Celestia Rogue

"The sun god will find you, no matter how many times those fucked up gods were reborn, he'll continuously find all of you and shatter you all completely."

That's the last words of that demon before dying from my light magic, preventing him from telling a word to that sun god about my existence. 

Nangunot ang noo ko nang maalala muli iyon. After that, A scene again popped into my mind, probably because of the other core part last time. I figure out that everytime I encounter a same scenario, a new scnery will suddenly pop into my mind. A memory that never happened to me.

As if I am peeking into someone's memory because of the core parts. Is it the two great gods memories?

"In that scene, I saw a demon too, swarming around that someone. Nakita ko iyon na para bang naroroon talaga ako at hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit ito nangyayari."

I told Allen, nangunot ang noo niya doon.

"Do you think it belongs to the owner of the shattered cores?"

I asked.

"Demons are created by the anger, jealousy, sadness, fear, greed and grief of a god. That's why their weakness is light. So I don't think if it's the two great god's memories. They suck mana as their food, that's why when the goddess Selene released them into this world, theians started giving birth to commoners."

Pagkukwento niyang nagpatango tango saakin. 

Then what are those scenes randomly popping in my head after receiving a core part?

"Then why is that demon in our university?"

Kunot noong tanong ko.

"He probably sensed a strong mana in that university or is just hoping for a meal with the students mana."

He shrugged.

"What will happen if adult's mana will get eaten by demons?"

Muli kong tanong.

"They won't loose their power but it will weaken and they will loose their minds while the babies inside the mom's womb will completely loose it's power once born if their mana got eaten by a demon."

Sambit niyang nagpatango tango saakin. So those demons are actually the reason why there are commoners in this world.

"That child who were born powerless won't be able to pass any mana to it's child anymore, unless that theian's spouse has is not powerless."

Dagdag niya pang nagpatango tango nalamang saakin.

"What happened after your fight yesterday?"

He asked.

"I pretended that I am also one of the victims."

I shrugged.

"Madaming itinanong saakin si Drashit, I just told her that a mysterious person came to fight the demon and killed it. Armani lost his mind, Glenn on the other hand is still unconscious."

Pagkukwento kong nagpabuntong hininga sakaniya.

"Patuloy parin talaga si Lucian sa pagpapakawala ng mga demonyo dito sa Mytheia. He wanted to know if we got reborn and if so, he anted to know our whereabouts and kill us before we get our cores and become as powerful as before. At dahil sa pagkamatay ng isa sakaniyang kampon ay mukang makakatunog na siya. Only gods and angels were able to kill those demons or rare theians that were blessed with Light mana."

Allen stated.

"Well, I just hope he thinks about the latter."

I uttered making him nod his head on me

"I hope so to, mahihirapan tayo kung sakaling mahanap niya ang isa saatin. The sun god stole the power of the two great gods with their core and shattered it. He is way stronger than us kaya kailangan nating mag ingat. Ikaw lamang ang makapagbabalik ng kapangyarihang mayroon sila at makagigising kay Aisha at Percival."

Sambit niyang mariing napapikit saakin.

"I want that to, para naman matapos na ang lahat ng ito."

Iling iling na sabi ko saka isinuot ang maskara at sabay na nagteleport patungo sa Kapital.

"I will go to the imperial library today."

I said making him stop.

"Why? is it because of a core part?"

He asked, napatango ako doon.

"Yeah, I had to check if the palace has it since one of my clones reported that they felt the presence of that core part in the imperial library."

I told him, napatango tango siya doon.

"I see..."

Sambit niya.

"Bakit? hindi ka ba nagpupunta doon?"

Tanong ko sakaniya, umiling lamang saakin si Allen.

"Hindi naman gaano dahil madalas ako sa gera at kung bibisita naman ay sa Emperor ako humaharap at kay prinsesa Rosette."

Pagkukwento niyang nagpangiti saakin.

"Ayan puro kasi kalandian ang inuuna."

Irap kong nagpangiwi sakaniya.

"I am just checking how she's doing and if she's okay, that's it."

He hissed.

Natawa lamang ako saka umirap sakaniya.

I DECIDED TO JUST sneak in the palace that day. Tanging royalty lamang kasi ang makakapasok sa library na iyon at ang mga maids na nakatalagang maglinis nito minsan. 

I hid my presence well and teleported to the library. Natigilan pa ako nang mapansin ang librarian malapit sa shelf kung saan naroroon ako. 

'Roma?'

I said in the back of my mind.

She's the imperial librarian now? taka kong tanong sa isipan habang nakamasid sakaniya. She's silently reading books and organizing stuffs. Lumingon pa ito sa gawi ko, mabuti nalamang at mabilis akong nakapagtago.

Why do I feel like she can sense me when I knew that I hid my presence well? 

Hindi ko rin maintindihan hanggang ngayon ang iniakto niya saakin limang taon na ang nakararaan. Para bang alam na alam niya ang mangyayari saakin sa panahong iyon.

Napataas ang kilay ko nang makita ang emperor na mukang balak pang gulatin siya.

"Greetings to the sun of the empire, your majesty."

Roma greeted politely, napangiwi doon si Emperor Seth.

"I told you to just call me Seth when it's just the two of us."

Iling iling na ngiti nito dito.

"You know that I can't do that, even if we were friends, you're still the sun of the empire, your majesty."

She said then faced him, nangiwi doon ang lalaki.

"It's an order, Roma."

He hissed, umiing doon si Roma na nagpasimangot sa emperor. 

"So what brings you here, your majesty?"

She asked.

Nanatili lamang ako saaking pwesto at nanatili sa pakikinig. I will try to find the core part, once the emperor leaves.

"I'm bored."

Sambit niya saka naupo sa mesa at binuklat ang isa sa mga librong naroroon.

"Then you should do your task now and finish it early instead of bothering other people's job, your majesty."

She shrugged, natawa doon si Seth.

"You're just reading all day here, were not so different."

He chuckled.

"Because I am done organizing the books. I did the tasks I am assigned to easly so that I could finish early and just read all day."

She smiled at him, napakamot ulo ang emperor doon.

"I have a meeting an hour from now, those Aristocrats are pain in the ass. I don't like seeing their faces, I feel like throwing up."

He hissed.

"Then make them feel the same too."

She shrugged, nailing lang doon si Seth na natatawa habang sinisilip ang binabasa ni Roma.

"What are you reading?"

He asked the librarian.

"A book, your majesty."

She answered in a bored tone.

Ang tagal naman ng dalawang ito.'

Reklamo ko saaking isipan habang kalmadong pinanonood sila.

"I know it's a book."

He frowned making her grin.

"I once red a novel, years ago. In that story, there is a prophecy, a prophecy that the gods saw before they died."

She started making him stop.

"A god dying? who would write a book like that?"

Kunot noong tanong ni Seth.

"It's just a book."

She smiled at him.

"In that prophecy they saw before they died. There will be someone who will save them, save the world they cherish from an evil god who wishes to destroy it."

Pagkukwento niya, maging ako ay natigilan doon. Why do I feel like it's not just a story?

"What happened to that someone? did that someone succeed?"

The emperor asked making Roma nod her head on him.

"According to the prophecy, that theian did succeed, but in order to save that world, she had to make a hard decision. She has to sacrifice herself in order to save the world she hates. If that world is full of cruel being, if that world only brought her pain, do you think it's worth it?"

That made me froze, hindi nakasagot doon agad ang emperor.

"What happened? What did she choose?"

He asked, hindi ko alam kung bakit ganito ako kaapektado.

"No one knows, I still can't find the sequel of that book. I just hope that she'll be happy no matter what path she chooses. I just hope that she won't regret whatever the decision, she will make."

She chuckled then looked at my direction, agad akong nagtago habang seryoso lamang ang mukang pinakikinggan sila.

"That story seems important to you."

Seth said then chuckled.

"Just invested, I guess."

She shrugged.

Nanatili lamang akong tahimik na naghihintay sakanila. Her story lingered on my mind. 

If I were in that character's shoes, what would I do?

I don't really know what path should I take right now. And if I were to ask to sacrifice myself for this world? I'm not really sure how to answer that.

"You can come out now."

Roma uttered the moment Emperor Seth, stepped out of the library making me froze. For a moment, I can't reach Leonard and Allen at all.

"Who really are you Roma? I feel like you're no ordinary theian."

I asked making her smile.

"It's not really important who I am Celestia."

She said meaningfully making me stare at her with a serious impression.

"Five years ago, do you know what will happen to me back then?"

I asked.

Medyo natigilan pa ito, ngunit kalaunan ay napatango din.

"I didn't know you'll come back. But I saw your horrible fate, that's why I tried warning you.

She said making me close my eyes tightly. I admit, I was too foolish back then. Nabalot ng galit ang puso ko matapos ang lahat ng pinagdaanan namin. Maaga akong namulat sa tunay na kulay ng mga theians at bukod saaming mga sarili ay walang wala kami.

I was too prideful, I don't trust easily. Too much that I am blinded by it. If I only tried risking on Draco and relied in him before, hindi sana nangyari iyon.

But if those didn't happen, then I won't be here today. I won't have the power to make a change, we've all been dreaming of. 

"Thank you Roma."

I smiled at her as I removed my mask. A tear fell from her eyes as she looked at me with a longing face.

Hindi ko alam kung anong mayroon sa emosyong nakikita ko sakaniyang mga mata dahil hindi ko mabasa ang kaniyang isipan.

"No matter what path you'll choose, I know you'll decide a way that you won't regret even in the next life."

She smiled at me making me still for a moment as I looked at her silver eyes that suddenly turned into gold for a second, making me stop.

"Who are you?"

I asked her, umiling lamang siya saakin.

"I'll introduce myself properly when needed. I can't be found for now, but I assure you that I am not your enemy."

She said then smiled at me, hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit ganito nalang kagaan ang pakiramdam ko sakaniya.

"How would I know that you're not an enemy?"

Kunot noong tanong ko, ngunit natigilan nang mapansin ang paro parong sumasayaw paikot sakaniya at bigla nalamang nawala nang ilabas niya ang isang bagay sakaniyang palad.

"A core part."

I said making her smile. Nang hawakan ko iyon ay doon lamang ito lumiwanag at tulad ng iba pa ay naging paro paro ito at lumipat paikot, patungo saaking marka.

"You're my only hope...please save him, save him from himself, before it's too late."

She whispered.

Hanggang ay tulala padin akong nakatingin sakaniya.

"Save who?"

Takang sabi ko.

Ngumiti siya saakin ng matamis at inilapit ang mukang hinalikan ako saaking noo na siyang nagpapikit saakin.

PAGMULAT NG MGA MATA KO ay bumungad saakin ang muka ni Allen na kasabay kong maglakad paalis ng tahanan namin.

I though then shook my head.

Nagpatuloy kami sa pag uusap, ngunit para bang nawawala ako saaking sarili at pilit na inaalala kung ano ba ang nalimutan ko.

"I want that to, para naman matapos na ang lahat ng ito."

Iling iling na sabi ko saka isinuot ang maskara at saka sabay kaming  nagteleport patungo sa Kapital.

"I will go to the imperial library today."

I said making him stop.

"Why? is it because of a core part?"

He asked.

Napatigil ako sa paglalakad na ikinatigil din niya at saka tumingin sa gawi ko.

"What's the matter?"

Allen asked. 

"I don't know, I feel some kind of dejavu for some reason."

Kunot noong sambit ko na ikinapagtaka niya saka napatingin saaking balikat. I froze as I saw a scene in my mind. 

In that scene I am in an unknown place again with someone I never saw but I feel familiar with.

It's a woman with a long hair and golden eyes, smiling at me, calling a name I couldn't hear.

 As if she's talking to me.

"Celestia, what's the matter?"

Kunot noong tanong ni Allen dahilan upang mapatingin ako sa gawi niya.

"I saw a scene in my head but I don't remember finding another core yet."

Takang takang sambit ko na ikinatigil niya.

"Weird, but I can feel that you just got another core. Did you absorb it without noticing?"

He asked leaving me confused.

"No, I don't remember, but I do feel it. I don't understand...."

Kunot noong sambit ko, nanatili namang seryoso ang muka ni Allen na para bang may ideya na sa nangyari.

"Cormac."

Biglang sulpot ng tandang na kanina lang ay walang interes na sumama saamin.

"We need to talk."

Seryosong sambit nito.

"About what?"

I asked.

"Hindi ka belong."

He hissed, sinamaan ko siya ng tingin.

"Is this about her?"

Allen asked.

Tumango lamang sakaniya ang panget na tandang saka niyaya ito kung saan at nagteleport paalis. Ako naman ay nanatili lamang na tulala habang pilit na inaalala ang nangyari, ngunit wala talaga akong mapiga sa utak ko.

"What the hell just happened?"

I asked myself still confused.

'Celestia.'

I heard a clone call me.

'What?'

I asked. 

It's my clone in the village, sa klase ng tono nito ay mukang may importanteng pangyayari kung saan ako ang kailangan.

'It's about your mom.'

She said making me stop.
