Monica’s POV

“Liam Payne”

As soon as Esther said his name, the crowd went wild. A few direction fans started screaming and some howling and I can feel my cheeks burn red. “Aw! Monica’s blushing!” Heather cooed pinching one of them.

Stupid Esther, saying my celebrity crush in front of thousands of people! Maybe I should return the favor… “Hey, don’t you guys want to know Esther’s crush?” I taunted as Esther widened her eyes at me. That’s right, it’s payback time.

“Hey! Why don’t we move on to the interview shall we?” Esther tried to change the subject but failed. Girl, no. All of them were interested on Esther’s celebrity crush. “Who is it Monica?” the interview asked excitedly.

You see, it’s very rare of Esther to fall in love with a celebrity. Normally, she just fan girls over the celebrity guys we’ve met and not really fancied them. But this lad is something, whenever someone mentions him; Esther suddenly becomes quiet and starts to blush. Just a thought of him makes her drive crazy!

“C’mon don’t keep us waiting”

“It’s…” before I could continue, Esther came on jumping on me and covered my mouth. She was on top of me as I struggled to escape her grip. “No don’t say it Monica! I’m sorry!” she pleaded.

Girl, no. You’ve embarrassed me in front of thousands of people and now’s the time to return the favor. I manage to pull her hand of my mouth and escaped her.

“NIALL HORAN! NIALL HORAN IS HER LOVED ONE!” I started to scream across the room as Esther chased me. “No no! That’s just bullshit” she sweared. “Stop swearing Esther!” Valerie reminded her. Heather suddenly dragged back down on the couch and gave us ‘you’re so dead’ look.

“Carry on with the interview” she told the interviewer.

The interview continued like forever. Maybe it’s just because I’m still embarrassed that the whole world knows my celebrity crush. Both Esther and I were silent; we didn’t speak unless spoken to.

The interview ended and we returned back stage and into the dressing room to change. As soon as we finished changing. Daphne came barging in our dressing room with an angry look on her face. “How ya doin’ Daphne?” Esther greeted her munching on some fresh crab meat.

“Didn’t I tell you that you’re not allowed to eat crab meat?” she told Esther with an angry tone. Typical Esther, she never listens to Daphne’s instructions and ends up involving the whole band in trouble.

“Do I ever listen to you Daphne?” she retorts and continued to eat her snack. “Esther” Heather looked at her with a stern look. “Ok ok, I’ll stop eating” Esther announced throwing the bag of crab meat in the trash can. How can she eat cold crab meat?

Esther’s scared at Heather, same with me and Valerie. She’s like our mother band mate and we often listen to her rather than Daphne. Daphne still looked angry and didn’t speak until Esther settled down on a couch.

“So waddup with the angry look Daphne?” Esther mentioned. Can’t she sense the tension inside the room right now? Daphne already look like she’s going to kill someone and she still gives her that attitude.

“You just have to chase each other during the interview!” Daphne threw her hand in the air. “You could’ve just let each other tell each other’s crushes without chasing each other like little kids on stage!”

“Woah Daphne, calm down”

“How can I?!” Daphne growled angrily, she’s not herself today. Practically, she just reminds us not to do goofy thing on stage again and just dismisses us. But now, she’s hot headed today.

A man in his 40’s suddenly entered the room and grabs Daphne at the shoulders. “Hey Daphne, calm down” He somehow looks like her in way… I don’t know. Maybe they’re related? “Excuse me sir, who are you?” Valerie asked politely as Daphne exited the room. “Oh hi, I’m Paul, I’m just her uncle that’s all” the man introduced himself. WAIT PAUL? AS IN PAUL HIGGINS? ONE DIRECTION’S TOUR MANAGER?

Esther must’ve read my mind because she started to point at Paul and fan girl. “You’re One Direction’s tour manager!” she shrieked and started to jump up and down. Aww, how adorable. Paul chuckled. “Unfortunately, I am”

Unfortunately?! What does he mean by that?!  Many girls would kill just to be One Direction’s manager! “Unfortunately?! You meant luckily right?!” Esther can’t hide her excitement and walked towards Paul. “In a way, yeah” he replied smiling at Esther. He seems nice…

“Wait is One Direction here?! Are they doing an interview here also?!” Esther asked excitedly. Man, she’s crazy for them. “Apparently, they’re doing an interview right now, after yours” Paul replied. “Would you like to meet them afterwards? They’re free today” he winked at us that left us grinning in excitement.

“OF COURSE! WE’D LOVE TO!” I almost screamed in excitement. “Ok, I’ll go tell the crew” Paul smiled. “In return, can you guys look for Daphne? I have to check on the boys to make sure they don’t wreck the stage apart- I mean if their interview is going well”

“Sure” we smiled at him as he left the room. “Well that was unexpected” Heather noted. “Yeah, Esther and Monica’s faces were red like a tomato!” Valerie giggled.

I STILL CANT BELIEVE THIS, AFTER 3 YEARs OF FAME, WE FINALLY GET TO MEET ONE DIRECTION!!! GAHHH I CANT BELIEVE THIS! SOMEONE SLAP ME!

I felt a hand slap my face, it was Esther: “Come on let’s go look for Daphne before we lose the opportunity to meet One Direction!”

“OK!” I smiled and followed them exit the room.

A/N: Hey guys! They met Paul! GAH! I don't know how to react if i get a chance to meet 1D! Anyways,in the story Liam is single which means him and Danielle broke up.I hope you Payzer fans won't hate me!

I also ship Payzer but i just did that for the sake of the story! #NoHate!
