It's a part of life   
Problems are going to come our way   
It's an art of life   
To happily face them and say:   
"Welcome. You do your thing   
And I'll do mine."   
Whatever you do, I'll just smile.

My smile gives me courage plenty 
Keeps me from losing my sanity
Aids me in standing sturdy  
Against the onslaught of worry. 

I won't be burdened by the stress   
For me, it's just another process   
To test my mettle and make me steel   
Forged in the fire of zeal.

Burning coals scorch my feet   
Thorns rupture my skin   
But nothing can quench the flame 
Burning within.
