Our Thalapathy is not a professional singer but he sure can woo you with his voice . His voice can suit any genre and any tune . He has sung  32 songs  under 30 music directors till date precisely . Starting from "Bombay City Sukka Roti " to the recent "Papa Papa " he has never failed to impress us . His fans too adore his voice and wait for the songs sung in his voice .

 Not just them , the normal audience , the music lovers and even the music directors like his singing .

 Harris Jayaraj who made Vijay sing the peppy "Google Google " after 7 years , says " his voice perfectly suited for the tune and he sung like a professional singer ." Anirudh who made him sing the ultimate "Selfie Pulla " himself said that Thalapathy's voice made the song even more special . D.S.P who made him the sing the romantic "Yeandi Yeandi " says he wanted Thalapathy to croon a romantic song and adds that Thalapathy did it exceptionally well . G V Prakash who made Thalapathy sing the kuthu " Vaangana Vankaangana " says the song's main plus was Thalapathy's voice .
