Chapter Twenty Two-Adrenalin
Once he said that, the place began to tear to pieces, and once someone got caught in the tornado of debris, blood and guts spewed everywhere, and there were a lot of casualties, so there was a lot of blood. It blinded some, but this was my chance to kill as many as possible, before they got away. I simply threw them into the debris, and that would be the end of them the instant they hit his fist of rage, or a hovering piece of wood. I was trying to move closer to Archland, to take her down, I couldn't kill her, she was too important. Even if she caused something like a world war. Someone slashed at me, so I dodged and kicked them into the ruble. More came at me, so I kicked them in too.
Django then came into view, so I had to choose. Archland, or Django? Archland could wait, but Django, he needed to pay. I launched onto him, belted him across the face, before he flipped me over, and began to strangle me. I fought, but couldn't get out, until Archland came back, and stabbed him in the back, his blood spewed over me, mostly my face. She then hovered up and carried him by the shard of wood, then began to leave. I got up and dashed for Archland. I reached for her hand. In which she turned to face me, still hanging Django by the wood shard.
"You know we're a house that's divided, so we do you still care for me?
I kicked you off a train. I killed so many, yet you still want me alive?"
She said, and I confessed a secret I've had for a while. "Archland, I did love you, and still somewhat do, just join our side, drop Django, and nothing bad will happen to you. Please, this is hard already."
She becomes enraged. at least in her face, she clearly hated me. "Don't you get it? Weren't you best friends with Chesire? Where do you think he went? Conquering the world with me? He always went with you, and he wanted to go after you, help you, with my help. I denied it, and he asked if I kicked him off, though he already knew the answer, and began to try to kill me, so what did I do? Defend myself, and after I was done with him, I threw him off too."
I gawped at her statement, then she continued. "So, do you love me now?"
I looked up to her, starstruck from what to do. She giggled. "Pathetic. So pathetic."
she cackles out as the doors close, leaving me to talk with John. He's already back to normal.
He walks up to me, somewhat depressed. I look to him, and he looks back.
"Well, any ideas of where to go? What to do? It's why Commander Corami was there, because I wasn't a good planner. I'm not even a good one now."
He says in confession. "Well, I don't know either."
I say back, in sadness.
"Who was Cheshire? Before he died?"
I ask in wonder. John turns to face me, in which his eyes start watering up. I comfort him, but he holds up, and starts to say the story of my best friend. "Chesire, was an amazing boy, with spectacular talents, and he was your friend. He requested I be your teacher, and that I try to teach my talents to you, so you could be as good as him. I accepted it, and you two were the best of friends in not even a day."
Tears then slowly streamed down his cheeks as he continued to speak. "Cheshire, asked for one thing, and one thing only, and that was to fight with you in battle, against the X-HORITTIE, in a final battle, then to come down and see the wasteland for himself, and it's so ironic that he died from falling into it."
He's now in tears, waiting to say one more thing. He was just waiting for me to say something. One thing to answer all I've asked for years. "Why were you so compliant with him?"
I ask, before his tears looks like waterfalls. "Cheshire, he was my son, he was always my forever loved son."
He answered before curling into his chest in tears, and I patted him on the back, thinking of what to do. "I have an idea of where to go, come, please."
I say before we embark on a walk back to the wasteland, to find some more people to fight back against Django and Archland.
