Chapter Twenty Five-A Powerful Bounty
"What should I take, Steward?"
John asks me as I search through a chest full of guns, blades, armors, and even food, and explosives. This must've been their extra-storage for when the lockers ran out. How convenient that the chest had no damage, and that nobody found it and robbed it. I grabbed out a sidearm (handgun) and a dagger, ionized to a plasmatic level (formed with super heated gas, to form a powerful casing of death around the normal dagger), along with a Jacket, leg platings, boots, and a face mask.
John had an auto rifle, head-to-toe Juggernaut armour (heavily armoured soldier of war), explosives, and an apple. I gave a thumbs up, and he marched out, probably feeling like Iron Man, as he kind of is. i walk out, already having my weapons holstered, and Norel was already armoured before hand. He was in a relaxed position, but unsettled once John and I came out.
He went out first and fired up a speeder he found in the armouries. He pulled a lever, and the engine began to roar, and the vehicle rattled with it's power. Norel, John and I jumped over on the vehicle. Norel's in front, I'm behind Norel, and john is in the back, gunning for us, just in case. Norel looked back to me, and we exchanged a nod, making Norel turn back to the front and drive us to Django and Archland, and end them.
For several minutes, we looked around at all the villagers, unaware of the war taking place in this area, the family I saw way back, the spot they were at, they weren't there anymore, only a whip, blood, and a carriage were there now. John put a hand on my shoulder, knowing that the family was there, and knows like me, what happened to them. John removed his hand, and continued searching and location. The building I fought it, was still in shambles, I then remember what the man said before his death.
"There's more to life than you think, Evenor"
It still stands out as much as it did before.
We made it through the location, eventually leading through corridors of complete darkness, with children screaming and wailing and mothers crying. Blood stained the roads, and ever so often, we'd run over a corpse, already dead, obviously. Smoke was building up from a near building, or behind it. I pointed it out, and Norel instantly flipped the speeder towards it and sped through narrow walkways. Django was rampaging on a gigantic war truck, with his men throwing Molotovs (explosive cocktail) around in buildings, on buildings, and at people, burning them down to bits.
Once they saw us, Django pointed out to Norel and I, not caring or knowing John, and his men threw Molotovs at us. Norel quickly sped back so we wouldn't get hit by one. John then jumped off onto Django vehicle, firing off at men in his way. Norel pulled out his crossbow, with an explosive tip, and shot a man in the chest.
It killed him on it's own, but he was surrounded, with his own teammates. He blew up, sending Django's henchmen flying into car hoods and windows. John wasn't even moved an inch with the blow, and shot off more and more, until reaching Django, in which he punched him off the truck, onto Norel's bike. I knocked Django out. John then threw a grenade into the hatch, where the driver was, and set it off, jumping onto the speeder, and that caused Norel to speed out of the area before the truck blew up into pieces, there wasn't anybody in the area, except for us, and Django's now dead men.
