Tom Fletcher- Cliche Dream (h)

It was fairly safe to say that McFly had been one of your favourite bands since they were first a thing.

You were only a couple years younger than them all and in the back of your mind you'd always had that cliché hope of one of them meeting you and actually giving a damn.

When they'd broken up the first time it was pretty clear that your cliché dream was going to stay a dream – obviously you dated other people and had a couple long term relationships but for some strange reason your cliché dream never went away.

It seemed so silly and you knew that, the probability of it ever happening was definitely in the decimals but hey a girl could dream.

Of course, when McFly had announced they were getting back together there was no way that you were missing out on going.

You dragged your group of friends there and the excitement of seeing them live again hit you when you got to the venue.

"This is going to be such a good night," you told them all with a smile.

One laughed and bumped your shoulder with theirs. "Even better if one falls for you," they joked with a wink.

You rolled your eyes but laughed as well, knowing it would never realistically happen.

Once you were all inside, you excused yourself from your friends to go and find the toilets, but they weren't exactly well signposted.

As you were walking you bumped into someone, obviously not looking where you were going, and you looked up at them with a panicked look.

"I am so sorry!" you rushed out your apology. "I totally wasn't paying attention."

The person you had bumped into laughed and shook their head, and it was then that you realised just who you had managed to collide with.

"Oh my god," you whispered, sounding far too like an excited schoolgirl and not at all your age.

Tom chuckled again. "I'm guessing you're here for me?"

You nodded, dumfounded at meeting one of the members of the band that had dominated your teenage years.

"It's totally my fault though," he reassured you and at your confused look he quickly clarified. "The whole bumping into you thing?" he sounded slightly sheepish and ran a hand through his hair. "Yeah, I saw you looking lost and thought ending up in your path might help me start up a conversation."

To say you were shocked was an understatement. "You could've just said hello, you know, like a normal person," you teased.

He laughed but a light pink tinged his cheeks.

"Are you blushing?"

Surprise crossed his face, but he eventually nodded. "Guess I can't even deny that one," he joked with a laugh. "I mean, a beautiful girl at my show that just so happens to 'bump' into me, yeah...definitely going to make me blush."
