Manik was feeling so proud of Nandini , he was lucky to have met her and spend some time with her . When he had told her to express herself he did not knew that she was going to show Professor Mishra that he wasn't going to be spared of the insult he had done

One side all the girls were feeling empowered and were praising Nandini , at the other side all the boys had gone flat on Nandini.

 Harshad could not believe that a tiny girl like her can be so impressive , he had decided to woo her and make her his girlfriend and then take his revenge of punching her .

Professor Mishra's expression were out of the world , any sane person could have told that he was fuming with anger , he surely was proved wrong . The girl who he wanted to use in order to gain respect was the one who had insulted him in front of the whole college . The situation was against him and if he spoke against her then may be all his earned respect would go away [ as if he had any ] , so he quietly exited the auditorium after glaring at Nandini.

Nandini was happy to see the shine in every girls eye , she had performed earlier too but none of her songs had impacted her so much may be because she was changing getting a bit expressive even if it was through a song .She was hell tired of all the drama she packed her instrument and went to the library to grab a book  {such a bookworm she is}

All round the college people were busy gossiping about Nandini some of them became her fans while some were jealous of her so were busy finding faults of her . FAB5 were chilling in the cafeteria when they heard that some boys were bad mouthing about Nandini and discussing her figure, they were rating her looks and attitude . Manik's blood boiled hearing all these non sense talks he was about to punch that boy but he was beaten by Mukti who held that boys collar and slapped him . Suddenly all the chatting came to a hold , now everyone's attention was towards the boy and Mukti 

[Poor Manik whenever he wanted to take a stand for Nandini , she always did every thing herself and behind her back the other girls were taking stand , when will he get a chance? Now ...........]

Mukti: How dare you comment on a girl like that , you want to rate looks na now rate 

With that she kicked him somewhere where the sun rises . 

Everyone was looking at the guy who was fallen on the floor , Manik had no clue about them rating her so he became so angry that he pulled up the boy and punched him tightly thrice , the boy was bleeding but who could calm two angry hulks Mukti did not care and kicked him again 

The boy was begging them to leave him , they would have slaughtered them if they were stopped by Cabir and Dhruv 

Manik : Dare anyone gossip or comment about Nandini, she has done something really courageous which no one has done . No one should be seen commenting on her and if someone does then they will face FAB5 

Manik was boiling , his anger had crossed all limits he just wanted to kill that piece of shit , he dashed out of the cafeteria in order to not make any scene leaving a shocked FAB5 who were busy thinking about Manik's sudden care about Nandini

Cabir , came up with a very silly reason and told all of them that he might have done it just to support Mukti though all of them were not very convinced but let it go for the time being

Dhruv and Alya decided to go back home and even Mukti was so angry that she went back to her home . Cabir went behind Mukti while Navya told him that she would attend the class and later join all of them 

 Manik  was passing by the corridor when he saw Nandini entering the library , one look at her and our hulk was calmed . He went towards her to congratulate her 

Manik: Hey I thought after your amazing performance out there you would give a success party but here you are between these chambers reading

Nandini: Ya , this is how I celebrate , but I think you can't read books so you better leave

Manik: Hey , you can't say so I think I deserve a thank you at least 

Nandini: Either you quietly read or leave because I don't think you know about books

Manik: Hey , I Sense you have a lot of Sensibility. Was that too Austen-tatious of me to point out?   See I know about Jane austen and wait hear this out

"I wouldn't describe myself as 'book smart' – I'd rather say that I'm 'book sexy

Nandini rolled her eyes at him and got up 

Nandini: If you are done with your flirting can I go

Manik: When did I stop you , you know we live in a free country ,ohh wait you know you could have directly told me to follow you why ask indirectly

Nandini: I was a fool to think that Flirty Malhotra can be sane 

Manik: I am always sane but one look of you and all my sanity goes down the drain

Nandini: What would you take to leave me

Manik: Nothing , because even death can't do us apart

Nandini: Ok I got it you know about books , there is something for you on the table look

Manik: Try some better trick to distract me

Nandini: It is no trick , the note has something which you desperately want 

Manik: Oh you are giving me your number?

Nandini:Whatever [she rolled her eyes] Do you want it or not

Manik: Obviously I want it 

Manik saw a note kept on the table , he picked it up and saw five words written on it , he was sad that it did not have her number but after reading it twice he got to know what it was

He had a huge grin on his face , he could never get used to her method of apologising or thanking him in coded form , she always made him like more and more by just small gestures . By the time he saw around Nandini had escaped . He saw the message in FAB5 where all of them had gone home to relax and decided to meet in the evening , As Manik had no mood to attend classes even he left for his home 

Nandini knew if she directly thanked him he would tease her and flirt with her . She knew it was harmless flirting but every time when she saw that stupid grin on his face she would get irritated as she knew he must have something in his mind

Nandini was not able to understand who the actual Manik was. Was he Flirty Malhotra who never left a chance to flirt with her or was he the rude arrogant boy who did not spare a look to other girls or was he a mature person who helped her calm down 

She knew that today she wouldn't have performed well if Manik wouldn't have knocked some sense to her . She wanted to thank him but after spending years of loneliness , she had lacked these skills . She could take a stand for herself because she had been taking it since long , but she did not know how to thank someone who was caring because till now nobody cared for her

With a smile on her face she went to attend the class . While walk ind through the corridors she had expected people to stare and gossip about her after what happened but was shocked to see all of them silent and not staring at her , she did not know that Flirty Malhotra had warned all of them and no body dared to go against Manik Malhotra

Nandini attended all her classes and thankfully no other teacher was like Mishra , they all were good in their subject , while she was leaving the class she was interrupted by someone who called her

Navya: Nandini, thank you for saving me in Mishra Sirs class and you were extremely good I became your fan , would you like to be my friend . I am Navya , Navya Naveli , I am impressed by ypur singing and what a style you have . I loved how you took a stand for yourself

Navya began her non-stop express , Nandini was not comfortable speaking to new people , she could see truthfulness in her eyes but still she had no plans talking to her or any one else ; Flirty Malhotra was an exception , she did not talk to him its just that he gets on her nerve and she answers him back 

Nandini: I have not done any favour on you , even you spoke in favour of me so that makes us equal . Sorry but I don't like making friends

Nandini calmy spoke to Navya in order to not sound rude , she left from there leaving an open mouth Navya back who was busy thinking what Nandini was , how could she not like making friends . She could not believe that people like Nandini do exist because she can not live without talking , she decided to talk to Cabir about how strange Nandini is
