Kavalan was not an easy or smooth release , it faced problems both from industry and political parties . Aadukalam was releasing along with it , which had a smooth release . Some of the theatre owners used this as the reason to opt out the movie . Even fans fought hard for the release .  Just have a look at this video you will understand our situation during the release .

At last the movie released , it broke his failure streak and became a hit . Then came Nanban , it had a smooth release and was a blockbuster .(This movie is very special for me , because this is the first Thalapathy movie I ever saw . ) 

When all of us thought that all the worries are done , then came Thuppakki , people wanted to ban the film because antagonist was a muslim .

 Muslim countries oda terrorist group la muslims irukaama sikhs ah irupaanga ?! Aana religious point ah yaarume touch panadhe illaye ?! Padathalu oru second kooda ivan oru muslim adhunaala dhaan ipdi terrorist activities  panraan nu sollave illaye ? ( Terrorist organisation which come from muslim countries will have muslim members right !!! This was never even the issue actually , not even a second in the movie potrayed a particular religion in bad light .)

The worst part is all our muslim sisters and brothers never even had a problem with the movie . It was done by some stupid political groups .  All the movie potrayed was just a clever battle between an Army man and a terrorist . What is actually wrong in this ??? 

When the issue got finally resolved . These morons came up with another way . Kallathuppakki nu oru padam  , they claimed that the team stole their title . Idhu konjam neram nadanthuchu . Finally when the issue was resolved and both movies were free to be released , andha padam theatre ke varala . (The other movie never even released .) Now do you understand the scam behind .

Thuppakki finally released and became an industry hit . 

Then came Thalaivaa . The movie faced problems because of one tagline "TIME TO LEAD " .  Some unknown organisations threatened the theatres that they would blast the theatres if they screened the movie . The movie was delayed not for 1 or 2 but 10 days in Tamil Nadu .

Fans fought hard , even a fan committed a suicide . Following this thalapathy released a video addressed to his fans and the government regarding the movie . Finally when the movie released the same outside forces like critics and some organisations bashed it . Thalaivaa if released correctly would have been a hit , in fact except in Tamil Nadu the movie grossed decent numbers in rest of the areas . Even if the movie is a flop it will always hold a special place in all the thalapathy fans' hearts . 

Next came Jilla , this movie didn't have smooth release either . One of the producer's claimed that he registered the title before hand . Ugh!!!! The same old song . But the movie resolved the issue and released to be a hit . 

Then came kaththi , we all know how many problems we faced during the movie . One director said that the movie was stolen from him . How can this happen without he himself knowing it . Adding to this , some  organisations again wanted to ban the film claiming  the producer , Lyca Productions chairman had some connections with Sri Lanka . The productions had produced 13 films and distributed 7 till date . I don't understand why all these people kept their mouth shut in case of other movies . 

But then like a boss our thalapathy crossed the hurdles and released the movie . We all know how big a success it was .
