Chronicle 2
"It didn't matter how she fell apart, it was how she putted herself back together."
On march 28rd he was born. My brother. The most important thing in my life. And while he was born, i died. Not physically, but mentally. I spent the weekend thet my brother was born in at my grandma's. The moment they found out that my brother was born, they wanted to meet him. I mean, of course, but they just totally forgot about me. I sat in the garden for over an hour, while it was raining, because they drove without me. That was nothing that dramatic, i mean i was sick for weeks but it was still okay. I understood them. Or atleast I wanted to. I wanted to understand how you can just forget a little girl. Anyways, they came back after an hour, said Sorry and drove me to the hospital. I was freezing the two hour drive thanks to my wet clothes. When we arrived I jumped around the car and I wanted to see my little brother. The doctors got me in, and I swear, I was never as quiet as I was when I entered the room and I heard three instead of two breaths. The moment my mum looked up and smiled. My father hugged me and said that I can say hello. I know how i trembled because I thought I was gonna hurt him. I bowed down to him, and for a moment, everything stopped. It felt like every bad feeling or thought that I had respected that moment and left me alone. William Shakespear once wrote something i wanna quote because it exactly described this moment. "When I first saw you I fell in love, and you smiled because you knew it." And that was exactly what I felt, when I looked down at this tiny hands, that I knew I would care for for the rest of my life. I must say, he was the greatest gift my parents gave me. I saw his cute little eyes looking at me and he smiled. But he didn't just smile. He smiled when he looked at me. That moment was everything I needed to make my life perfect. I remember how he grabbed my pinkie finger and he could wrap his whole hand around it. A tear dropped my eye, and I said Hello. And excatly in that moment I knew I would never want to leave him again. that was the second chronicle. The shortest, but the one I love the most.
