Being in a relationship with a comedian probably wasn't the easiest thing in the world, but that's not to say you didn't enjoy it.

Watching Joel's shows never failed to entertain you, which was good considering his whole career revolved around entertaining people.

You were so proud of Joel, most recently because he had reached the final of 'I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here'.

Not having him around was hard, but you did get to watch him each night which you enjoyed.

A couple of days prior to the final, Joel had been talking to Scarlett about his love life and opened up about how hard, at times, it was to have a stable relationship considering his job.

His job consisted of night gigs and he usually didn't get home until the early house, but you were fortunate to have a job that meant you could go to practically all of Joel's gigs.

You worked from home but you were able to take your work on the road with you, meaning you travelled with Joel whenever he went on tour.

Joel had wanted you to be the loved one that met him at the end of the bridge, so you were in Australia waiting for who would be announced as King or Queen of the Jungle.

After a few more moments of anticipation, it was announced that Scarlett was the new Queen of the Jungle and you couldn't have been happier for her.

Scarlett deserved the win beyond words – she was so intelligent, kind, caring and genuine.

The winner being announced as Scarlett meant that Joel was going to be walking across the bridge after the whole announcement was made, due to him already having spoken to Ant and Dec about jungle life prior to the final announcement.

A crew member had come to escort you to the end of the bridge, which was also where the press was waiting due to all of them wanting photos of when each celebrity came out of the jungle.

You were waiting with a massive smile on your face, and your smiled only grew when you noticed Joel walking across the bridge.

He saw you, and stopped briefly on the start so that pictures could be taken before you ran to him.

He caught you in his arms, enveloping you in a tight hug "I've missed you so much" he told you, his voice muffled due to your close proximity.

You pulled away from him, and he quickly wrapped his arm around your waist as the two of you posed for some pictures.

The two of you walked away from the bridge; instead of going to extra camp, Joel was going straight back to the hotel for some food as he was going to appear on extra camp alongside Scarlett the next day.

Another crew member showed you and Joel to the car that was going to take you both to the hotel.

Joel put his arm around you shoulder as soon as the two of you were in the car.

You looked up at him with a smile on your face "So, how ae you?" you quizzed, out of curiosity but also slightly concern.

Joel smiled in return "Tired" he stated before laughing slightly.

You laughed along with him "I've missed you, y'know" you admitted, cuddling up to him causing him to smile.

He leant down to press a kiss to the side of your head "I missed you too" he spoke in a gentle and affectionate tone; it was so comforting to be able to have him with you again and just hear his voice in person, instead of through a tv screen.

The camera that had been filming the two of you had been turned off a while ago, meaning neither of you had to worry about being a bit too close to each other.

"I can't believe I haven't seen you in just under a month" he told you.

You smiled up at him once again "I guess that means I'll be coming on your next tour with you then" you jokingly suggested.

Joel nodded seriously "You most definitely are" he stated, leaning down to kiss you, "You're my good luck charm Darling"
