nagpangisi dito.

"I got carried away, nakakatawang makita kang stress na stress sa paghahanap saakin."

Ngisi nitong ikinadilim ng ekspresyon ni Leonard.

"Pigilan niyo ako, papatayin ko to!"

Inis niyang saad na nagpahalakhak lamang kay Seth.

"I found my core on a middle of hunting on a leak. Then when I wokr up I already gained my memories and power."

Sambit niya saka ginulo ang buhok ni Kiara sakaniyang tabi.

"I'm sorry for not telling you guys sooner, I am trying to silently gather information about Lucian through demons. At dahil mainit ang mata sainyo ngayon ni Lucian ay hindi ko muna sainyo ipinaalam."

Dagdag na paliwanag pa niya.

"Edi sana hindi ka nalang nagpakitang kingina ka, sulitin mo na!"

Iritang sabi ni Leonard.

"Hindi ka padin talaga nagbabago Leonard."

Natatawang sambit nito..

"I decided to show myself up, kasi nagkakagulo na kayo."

Kibit balikat niyang saad.

"Great to see you again Aspen."

Ngiti ni Allen na nagpangiti rin dito.

"Sus sipsip lang kase may gusto sa bunso nila."

Bubulong bulong kong saad na nagpakunot ng noo ni Allen.

Nginisian ko lang lamang ito.

"I'm glad that you're back."

Aragon said.

"But that doesn't mean you're also free from the suspicion."

He added making Seth's forehead creased.

"What the heck?"

He asked makong dylan look at him coldly.

"One of us killed my nephew, a filthy traitor who is secretly helping Lucian."

Mariing saad nitong nagpadilim sa muka ni Seth.

"I know, I heard, that's why I showed myself."

He said then looked at us.

"Why would one of us even think of betraying each other?"

He asked.

"Who knows? We might know each other well but it's been ages since our reign. Maraming nagbago at hindi natin hawak ang desisyon ng isa't isa."

Mariing saad ni Leonard.

"I just don't being stabbed in the back. Kung gusto niyong lumaban ay harapan, huwag kayong duwag kung sino man iyang tanginang traydor na iyan."

Iritang dagdag pa nitong nagpabuntonf hininga nalamang saakin.

"And how the heck would we know who the traitor is?"

Allen sighed.

"We all have no idea, right now I think we should still cooperate yet be cautious. This is the time to be breaking apart. Para nadin natin silang pinanalo kung ngayon tayo magkakaaway away."

Sambit ni Seth na nagpatahimik sa mga ito habang tila ba nagpapakiramdaman muna.

"Let's find out who's betraying us in the process. For now, we shouldn't let Lucian part us together."

I sighed then looked at Dylan.

"I know this is hard for you, but Mytheia and the heavens is at stake."

I added making him sigh then looked at us still warry.

"I understand."

Kuyom ang kamaong saad niya saka nag iwas ng tingin. It must be a hard decision for him.

Biglaang nawala si Eithan sakaniya ngunit kailangan niyang makipagtulungan at makisama sa posibleng pumatay sa pamangkin niya.

At ang masakit pa roon ay isa iyon sa mga pinakaimportanteng nilalang sakaniyang buhay.

Napabuntong hininga nalamang ako nang maalala ang mga tagpong iyon.

Hanggang ngayon at tahimik lamang si Dylan kasama namin. Tanging ako lamang, si Draco at si Leonard ang kaniyang kinakausap.

I also feel how there is still a wall between them unlike before.

That even if they try to act normal, they cannot hide that they find it hard to trust each other unless the culprit is caught.

"So what are you planning today?"

Aragon asked that caught my attention.

"Base on what happened before when I got a shattered core from a demon. I wanted to conduct a further investigation so I think should go to some place where demon attacks were reported frequently to get some infos out of them probably."

I shrugged.

"I think we should do that too."

Allen sighed making them nod their heads.

"We did everything in our power to find the remaining shattered cores around mytheia but couldn't find a thing. If it wasn't for that demon you fought, we wouldn't have a clue where it is."

Seryosong saad ni Kiara.

"Are you saying that some shattered cores might be on Lucian's hands now?"

Leonard asked.

"Indeed, there is a high chance that, that might be the case."

Dylan sighed.

"Then why would he put a precious shattered core in a demon?"

Naguguluhan kong saad.

"Lucian is not the same he's used to be, hindi tulad ni Selene ay hindi na namin kabisado kung paano tumatakbo ang utak niya ngayon."

Allen sighed.

"Ganyan talaga kapag may sipon ang utak."

Inis na saad ni Leonard na nagpailing lang saakin.

"He used to be a great guy, kung hindi lang sya tangang uto uto bwiset sya."

Dagdag pa nito.

Matapos naming mag usap ay nag handa na ako para sa gagawin ngayong araw.

"Draco?"

Takang saad ko nang makita ko siya sa hardin ng aming tahanan na naghihintay saakin matapos makaalis ng mga matatandang hukluban.

He didn't seem to hear me as he is covering his ears.

"Shut up!"

He shouted furiously, I can feel him emitting a dark energy as he said that.

I feel strange.

If I was still a commoner, I would  risk my life by being exposed to this kind of mana leaking out of his right now.

"Aziel!"

I called his named in a worried tone as I held his hand. Ginamit ko ang mana ko upang mapakalma siya na mukang nakatulong naman.

"What's happening?"

Nag aalala kong saad saka niya habang hawak ang kaniyang muka.

"I'm okay now..."

Hinihingal niyang saad saka mahigpit akong niyakap.

"Thank you."

He whispered.

"What's happening Draco? Is your curse coming back?"

I asked making him froze.

"Something like that."

Mariing saad nito na nagpatigil saakin.

"Why didn't you tell me? Kailan pa ito?!"

Kunot noong saad ko na nagpadilim sakaniyang ekspresyon.

"Just now, I'm okay don't worry."

Sambit niyang nagpakuyom saaking kamao.

"I am not convinced Aziel."

Mariin kong saad saka matalim siyang tinitigan.

"Ang lapit mo pero minsan pakiramdam ko ang layo layo mo saakin, para bang hindi kita maabot na kahit anong pilit kong pumasok ay hindi ko tuluyang magawa!"

Galit kong saad dito.

"Hindi ko sinasabi dahil hinhintay kong ikaw mismo ang gunawa pero pakiramdam ko ay madami kang itinatago saakin.. "

Sumabog ng saad ko. I've been trying to stop myself from confronting him since he seemed to alwats be troubled by something but I can't take it anymore.

"It's not like that Celestia! You don't understand--"

I glared at him.

"Tangina, edi ipaintindi mo! I feel like you're not completely opening up. Hihintayin mo pa bang may mangyari sayo? Your curse is coming back and you didn't even think about telling me?!"

Mariin kong saad.

He looks freightened and bothered and I don't even know why.

"Please not now..."

He mumbled while covering his ears that angered me more.

"Unbelievable."

Tiim bagang kong saad.

"I am trying to understand you but you're making it difficult. I want you to open up, I am giving you time but atleast tell me things like this."

Napahugot ako doon ng malalim na hininga.

"Cause everytime you don't, everytime I feel like you're hiding a lot of things from me, I feel pathetic."

I said to him honestly.

"But if I do, I'm afraid I'll loose you."

Naikuyom ang kamaong saad niya saka nag iwas ng tingin.

"How could you say so?"

Napatiim bagang ako doon.

"Don't you trust me? Do you even care about how I feel?"

Tanong kong hindi niya nasagot at nailing lamang. Naihilamos ko nalamang ang kamay saaking muka sa frustrasyon.

"Darn, this feels awful."

I said harshly then wiped my tears making him froze as he tried to get near me.

"Don't..."

I said.

"Don't get near me, I feel like wanting to punch you in the face."

Malamig kong saad.

"They don't approve of you for me, but did I care? I fucking didn't! They always tell me not to be with you, but I feel like I could go crazy if I push you away just because of whatever your origin is as they they suspect. I am willing to risk Aziel! I fucking do! But why? Why can't you do the same thing..."

I said with my chest tightening.

"You should've listened to them then."

He said coldly then looked away. My chest tightened on those words.

"Edi putangina mo!"

Galit kong saad saka nagteleport paalis sa lugar dahil sa bigat ng pakiramdam.

"Fuck that cold hearted asshole."

I cursed under my breath as I wiped my tears and wore my mask.

I went to the places were demons usually attack and randomly slaughtered them out of anger and frustration I feel.

"Not that! Just don't feed me that!"

The stronger demon I fought said, refering to a mana jewel I filled with holy power, it will surely slowly kill him in the most painful way he could ever imagine.

He is the leader of the demons I killed.

"I'll talk! I'll talk!"

He said scared making me grin while looking at him disgusted.

"Does the shattered cores in Lucian's hands now?"

I asked coldly as the demon nodded his head.

"Yes yes!"

He said.

"Then why does one of the demons have it before?"

Muli kong tanong rito.

"Lucian sent a fragment of the shattered core as a warning. It is a symbol that we'll win this war and he will continue his rei--"

I feed him the mana jewel in annoyance making him shout in so much pain.

"Pathetic."

I said coldly and was about to leave the place when I felt an unsual energy getting near.

I immediately blocked the attack with my hand and punched whoever it is in the face.

He was about to attack me again and I am prepare to dodge it, but before I could, a block of dark ice suddendly deflected it.

It's Draco who teleported in front  of me.

"What are you doing here?"

Iritang saad ko ngunit natigilan nang itutok niya saakin ang espada.

His eyes were cold and emotionless for a moment as he met mine.

But then he immediately put down his sword looking frightened as he again covered his ears.

"Stop it! I won't! I won't do it!"

He shouted furiously.

"Draco--"

I tried to get near him but he immediately stepped back as he looked at me.

"Please... Please don't get near me."

He said worried  that brought me pain.

"Tell me what is happening Draco, so I could help."

Nag aalala kong saad na nagpailing dito.

"There is no helping it daughter of the light."

An unfamiliar voice said as a strange man flew and looked at us coldly.

He has a pair of wings and has a strange mana around him.

It's an angel, a fallen angel.

"You..."

Mariing saad ni Draco na nagpangiti dito.

"Young lord, I am delighted to see you again."

He chuckled confusing me more.

"What is this jerk talking about?"

I asked Draco who is glaring the angel.

"He is my lord's son, didn't he tell you?"

The fallen angel said making my heart race, confused at what he is talking about.

"No! Not anymore!"

Draco shouted angrily.

"You might've gotten reborn, but he is still your father, young lord Aziel."

He said making me froze as I looked at Draco covering his ears.

"Lucian the sun god and the moon goddess, Selene's son, God of Wisdom Aziel, I know it is you."

He revealed making my eyes widened. I couldn't utter a word.

"Shut up! Shut up!"

He shouted.

"Draco!"

I said when I felt a menacing energy around him.

Pero nang akmang hahawakan ko pa lamang siya ay bigla nalamang akong tumalsik.

"No! Celestia!"

He shouted.

My eyes were blurry as I felt weak with the energy he emitted.

"Draco..."

I said weakly and tried to get up. I saw the angel use a part of a shattered core to knock Draco out as I weakly try to stood up.

"Let's go home, your father needs you."

The fallen angel grinned as it teleported while I try to stop them but couldn't.

"Draco, no..."

I whispered his name as a tear fell from my eyes before darkness covered me.
