Chapter 13

The week was spent in a whirlwind of preparations and schoolwork. It was almost like, to the hosts, that school didn't exist. For you, however, it most certainly did. After spending your days in class after class, and then studying in the library (or host club depending on where you were dragged after classes), Friday had finally arrived. After changing out of your uniform and into some jeans, Vans, and a graphic T-shirt reading, ""I lost an electron." "Are you positive?"", you head outside to the waiting limos. Once you arrive, you can't help but roll your eyes at the scene. Some of the girls had definitely embraced the "dating" aspect of the outing, already giving less than appropriate hugs to their assigned host. You almost burst out laughing at Haruhi's awkward and obviously uncomfortable face as her assigned girl proceeded to give her a very tight bear hug.

"Good, you're here. Now we can be going." Kyoya states, voice emotionless as usual. You roll your eyes and proceed to the limos, studiously ignoring Kyoya's hand pointing to the first limo as you walk over to the second one and climb in. You almost miss what sounded suspiciously close to a curse come from Kyoya as the twins and Haruhi climb in behind you.

The car ride to the venue is filled with flirtatious gestures and the batting of eyelashes as you try your gosh dang hardest to keep from strangling any one of the girls that you were stuck in a limo with. Instead, you distract yourself by coming up with nicknames for each of the girls, which you would use later when recounting your day to Robert Downey Jr. in your daily emails, which he insisted upon. Looking at the first girl, who was shamelessly flirting with Kaoru, grabbing onto his left arm so hard that you were sure that it he had lost all circulation in it, you studied her appearance. Surprisingly, despite her behavior, she was one of the least plastic girls, though it was clear that she was hopelessly in love with Kaoru. Wearing only some light pink eyeshadow and some mascara, her outfit was by far one of the more casual ones out of all of the girls. She had pulled her long, blond hair up and out of her face in a messy bun (though it was the "strategically messy" kind), and she tied it up with a scrunchie. She paired it with some jean booty shorts, a large BTS graphic shirt, and a pair of designer, black sneakers. You had secretly wondered if she had any pants on underneath the shirt, though it was confirmed that she did when you spotted her jean booty shorts when her shirt rode up as she leaned up towards Kaoru's face. You deemed her "Karen" and moved on to Haruhi's girl. You pause for a moment, tempted to just call her "Haruhi's girl" and leave it at that, but you quickly change your mind when you see the girl not so subtly rest her hand on Haruhi's knee. You grimace, sending her an ice-cold glare. As though sensing you gaze, her eyes snap to yours, a captivating icy blue that filled with fear when they met your own (e/c) orbs. She hastily removed her hand, instead using it to point at something outside of the window, drawing Haruhi's attention.

Succubus would be a good name for her. You snarkily retort to yourself as you take in her appearance. She had short, ginger hair, cut in a pixie. Her rather pale complexion complemented by a smattering of freckles across her nose. She, as compared to Barbie, was wearing a much more suggestive casual outfit, that could hardly be considered as comfortable at all really. She wore a low cut, V-neck T-shirt that left her cleavage clearly on display. She wore shorts so short that you could barely call them more than denim underwear, and high heeled ankle boots to complete the look. Judging by her behavior and her outfit, you figured that she was hoping to get more than a date to a BTS concert tonight, causing you to scowl at the thought.

Yes, demonic definitely suits her personality. Lucy would fit her, though a few other choice words come to mind....

Deciding that "Lucy" would be the most innocent name that you could call her, especially in front of Robert, you tried to recall the appearances of the other girls, from your short glances at them. It was clear that the one who was paired with Tamaki was a plastic (or at least the rich version of one), her strikingly green eyes brought out by her crimson eye shadow and lipstick while she wore a revealing yet elegant day dress that reached her midthigh. She wore some strappy heels and very large statement earrings, which were complemented by her pulling her black hair into a french braid down her back. She looked almost... regal... in a way. Thus her newly dubbed title of "princess". Though you made these nicknames for your personal usage, you were certain that Tamaki was already using that name.

Honey, oh sweet, innocent Honey. Luckily his pairing wasn't bad, in fact, she was a friend of yours, Sailor. A petite thing, almost as innocent as Honey looks, you and she became instant friends. Long blond hair, usually worn in a ponytail, with navy blue eyes. She was very pretty, to say the least, and many of the boys at school vied for her attention. You decided to skip giving her a nickname, as either her name or "friend" would work fine.

Kyoya's girl looked like she wanted to be anywhere but at the center of attention, almost hiding behind Kyoya as she messed with a lock of her shoulder-length brown hair, her grey eyes averted towards the ground and slightly hidden behind her glasses. From your spot in the second limo, you could see how she dimpled and blushed cutely, fidgeting with the sleeve of her jacket as Kyoya helped her into the first limo. Her outfit was relatively plain, with a pair of light blue jeggings, a white T-shirt, and a brown jacket over top. You decided to call her "Lily" because she seemed innocent and pure, like a flower.

Your mood darkens slightly as you think of the girl who was wrapped around Mori. You have run into her in the halls before, though you never caught her name, as she was always busy, with her nose in a book. She, like every girl paired with the hosts for this trip, was a beauty. Her chocolate brown skin complementing her short, curly, black hair.  She wore athletic, black leggings and a knit, navy blue, off-the-shoulder sweater with a grey tank top underneath. Wearing a pair of grey and navy blue Nike sports shoes, you couldn't deny that she nailed the "casual but active outfit". You internally pouted, thinking to yourself that you should have tried harder on your outfit, when you feel a finger underneath your chin.

Turning your head, you meet Hikaru's gaze, a concerned frown tugging at his lips, creating a crease between his brows as he studied your face.

"Something wrong?" Hikaru asks you, though it was almost as though he already knew. However, you refused to acknowledge your thoughts, especially to him, in front of two random girls.

"Not at all, simply lost in thought," you tell him, flashing your most convincing 'I am a happy and innocent girl' smile, as you go to move your head. Before you can though, Hikaru moves the hand that was on your chin and slides it around your shoulders, lightly tugging you towards him, causing you to fall into his side, your cheek leaning against his slender yet toned shoulder. You let out a breath of air in surprise, drawing the attention of the other passengers in the vehicle. "Umm... Hikaru..." You start, not quite knowing what to say, as all eyes were now on you and the ginger-haired host.

"Hmmm?" Hikaru hums distractedly as he messes with your hair with his other hand. You won't lie, his touch was rather soothing, though you are tense because of the unwanted audience.

"What are you doing?" You ask him, trying not to blush at the attention paired with his gentle touches.

"Just holding you," he answers, as though it is the most obvious thing in the world. "There is nothing wrong with it, or at least you said that nothing was wrong when I asked." He states, twirling your hair around his fingers as he raises a brow, sending a pointed glance your way. Realizing his plan to make you confess, you shut your mouth, deciding to give him the silent treatment as a deterrent. Though deterred he was not as he simply sighed and continued to play with your hair. Looking at the other girls in the car, you could see that Lucy didn't care much as she devoted her attention to Haruhi and her flirting. Karen, on the other hand, looked absolutely livid at the affection that Hikaru was displaying towards you. You swore that you could almost see smoke coming out of her ears when Hikaru leaned down to nuzzle his nose into your hair, resting a light kiss on your forehead. She opened her mouth, probably about to spew some frilly nonsense at the twin when Hikaru, as though he had anticipated this reaction from her, leaned down and whispered in your ear, loud enough for her to hear, "like that?".

Quickly catching on to his plan, you nod your head, "Exactly, just give her lots of affection and cuddles... And food doesn't hurt." You reply with your best 'I will educate this child' tone in your voice.

"Are you sure that it's okay for me to mess with her hair? I thought that girls didn't like getting their hair messed up..." Hikaru asks, the uncertainty in his voice almost believable as you shake your head.

"No, trust me, if she is upset or sad and not telling you, the best thing you can do is not leave her alone and be affectionate..... and don't forget the food." You tell him, as though reminding him of a conversation from the past, which you most definitely did not have. He nods his head, pulling you closer to him.

"Okay.... and what was the crying thing again?" He asks, as though he's forgotten something really important. You shake your head, putting on the best stern face that you can muster.

"Oh no no no, you are not getting me to fake cry right before we walk into a concert mister." You scold him, poking him in the chest causing him to wince slightly, as though he is wounded by your words. His bottom lip pokes out slightly as he huffs, turning his face away, pouting.

"Fine... Just remind me then?" You roll your eyes at his request, but reply none the less.

"Okay so, girls cry for lots of reasons, they are sad, hungry, self-conscious, have raging hormones. There is one more very important rule. Do you remember what it is?" You ask. The ginger looks back at you and shakes his head, a lock of his ginger hair falling in front of his honey brown eyes as he inclines his head towards you. You continue, "never piss off a girl on her period, it will be the worst mistake that you have made in your entire life, and I'm not even joking you. Just remember that girls cry when they're angry, because they remember that it is illegal to murder you." You hear Kaoru scoff and turn to face him. "What? Do you have something to say?" You sass, look at him expectantly.

"Well yeah, you make it sound like girls are entitled to act like brats because they are on their period. It's not that big of a deal." You narrow your eyes at him.

"Oh really? I have yet to meet a guy who I think could even have a sliver of a chance of being stabbed by 100 swords and not crying like a little kid. In fact, I'd like to see you bleed for a week, and not fricking die." You say, the intensity in your voice rising as you challenge him. Haruhi, sensing the increasing tension in the air, quickly steps in to defuse the situation.

"Well, personally, I think that Mori is a pretty good candidate for the 100 stab wounds test, he doesn't talk much as it is," Haruhi says thoughtfully, causing the twins to look at her in horror. She looks at them, shaking her head, "hypothetically of course." The twins nod in sync, though the dubious look on their faces remains. As everyone goes back to their previous conversations, you subtly lean into Hikaru's embrace, allowing his warm and comforting scent to surround you.

before long, you arrive at the venue, the driver hopping out and circling around to open the door for you all. As you get ready to stand up, however, Hikaru is quick to tighten his grip on you, allowing the other's to climb out of the limo first. Tilting his head down, he whispers into your ear, this time only loud enough for you to hear.

"Even if you won't admit that you're upset, I'll comfort you like you told me you were."

A/N: You know, at this point, I don't even know why I bother putting in the "I'm sorry for the late update" notes because I am so bad at updating. However! I can confirm that I do have the draft of the next chapter already started. and I am hoping (no promises) that the next update will be later this week. Also, I hope you enjoyed the references in this chapter, and let me know if you have any special requests for celebrities, puns, or references in the future. As a side note, a while back I did a poll (which I took down after a few weeks) asking what celebrities you guys wanted to see. The highest requested one was BTS, hence the concert. I am by no means a BTS expert and I apologize ahead of time if any of the band members are OOC. Have a great week!
