Devine Beasts

Celestia Rogue

I WAS STUNNED, the moment I opened my eyes and saw a fascinating world.

Each lands were floating in the sky with a sea of clouds. There are also flying devine beasts around the paradise like place.

"Welcome to the sacred land of Devine beasts, your highness."

Saad nito habang ako naman ay nanatiling nakatulala sa paligid.

"I-I can't believe it..."

I said still shock that she took me here.

"Why did you take me here, guide?"

I asked.

"Flare, that's my name."

Saad nitong nagpatango saakin.

"Flare... that's a nice name."

I smiled.

"So why did you take me here, Flare?"

I asked while looking around.

Napakaganda at payapa ng lugar na ito.

"The higher devine beasts wanted to meet and talk to you."

She said then transformed.

Napakurap ako nang makita ang itsura nito ngayon.

It's a beautiful child with an orange hair and fire like eyes.

"I used to see you in my dreams before. It's refreshing to see that form of yours in person."

I chuckled as I combed my hair with my hands. I didn't notice that I am back in my original form now.

"Yes, I did sent you a message through your dreams back then."

She smiled at me.

"Follow me your highness."

She smiled then held my hand as we started walking.

Saaming paglalakad ay yumuyukod bilang paggalang ang mga devine beasts na aming nadaraanan na siyang ikinapagtaka ko.

"Are you a princess or something?"

Kunot noo kong tanong sa kasama na nagpangiti dito at umiling.

"No, I am just a mere guide. They are bowing before you, your highness."

She smiled.

Nangunot ang noo ko roon at nailing.

"Why would they?"

I asked, the child guide glanced at my direction.

"Because you are Mytheia and our world's hope. The last hope that the two great gods promised us, hundred years ago before they fell into a deep slumber."

She said making me stop.

"They promised you?"

I asked.

Ay wow, required pala.

But shouldn't the gods choose someone much kinder? heck I have a bad personality, bad temper and I am the opposite of being kind.

"Yes, you were what the gods saw before their downfall, you're our last hope. The one who can wake up Aisha and Perciival so we could stop Lucian"

She answered.

'Cliche.'

I said at the back of my mind then just shook my head.

"Ano ako alarm clock?---char!"

I giggled while we were still walking beside each other.

Flare does looks like a seven year old kid, but I feel like she's not.

"How old are you Flare?"

I asked, Flare looked at my direction and smiled.

"I am still a child and the youngest member of the higher council of devine beasts."

She said, I blinked.

"Like what? seven?"

Tanong ko muli dito, inilingan niya lamang ako.

"Parang ganoon na nga kung ibabase sa edad ng mga mortal. But my real age is seven hundred years old."

She said, napatango tango ako doon.

"I see, that's why I don't feel like you're a child at all."

I chuckled making her smile.

"If you were the youngest, then the other devine beasts must be a thousand or more, years old already."

I commented.

"Yes, they are."

She answered.

Hindi na ako nagulat doon.

Devine beasts are also considered as the creatures of wisdom, maybe because of how long their span is. The Devine beasts are the protectors of Mytheia, but they never shows themselves or let any ordinary theian summon them.

Unless you are a heavenly being.

Thinking of it, I know someone who has a Devine beast as a summon...

"Do you know a devine beast named Eira? she is holds the power of ice and is in a form of a magnificent bird."

I asked.

It is Draco's summon, also a devine beast.

Natigilan doon si Flare at napuno ng pangamba ang mukang napatingin sa gawi ko.

"Why? did you encounter her?"

She asked.

"A friend of mine has a devine beast as a summon, that beast is named Eira."

What I said made her face, filled with a shock expression.

"Don't tell the higher ups about Eira."

She warned, nangunot ang noo ko roon.

"Why? don't they get along?"

Tanong kong nagpatango sakaniya.

"And I don't think you should trust that friend of yours with Eira as a summon."

Mariing saad niyang nagpatigil saakin at nagpakuyom saaking mga kamao.

"Why?"

I asked.

"Eira, is a powerful, aloof former higher up who likes isolating herself. Me and Eira is Lucian's favorite when we all still thought that Lucian is an ally, not untill he betrayed the heavens for revenge. When he failed to put me under his influence with the help of King Ives, he used Eira instead. Eira is the beast who were banished from this world after wrongly giving her trust to the sun god. Isang daang taon na kaming walang balita sakaniya mula nang palayasin siya ni Haring Ives sa mundong ito."

Paliwanag niyang nagpatigil saakin.

"So whoever that friend of yours that could summon Eira? I don't think that theian should be trusted."

Mariing saad niyang bahagyang nagpuno ng pangamba saaking dibdib.

'I hate the sound of that... why does all of them tells me not to trust Draco? I hate the idea.. I know him and I still believe he wouldn't the things they thought he would.'

Napakahirap kasing tanggapin kung totoo nga ang hinala nila.

Hindi ko alam kung magagawa ko pang tanggapin iyon kung sakaling totoong kalaban nga namin siya.

Balak ko pa sanang magtanong nang mapansing nasa tapat na kami ng isang napakagarbong kahariang pawang gawa sa ginto at diyamante.

"Were here, they've been waiting for you, for a long time, your highness."

She said as she continued guiding me while entering the grand palace.

Ang bawat Devine beasts na nadaraanan namin ay yumuyukod at nagbibigay galang habang patuloy kami sa paglalakad hanggang sa kusang magbukas ang isang napakalaking double door.

Sa pagbubukas nito ay isang napakalawak at gawa sa gintong hall ang bumungad saamin.

Doon ay nakita ko ang apat na devine beasts. Mukang sila ang tinutukoy ni Flare na mga higher ups na naghihintay saakin.

"It's a great pleasure to finally meet the hope of Aisha and Percival."

They said.

The giant sea dragon with dark scales transformed into a blue haired guy with still scales on some parts of his body.

Ganoon din ang ginawa ng dalawa pang devine beasts.

"My name is poseidon, protector of the ocean and the waters, please to meet you, your highness."

He said, I smiled at him and nodded my head.

"Pleased to meet you too."

I uttered.

The nine tailed red fox also transformed into a ginger headed woman with his nine tails are still visible and looked at me intensely.

"I am Kitsune, protector of Mytheia's lands and forests."

She introduced herself.

"Pleased to meet you, Kitsune."

I said making her smile.

Then, the huge white tiger also transformed into a white haired woman, still having some stripes on her body.

"My name is Fenella, protector of the living creatures of Mytheia. I heard you already awakened my master, the animal god?"

Tanong niyang nagpatango saakin.

"Yes I did."

Saad kong tila ba nagpahinga ng maluwag sakaniya.

"That's a relief."

She smiled.

Napatingin ako sa gawi ng nilalang sa gitna na nanatili ang tingin saakin. It's a four headed dragon with scales made of diamonds.

"Greetings Celestia, I am Ives, the first devine beast and protector of Mytheia."

Pagpapakilala niyang ikinatayo ng mga balahibo ko saka sinangga ang kaniyang tira at mabilis na ibinalik iyon sakaniya.

Malakas siyang natawa doon habang puno ng intensidad ang mga mata na bahagyang nagpangisi saakin.

Pumwesto na ako habang ang mga kasama naman sa hall ay nagbigay daan para saamin.

Looks like the king wants to challenge me for a battle.

"My pleasure."

Bulong ko saka mahinang tumawa at sinangga ang kaniyang atake gamit ang aking braso.

Matagal na rin mula nang may huli akong nakalabang ganito kalakas.

He breathes an unordinary fire that is way hotter than anything in Mytheia.

I used my light power to attack him too since it's my strongest ability. Nagsalubong ang mga atake naming pinupwersang talunin ang isa't isa hanggang sa magkaroon ng malakas na pag sabog.

Agad akong nakapaglagay ng barrier upang hindi ako maapektuhan nito.

"Not bad."

King Ives said as he again breathe a devine power. Kung normal na theian lamang ako tiyak na naging abo na ako sa daplis lamang ng kaniyang atake.

I can feel how powerful he is and his attacks. Walang pagpipigil at pagdadalawang isip na para bang gusto talaga nito akong patayin.

He's a king after all, I am not worthy enough to fight him if I don't give all I can.

Sa sumunod na atake namin ay natamaan namin ang isa't isa. Hindi kaagad gumaling ang sugat na idinulot niya at ganoon din ang sugat niyang ako ang may gawa na bahagyang nagpangisi saakin.

Lumipad ako sakaniyang direksyon at buong lakas na hiniwa siya ng espadang gawa saaking mana saka ginawa itong pana at walang tigil na pinatamaan siya.

"Oh damn."

I frowned when his attacks hits me. Agad ko ding iniwasan ang sumunod na mga atake.

My hair and eyes is glowing as I fought the King with all my might.

He is a one hell of a pain in the ass.

Hindi ko alam kung gaano na katagal kaming naglalaban, ngunit nasisiguro kong ilang araw na ang lumipas mula nang kalabanin ko siya.

Napangisi ako ng malapad nang makita sawakas ang isang opening matapos ng matagal na pagmamasid sa buong laban namin.

Napangisi akong ginawang hugis ng espada ang aking mana at itinutok iyon sakaniya matapos ko siyang macorner.

"Check mate."

I chuckled making the four headed dragon laugh wholeheartedly. And then transformed into an old man as he smiled and kneeled infront of me, along the other Devine beasts who watched our fight that took a very long time to end.

"As expected to the hope of Aisha and Percival. You do have the blessing of the two great gods."

King Ives said.

Bumaba na ako mula sa pagkakalipad at hinarap sila.

"That was a great duel, your majesty."

I smiled at the old man infront of me.

"So why did you ask for my presence here in your sacred land?"

Tanong ko habang nakapamulsa't kaharap sila. This is such an unusual place for a theian, a normal mortal would have lost it's consciousness in front of the great devine beasts.

Pero wala akong maramdamang takot o pangamba sa harapan ng mga ito.

To meet such great beings, personally is actually an honor.

"We've been waiting to meet you, Celestia, that's why we asked Flare to take you to our sacred land."

Sambit ni Kitsune na nagpatango tango saakin.

"And there is another favor we wanted to ask you."

Fenella added.

"What favor?"

Kunot noo kong tanong sakanila. Nagkatinginan ang mga ito, samantalang si haring Ives ay sinalubong ang mga tingin ko.

"Make a contract with us and make us your summon. Let us help you whenever you need it, throughout your journey. We wanted to continue protecting Mytheia, tapos na ang aming pagtatago mula kay Lucian."

Pakiusap nila saakin, nailing ako doon.

"But having all of you as a summon is such a hassle."

I frowned.

"Please Celestia, we wanted to fight along side with you, nanganganib na ang Mytheia. Lucian wanted to turn Mytheia into a battlefield and challenge the creator. Kailangan natingin mag tulungan upang mapigilang mangyari ang malagim na trahedyang iyon."

Flare said making me sigh.

Just like what happened to that world where I died?

"Papayag ba kayo kung hindi ako papayag?"

Nagawa ko pang magbiro saka ngumiti sakanila.

"Well I guess, wala namang mawawala."

Ngiti kong nagpaaliwalas sakanilang mga muka saka nagbalik sakanilang mga tunay na anyo upang bumubo ng kontrata at maging ganap kong mga summon.
