It's been weeks now that Ella and Summer stayed with Tom bombadil and Goldberry, Ella and Summer grew very close to Goldberry that when she speaks she doesn't have to speak in riddles as for Tom, well he is what he is, he wouldn't be called Tom if he didn't speak in riddles and sing all the time, but they got used to that.

Summer got to learn how to cook and heal while Ella worked on how to show her marks with Goldberry instructing her what to do and with Tom lounging around or watering the plants and pointing out Ella's mistakes. Ella was doing alright but not much have shown. She would usually get the burning sensation and she would steam up like a BBQ grill and Goldberry would have to throw water on her to stop her screaming and pain.

"Focus Ella!" Goldberry said as she stood in front of Ella with her arms folded in front of her chest. Ella groaned and threw her hands in the air. "Goldberry, this is useless we have doing this for weeks now and still nothing! Don't you think that she stole my powers or something!" Ella complained. "No evil is powerful enough to take the chosen one's power." Goldberry said as she snickered.

"Then tell me little one how you enjoy watching your sister throw herself at your husband." Goldberry always used that kind of sentence to push Ella to her limit. Summer on the other hand was in the house cooking lunch, hazel nut soup.

Ella tried once more focusing on the marks but as usual it ended up the same with her curling up in a steaming ball. Tom skipped to Ella with the pail of water in his hand and he splashed her with the water. "Ring a ding dillo! Hurry now, my merry friend! Forget your worries! Ring a ding dillo del, my hearties! Come and I shall share to you news of Rivendell." he sang as he skipped inside.

Goldberry giggled and helped Ella up as they walked inside the house to find Tom and Summer dancing around the kitchen singing a song about a 'merry lunch' Goldberry giggled, they gestured for Ella to join. They did this every lunch and for every time they asked Ella to join She would reject because it was hard to be merry when your family is Valar knows where. But Ella thought that she was being too hard on herself and she should just enjoy her time while she was human, because she didn't have much long time to live like she did before when she was an elf.

Ella smiled and started to dance and sing with them, the four was dancing around the kitchen merrily. Ella closed her eyes and just enjoyed the moment but all of a sudden Tom, Goldberry and Summer stopped dancing and singing. Ella opened her eyes to see a smiling Tom, a shocked Goldberry and a scared Summer. "What?" Ella asked as they just stared at her. "You're glowing." Goldberry said as she looked awe at Ella.

Ella looked down to see her golden marks on her body. Valar knew how she felt, her smile stretched from ear to ear and she jumped up and down. She never felt this happy in a long time. She looked to Tom and Goldberry to see them smiling but Summer still had a horrified look on her face. "Can't believe it!" Ella squealed with joy but in a blink of an eye the marks disappeared and the burning sensation came back and steam was coming from her body and it hurt more than the rest she had.

Ella screamed at the top of her lungs making everyone scramble to look for water but it was Summer who got the flower vase and threw the water at Ella. Ella got up and was frustrated. "Don't worry little one, we will try again." Goldberry said sadly with Tom's arm around her waist. "I'm done trying!! I keep trying and trying!! Maybe my life is a lie!! Maybe I wasn't meant to be here!! Maybe I wasn't meant for Legolas!!" Ella shouted silently like a whisper.

Tom and Goldberry sighed but Summer just stood there with the vase still in her hands staring at Ella as if a huge spider was on her nose. Tom looked at Goldberry with a message in his eyes, that's when Goldberry grabbed Summer by the shoulders and went outside for a moment. Tom sighed as he squatted to Ella's level. Ella was looking at the ground with tears in her eyes. Tom put his hand on her shoulder and Ella looked up. "Everything you went through was meant to be but maybe this time is not the right time." he said making Ella shock, because he was speaking in his normal voice. "Tom, wow! Umm.. I don't know what to say." Ella said confused. Tom chuckled and said "Rivendell sent me a message that it's Ally's begetting day, he invited us. but only you. Summer and Goldberry are going." 

"What about you?" Ella asked.

"I don't leave my forest, it needs me. Goldberry will guide and protect you, she is powerful you know. Just cheer up and make Ally believe that you aren't affected by her plan." he said. Ella smiled and said "Thank you." She gave Tom a friendly hug as Goldberry and Summer came back. Goldberry shouted "GROUP HUG!" Everyone joined the hug and Ella felt hope rise within her.

Later that night Ella was wide awake while everyone was asleep, "I'm scared Ella." Summer said beside Ella making Ella snap her head towards her shock to see her best friend wide awake staring at the full moon. Ella turned her whole body to face Summer as she was preparing for a best friend talk. "What are you afraid of?" Ella asked. Summer turned her body to her and said "When you regain everything you will forget about me." As tears filled her eyes making Ella feel guilty. "You know that won't happen Summer." Ella said.

Summer smiled but Ella knew it was a fake smile. "Somehow I wish I could believe you." Summer said making Ella depressed, Summer turned around making her back face Ella. Ella stared at the moon praying that she could get through this and hopefully be done with it, but she had a bad feeling that something wasn't right.

It was morning and the three girls were getting ready to journey to Rivendell, but as they were packing bags on their horses, Ella heard a familiar voice filled the air. "Hey Tom! Hey Goldberry!" Ella looked up to see the four hobbits that she loved and adored ever since she met them. "Hey dol merry dol Frodo Baggins!!" Tom sang.

"Going to Ally's begetting day?" Pippin asked. 

"No, just me, Summer and Ella." Goldberry said as she came beside Tom. 

"Ella? Summer?" Sam asked confused looking at Ella and Summer. Ella smiled widely and waved while Summer just had a straight face on. "Isn't Ella Ally's sister. The real chosen one but she betrayed us?" Merry asked making Ella flinched as he said betrayed us.

Goldberry laughed and said "She didn't betray you, she has a right to accept it or not." Ella felt grateful for that. "Hi." the four hobbits said in unison. "Why does she look happy to see us, it's creepy!" Pippin whispered in merry's ear but everyone could hear it.

"As much as we want to stay, we must go." Goldberry said as she kissed Tom's cheek and mounted her horse gracefully. Summer mounted hers and so did Ella, Sam rode on his pony that he brought to carry most of their stuff, Merry was with Goldberry, Pippin with Summer and Frodo with Ella.

"So may I ask why did you reject that you're the chosen one?" Frodo asked breaking the silence between Ella and him. Because Sam was talking and laughing with Summer and Pippin, Merry was having a chat with Goldberry so that means Ella and Frodo were the only silent ones. Ella did a frown and said "Let's just say I was a foolish girl who only thought of herself, I regretted it." She was actually describing Ally.

"Oh, well everything went well.... so that means we don't need to have a grudge on you that's what Lord Elrond said." Frodo said as he smiled at Ella. "Besides after the ring has been destroyed Ally has been a different person, you on the other hand are a kind lady." Frodo said. Ella smiled and said "Thank you!"

The rest of the trip was mostly getting to know each other again, but that was only for Ella. She already knew almost everything about the hobbits but she didn't tell them. They were all laughing together as Goldberry told us stories about Tom, but everybody was quiet as Rivendell was now in our sight.

"Wow! No matter how many times I see Rivendell It can always take my breath away." Sam said and in Ella's head she said

Me too.
