"YOU are?"

Vraiose brother asked him. A friendly smile plastered on Leo's lips. He didn't bother to offer his hands, sa klase ng tingin nito sa kanya, one wrong move and he'll probably break his hand.

"Leo Erese Davis, Sir." Leo introduced himself.

Her brother's lips tugged up as he looked at him. Intently. The killing intention was there but Leo didn't back down. Hindi siya nag-iwas ng tingin. If he wants to be with the woman who changes his mind without questioning himself, then, he needs to face her brother.

Kung gusto niya na malaman kung bakit ganoon na lang niya kagusto na mapalapit kay Vraiose. Kailangan niyang tatagan ang loob niya.

He flinched a little when her brother smirked smugly at him.

"Kuya, that's enough. Umuwi na tayo." Vraiose firmly said.

Lumipat ang tingin ni Leo kay Vraiose, nakahawak ito sa braso ng kapatid at panay ang hila. Her brother didn't even bulge. Of course, that kind of body was tough.

"I'm still talking to him, Cay. Shushed." Suway nito kay Vraiose pero nasa kanya pa rin ang tingin nito. The smirked was still plastered on his lips.

Her brother folded his sleeves up to his elbow. Nakita niya kung paano manlaki ang mga mata ni Vraiose sa ginawa ng kapatid nito. She must be thinking that her brother might beat him in to pulp.

Leo just stood there. He's still a minor. Kampante siya na walang gagawin sa kanya ang kapatid ni Vraiose.

"You're a brave soul for not avoiding my gaze that day." His voice was hoarse and surprisingly calm. He placed his hands inside his jeans pockets. "And for facing me now." He added.

Leo straightened his back when he stepped forward.

"Kiddo, hindi ka ba natatakot sa pwede kong gawin sayo? I don't care if you just want to be friends with my sister. Lalaki ka. At ayaw ko na may ibang lalaki na lumalapit sa mga kapatid ko." Vraiose brother dangerously said.

Leo smiled at him. Not feeling the fear he was trying to inflict on him.

"Kuya! I said that's enough! Umuwi na tayo. Leave him alone!" He heard Vraiose, nanginginig pa ang boses nito.

"Naintindihan ko kung bakit ganoon ka kaingat sa mga kapatid mo, Sir. I have a sister too, although she's older than me. But I still have the sense of responsibility to protect her, for I know men, like us, can possibly hurt her in any ways." Leo answered.

Tumaas ang kilay nito sa kanya. Leo glanced at Vraiose, nakahawak na lang ito sa braso ng kapatid and she look like she'll passed out any time. She must be scared. She's lucky to have a brother like him.

"Be wary of me, I don't mind. But I'm telling you this… wala akong balak na masama sa kapatid mo kaya wala ako na dapat ikatakot. If I did something in the future na pwedeng makasakit sa kanya. I assure you, hindi ako tatakas. I will let you beat me into pulp."

Vraiose brother smirked and later on, that smirked turned into laughter. He was laughing at him and even pat his shoulder.

"My father will surely like you. Kung ganyan lang sana ang tarantado kong kaibigan…" he whispered.

Kumunot ang noo ni Leo rito. What does he meant by that?

"Is she… okay?" nag-aalala na tanong niya nang makita na hindi na halos gumalaw si Vraiose.

Inakbayan nito ang kapatid at hinalikan ang gilid ng ulo ni Vraiose. "Yeah, she'll be fine. Natakot ko lang,"

"Ahm, pwede po ba na maghintay kayo saglit dito? May ibibigay ako kay Vraiose."

Bahagya lang ito na tumango sa kanya. Leo immediately went back inside their house and saw his sister holding a small box, ang cake na ipapabaon niya kay Vraiose. His sister actually prepared it for his visitor.

"Leo! Wala kang sugat… Thank God!" His sister cupped his cheeks and scanned his face. "Naihanda ko na ang first aid kit natin sa sobrang kaba ko. I mean, that was Jyrelle Vraxx Clemente!"

Bahagya siyang natawa sa ginawa nito sa kanya.

"I'm fine, Ate!" Tumatawa na sagot niya rito.

Pisces sighed and let go of his face. "Huwag mo pangarapin si Vraiose ha? Baka ang pag-aalala ko sayo ang ikamatay ko, Leo!"

"You're just overreacting," he chuckled and get the small box she's holding. "Akin na 'to, naghihintay sila sa labas."

Mabilis siyang lumabas ulit sa bahay nila. Leo sighed in relief when he saw Vraiose talking to her brother, sinisipa pa nito ang kapatid nito. Of course, her brother was avoiding her kicks.

"Here, thanks for waiting." Leo said and handed the cake to Vraiose.

Nailang siya nang kaunti dahil sa titig ng kapatid nito sa kanilang dalawa ni Vraiose.

"Thank you, mauuna na kami." Paalam nito.

Tumango lang si Leo habang pinapanood ang magkapatid na sumakay sa sasakyan. He was standing outside their house, hanggang sa mawala sa paningin niya ang sasakyan, saka lang siya pumasok sa loob ng bahay nila.

VRAIOSE mind shut down midway. Sa takot na baka saktan ng kapatid niya si Leo. Nasa hita niya ang cake na bigay ni Leo.

"Princess…" her brother called her. "Hindi pa kayo pwedeng mag boyfriend."

Lumingon si Vraiose sa kapatid niya at nakita na nakangisi ito sa kanya. Ever since she came back to her senses, ang nakakairita na ngisi nito ang una niyang nakita.

"I'm not planning to have one, Kuya. You can stop scaring Leo."

Mahina itong tumawa sa sagot niya. Her brother glanced at her. Parang tinatantya pa nito kung nagsasabi siya ng totoo o hindi. How could she possibly lie? She feels nothing towards Leo.

Well, hindi naman sa wala. Vraiose was having a hard time deciphering her own feelings, especially when Leo was just around her.

"I like that guy, Cay." Napalingon siya sa kapatid niya. Vraiose was staring at her brother. Dumbfounded.

"A-ano? May sinabi ka Kuya?" She asked.

Tumawa lang ito at tumango sa kanya, "I like that guy." Ulit nito.

"No way, hindi ako mahuhulog sa patibong mo." Vraiose crossed her arms against her chest and rolled her eyes.

"It's not a trap! Seriously, if you're going to have a man and it was him? Papayag ako. Ako na rin ang bahala kay Daddy."

Lumalim ang gatla sa noo ni Vraiose sa narinig niya. Of all people, Vyrlle and Vraiose knows how strict their brother was. Mas mahigpit pa nga ito sa Daddy nila! And here he was, telling her that if one day she'll get a boyfriend, ayos lang dito basta si Leo?

It's freaking Vraiose out! Hindi ito ang kilala niyang kapatid niya!

Kahit ang kaibigan nito ay hindi hinahayaan na makalapit kay Vyrlle. Even though, Light Perez was obviously into someone else.

"Kuya, I think you need to rest." Nag-aalala na sabi niya sa kapatid.

Kanina, habang nag-uusap ang dalawa. Halos wala talaga siyang maintindihan dahil sa takot at kaba na nararamdaman niya para kay Leo. She doesn't have any slightest idea what he did o kung ano man ang sinabi nito sa Kuya niya para magkaganito ito.

"What?" hindi makapaniwala na tanong nito sa kanya. "Baby, I'm fine."

"No, you're not! Kuya, hindi ikaw 'to!" Sigaw niya.

"Yeah, yeah. No need to shout, baby." Jyrelle, her brother, dryly answered. Although, the annoying smirk was still on his lips. It's creeping her!

Rayos wanted to end their conversation this instant. Sa kasamaang palad, naipit sila sa traffic and her brother looks like he wasn't planning to stop talking.

Lumingon sa kanya ang kapatid niya at marahan na hinaplos ang pisngi niya.

"Alam niyo naman kung gaano kagago ang Kuya niyo 'diba? I want a man who can bravely introduce himself to me and to our father, yung hindi kami iiwasan just because he's nervous. Honestly, that's bullshit. Bakit ka kakabahan, e magpapakilala ka lang naman sa tatay at kapatid ng magiging girlfriend mo? Unless, his love for you was half-baked. Unless, he's planning to do something behind your back. Baka mapatay ko talaga ang gago."

"How about Kuya Light?" she asked.

"Kilala ko naman si Light. He's a different case, Cay."

"And Leo? Ano ang ginawa niya para magustuhan mo siya?" her curiosity was driving her insane.

"I just like him. He'll be a good guy to you, ramdam ko na 'yon." Kampante na sagot nito sa kanya. "As I've said, if ever na magtangka 'yon na manligaw sayo. Ako ang bahala kay Daddy." Lumingon sa kanya ang kapatid niya at pabiro na kumindat.

Rayos chuckled and shook her head. She can't believe that she's having a conversation about her future love life, if ever, with her brother. Without him, freaking out.

Truly, they were very lucky to have him as their brother. Despite his flaws as a man, Jyrelle, their brother never failed to do his duty as their loving brother.
