Chapter Twenty Six-The Truth
"Where do you want me to put him, Steward?"
Norel asks in a light tone, before I direct him to a dungeon. Norel throws Django heavily into it, before shutting it and strolling back over to me. He kept on looking back to Django, thinking of where Django actually is in his big plan. "Done. Found anything useful?"
Norel says, before sitting down to take a break. He looks back again to Django, this time with confusion, then again with curiosity. The signals in his face was showing he wanted to talk to Django, about what he was planning. Django was bringing a finger to himself, letting Norel into something. Norel began to tiptoe to Django's cage, and I saw him.
I walked to Django with him, and I think John got the point, and started doing the thing I was doing before this. We tiptoed up to his cage, went inside, and locked it. Norel and I could get out, it's just that we couldn't let Django out, so we needed to be careful. Norel let me in first, then himself, looking to John to see if he'd come in. He signaled Norel it was fine to leave him, in which he simply closed the door, and left Norel and I with Django.
"Wow, you listened. Not part of my plan at all. How compliant you two puppets are."
Norel growled at Django,Django stopped, smirked, and continued mocking us both. "One joined the devil's wrath, and the other actually helped me, with all of my planning. Thank you to the both of you, but I don't remember you getting anything but death from here on out."
Norel looked like he could tear off more of Django's limbs.
"The Truth, Django. Now."
Norel commands. "Alright, alright. Jeez. Okay. Well, the beginning. The timing was almost perfect, the destruction of everything. People like me, they took the dead bodies of certain people, and used them to power three floating islands. One of them we're under. Once they got the hang of it, they created people to protect these islands. People, call Shadow Knights. Norel, used to have been a human, but thanks to the radiated wasteland, he was turned into a grotesque creature of pure power."
"Archland, she and Charlotte was down in the wasteland too, and thanks to Archland finding out her sister had powers, once Archland had powers of her own, she gave the order to kill Charlotte, too afraid of her ruining her plans. Look who helped, it should have been the soldiers, but you butted in, and almost spilled her blood on your hands, giving you the powers of Charlotte, interfering. I had to kill Charlotte the way I did as, if you killed her, you'd get her blood on you, and you'd gain the powers of god himself."
Both Norel and I eyes were slowly widening with every word that came out of Django's mouth. Norel looks at me, shocked as ever, looking at me, then himself. Django smiles, then continues. "I was simply a commander for the full frame, and I'd be killed by her hands eventually, that's what I signed up for. I wasn't afraid of Death, so I joined, wanting to join my dead wife and children. There, now are you done with all the questions?"
Django finishes, before Norel reaches out a hand to Django. "Well, you said you wanted to die, so join us, at least one of us will die, and if you want to, why don't you join the deathwish party?"
Then, the earth rattles, and, something is off, literally. The island above us, was turned halfway, on it's end, with buildings, people, cars, tanks, everything on the Barlynian Sector, had started to crumble apart. Everybody grabbed everything they could, John, Norel and I grabbed our things from before. Django grabbed a hand cannon, a cloak. He also grabbed a sword. "This is it, the end. Let's finish this."
Norel says before we charge up a hill to the Trevlenian Sector, to get there and stop the destruction of another sector.
