Most people would think their girlfriend would be happy to work with them, but mine was the complete opposite. She gave me a really hard time even though I am one of the most admired scientists in the country. 

At first, she claimed she didn't want to work with me because we would "get in each other's way", but after careful observation, I have concluded that that is a load of bullshit.

I talked Caitlyn into letting me spend the day at star labs just to see what it would be like. It wasn't until I caught Caitlyn staring at me that I figured out her true reason for not wanting me at star labs.

"So have you figured out a solution? We can't just leave it like that, in fact, I have an idea! If we mix these two compounds together it becomes virtually invincible, you know which ones I'm talking about right? Cait? Helloooooo-"

"Well hi to you too babe", I chuckle.

Caitlyn just grins and continues to stare at me.

"Were you listening to anything I just said?"

"Not at all... But that's not my fault! You know I can't focus when you're around!"

"Since when did I know that?!"

"Since just now!"
