I don't have the words
To thank you lovely people
With your poetic wishes
You've made this poet cripple

I still remember the day
When I came to this land
Just a lost traveler
Looking for a place to rent

There was no welcome then
After all, I was a ghost
Just a curious reader
And nothing else to boast

My stay was really short
I was thrown out of the place
A little angry, a little frustrated
I ran away in haste

Who knew back then
That this was a sea of treasure
Two years later, this pirate
Returned to seek its pleasure

But this time it was different
This time it was magical
Though the reasons for that change
Were not at all logical

For the land hadn't changed a bit
What changed was the me in me
Those two years of life
Had found my lock a key

A key forged of words
A key cast with rhymes
Something that couldn't be bought
By any of the world's dimes

And then blah, blah, blah
All those things about life
Let's just skip the boring part
And get to the fun while we're alive

In all of you I got the friends
Who make my stay here exciting
Reading all your lovely poems
Have made me hop around dancing

No, not really
It's my heart which has danced around
With all your lovely poems
My lost smile I've found

So thank you dear friends
For making this day beautiful
Thank you dear friends
For making it this cheerful

And now I invite you all
To enjoy my little venture
Living it all with me
I'm sure you'll feel the adventure
